What a pile of horse you-know-what!

Trump is out to clear his trashy name by sending his corrupt stooges out to fight for him. He's such a disgrace.

2020 can't come soon enough.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

So he ordered all his subordinates not to cooperate with subpoenas from Congress and then turns around and tells the Intelligence Agencies they have to cooperate with a goon (Barr) he appointed?

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Wait, are these the same intelligence communities that Dump disparaged, and chose to believe Puti over?

He says we should move on from the Mueller report and now he says we should go all the way back to the origins of the investigation. Trump makes no sense at all.

AG is now the presidents personal cop and lawyer. Nah , no corruption here at all.

Strange that Dump orders people to support the investigations he (illegally) opens, but demands his people obstruct investigations from the other side. I don't remember Hillary doing that during 7 Benghazi investigations. Or Bill during his impeachment investigations.

No Obama indictments or convictions! But,,,,,,,Dump only hires the best people. LOL!

How many more people will it talk before Trump learns the dossier was initially funded by REPUBLICANS?

8 ( +11 / -3 )

The subject matter is in "checking up on" the intelligence agencies.... Why NOT?

There should be a periodic review of all agencies and departments, regardless of who the President is. It should be done by both the Legislative as well as the Executive branches as their purposes and interesst are different. Today, it is "imperative" that all agencies and departments be deeply scrutinized.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

This is disgusting--and frightening. Expect to see distorted and selective releases of classified info, a la the cherry-picked Nunes Memo, to the Fox Propaganda Pipeline in support of Trump's crazed "deep state coup" theories. Every day, we become more like Russia.

Let's also declassify the interpreter's notes from Helsinki.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Barr will eventually have a choice: testify before Congress or go to jail. Then he will face another choice: turn on Trump (who is not, let's remember, his boss) or risk jail.

Barr must be plenty careful here.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Happy declassification day!

as predicted Dems don’t want transparency anymore.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

“If you have nothing to hide and did nothing wrong you won’t mind if everyone is allowed to see it” isn’t that how the liberal saying goes? Or is that just for Trump people?

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Happy declassification day!

as predicted Dems don’t want transparency anymore.

There's that mind-reading ability shining through again.

I'm all for it because transparency is good, so let's see Donny's taxes.

What I am against and will mock mercilessly is Trumpophiles who complained non-stop about Mueller suddenly wanting more investigations. Those people are complete hypocritical morons.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Are you for transparency for everyone to see these documents, the subject of this article ? You can do it, champ. Yes or no?

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Mueller had his investigations those don’t count for our investigations as he did not review any conduct of the intelligence agencies, FBI or the government. First investigations into those topics just started.

Strange how your thirst for investigations ends once it’s time to look at the other side.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

Just out of curiosity... who here thinks the fully unredacted Mueller report will be released?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

A 99.5 percent unredacted version is available has sat untouched by Dems for weeks. Read that then ask for the last .5 percent if you need it.

Grand jury material, never will be. If so, someone going prison.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Just out of curiosity... who here thinks the fully unredacted Mueller report will be released?

The WH is holding it hostage. They recently offered it in exchange for Congress letting Barr go but were rebuffed. The longer they hold on to it, though, the less value it has, as the redacted sections can be elucidated through testimony, so in the end, it may not matter.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

So if any methods to obtain information relating to that 0.5% of redacted report are found to be illegal, there are gonna be a lot of people asking about it... but it won't just be the methods used ... it'll also be the details of the Mueller report. This could backfire on Trump. I'm all for the transparency.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Are you for transparency for everyone to see these documents, the subject of this article ? You can do it, champ. Yes or no?

Yes, absolutely. I was clear about that in my post, tiger. Keep working on the reading, sport.

Mueller had his investigations those don’t count for our investigations as he did not review any conduct of the intelligence agencies, FBI or the government. First investigations into those topics just started.

Have you forgotten the previous IG report you kept assuring us would find bias and corruption, but found none?

Strange how your thirst for investigations ends once it’s time to look at the other side.

Strange how you keep reading my mind incorrectly. I say let the investigations fly!

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Blacklab: Not a single person here is against these documents being released. Please stick to the liberals that are actually posting when you present an argument.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

While he is in Japan watching sumo, he is causing pain to hard-working good people to get what he wants. I really think , he had better investigates himself and reflects on all the bad actions ,he is causing to the American people.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Why isn't Donnybwprking for the American people? He should be proposing legislation and working with Turtle McConnel on all the legislation piling up in the Senate.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Have some respect for POTUS. He is the leader of the free world. This whole debacle is just a distraction from him doing the great job we all expect of him

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Have some respect for POTUS. He is the leader of the free world. This whole debacle is just a distraction from him doing the great job we all expect of him

Respect is EARNED not blindly given. From the American point of view, he has not respected the position of POTUS in the first place in both word and deed. American's do not respect the POTUS just because of a title. The people do not SERVE the POTUS, the people do not SERVE the country nor the political party. It is exactly the OPPOSITE. The POTUS (who is a PUBLIC SERVANT) serves the people at the leisure of the PEOPLE of the US.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Time for these agencies to start eating Trump and cronies alive. Trumpco continuing their "distraction" of their own corruption by trying to redirect at agencies of the US government that can dig up dirt and actual evidence on the turn of a dime.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Does that mean all of the agencies intel and operating procedures will be passed onto his Master Darth Puti for the price of Dump tower in Moscow?

Trump news: President 'crying out' for impeachment as he insists he is 'stable genius' in White House rant

Trump declares man he appointed secretary of state 'totally ill prepared and ill equipped' for the job

https://news.yahoo.com/trump-declares-tillerson-secretary-of-state-totally-ill-prepared-and-ill-equipped-for-the-job-133422542.html

President Trump on Thursday lashed out at Rex Tillerson after the former secretary of state reportedly told members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee that Russian President Vladimir Putin out-prepared Trump for their first meeting in Germany.

Trump responded by calling Tillerson incompetent.

“Rex Tillerson, a man who is ‘dumb as a rock’ and totally ill prepared and ill equipped to be Secretary of State, made up a story (he got fired) that I was out-prepared by Vladimir Putin at a meeting in Hamburg, Germany,” he tweeted. “I don’t think Putin would agree. Look how the U.S. is doing!”

If Tillerson was “totally ill prepared and ill equipped” to be the nation’s top diplomat, Trump himself would be to blame.

Trump moves to escalate investigation of intel agencies

Good. Mueller time is over. Time to pay the Barr tab.

By the way, why are the Democrats so afraid of this investigation? They don't have anything to hide, do they?

Chip Star: Why isn't Donnybwprking ( working, right? ) for the American people?

He is. It's the House that isn't.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

He is. It's the House that isn't.

The House has passed over 100 pieces of legislation. Seems they're doing their job just fine.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

AG is now the presidents personal cop and lawyer. Nah , no corruption here at all.

Barr has done everything by the book. Show me some evidence to the contrary.

The House has passed over 100 pieces of legislation. Seems they're doing their job just fine.

Have they passed legislation adequately funding border security?

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Time to pay the Barr tab.

First time I saw that I thought it was clever. Every subsequent time... especially from the same person... it's just lame. Anyway... Barr can pay his own darn tab.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

First time I saw that I thought it was clever. Every subsequent time... especially from the same person... it's just lame.

Nah, it still works :D

Despite Mueller finding no evidence to support criminal charges against Americans related to Russia's actions, his report documented extensive Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 campaign

Hey, who was president at this time? Checking... Obama! How come he didn't do anything about this?

And what about the far more serious efforts to undermine the U.S. by China? Not worth looking into?

Democrats motto: If you can't beat him, impeach him!

It's gonna be a great summer, get the popcorn out!

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Waste of time.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Nah, it still works :D

In the same way that Halle Berry's line about frogs and lightning still works. The writers should be ashamed of that one.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

@Serrano

Barr has done everything by the book. Show me some evidence to the contrary.

House Intelligence Committee cancels contempt vote after Barr agrees to provide Mueller documents

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/5/22/1859566/-House-Intelligence-Committee-cancels-contempt-vote-after-Barr-agrees-to-provide-Mueller-documents

According to CNN, the offer from the DOJ came directly from the pressure applied by Schiff. Unlike the earlier subpoena and resulting contempt vote from the House Judiciary Committee, Barr seems to have been genuinely concerned about whatever “enforcement action” Schiff had in mind, and on Tuesday indicated that the DOJ was gathering and preparing the information requested by the committee.

There you go! You are welcome! LOL!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Caption to photo above...

Trump: You got my back, right homeboy???

Barr: Truth Dog...

Trump: Between us both we'll tear down our intel agencies that form our firewall against Russian espionage and influence...

Barr: Can't wait to see my new Trump Tower Moscow Penthouse...

Both: Tee Hee, Tee Hee......

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Have some respect for POTUS. He is the leader of the free world. This whole debacle is just a distraction from him doing the great job we all expect of him

seriously have you been sleeping under a rock the last 3 yrs!?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Barr will eventually have a choice: testify before Congress or go to jail.

Barr won’t be going to jail period, the Dems do that, it’s over for them, they are already suffering at the polls with each passing.

Then he will face another choice: turn on Trump (who is not, let's remember, his boss) or risk jail.

Barr must be plenty careful here.

I doubt it, he seems even more determined and unshaken by a group of children who are way out of his league and who pretty much wrote the book on every failed strategy the Deme just seem bent on trying to unsuccessfully follow through.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

This is disgusting--and frightening. Expect to see distorted and selective releases of classified info,

You mean the ones the Dems really don’t want the rest of the country to see, how dare he!

a la the cherry-picked Nunes Memo, to the Fox Propaganda Pipeline in support of Trump's crazed "deep state coup" theories. Every day, we become more like Russia.

Yeah, trying to blame Fox for not falling in line with the Trump had media to score clicks and to give a non-visceral point of view.

Let's also declassify the interpreter's notes from Helsinki.

Yes, let’s also see the Podesta tapes as well as all of Hillary’s classified emails she tried to destroy.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Its not Trump, but the whole Stupid Political system in the US nowadays. They've all lost sight of who they really work for... the US Citizen. And instead, are behaving like Kids in a classic "He said/She said... I'm going to tell Teacher on you" scenario. I wouldn't be surprised to see an Independent win the next Presidential election.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

But... how can you be Independent in the US... you're either Classified as Republican (fixed) or Democrat (Floating).

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

The thing is.... would you invite DT around for Dinner ?

Regardless of his Policies Good or Bad, I don't think I would, as I suspect, he would simply talk about himself and how Great he was.

Barrack Obama on the other-hand would appear to be a great person to have at a family Dinner table.

Perhaps, we should look differently upon our respective Politicians and ask ourselves .. would we invite them around for Dinner, and how'd it go, if we did ?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Hey, who was president at this time? Checking... Obama! How come he didn't do anything about this?

Obama did do something. The reasons he did what he did are very clear and can be found with cursory research.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Have they passed legislation adequately funding border security?

Ypu went from claiming the House has done nothing to asking about what it has done on border security. Smooth. Whether the Hoise has done anything in border security has no bearing innyou incorrectly stating the House hasn't passed any legislation. HAR!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Yeah, trying to blame Fox for not falling in line with the Trump had media to score clicks and to give a non-visceral point of view.

Good one. A bit early to be laughing this hard, but good one. You might as well start calling Fox fair and balanced again.

Yes, let’s also see the Podesta tapes as well as all of Hillary’s classified emails she tried to destroy.

Hillary and Podesta are completely irrelevant to an article on Donny and Barr.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Regardless of his Policies Good or Bad, I don't think I would, as I suspect, he would simply talk about himself and how Great he was.

I would. No problem. A lot of people are like this anyway. He’s just on a different level.

Barrack Obama on the other-hand would appear to be a great person to have at a family Dinner table.

No. That fake smile/smirk and phony/manacured personality would kill my appetite.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Its not Trump, but the whole Stupid Political system in the US nowadays.

You got that right

They've all lost sight of who they really work for... the US Citizen.*

I’m not so sure they’ve lost anything. History shows it’s always been like this for the most part (special interest corruption/lobbying). What’s changed is the increase of multinational interests as well as the power of the central banks/the Fed, and lastly, the Democratic Party has thrown off their “people/union” base for Wall Street, central bankers, etc. That’s why the Dems have went all in on Social Justice issues instead of support for the unions. It’s easier and they can still party with Wall Street.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

No. That fake smile/smirk and phony/manacured personality would kill my appetite.

Thats called acting like an adult.

No memtion of republican failures? How balanced and reasonable of you.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

@mrnoidal truth: the dems are and always have been the party of racism, division, and poverty.

Perhaps in the minds of partisan extremists who can only view the world from positions polar opposite theirs. And it could also be in the minds of those paid to throw more fuel on long burning fires.
