He should be more worried about spending a ton of cash defending himself from the state charges he is going to be faced with, that will not be covered by the pardon he will probably give himself!

That and the what, roughly $450 MILLION in debts he has to pay out of his own pockets?

Will he be allowed to run his own TV channel from his prison cell?

Were I a betting man, I'd give him until around next Fri/Sat to give up the ghost.

exactly. NY prosecutors are closing in on his taxes, cleared the way by the SCOTUS, that basically said the president isnt above the law, not that it matters now because come Jan 20 he wont be immune to prosecution especially for crimes before he was even president. Presidential pardons dont work on state crimes and even if Biden wanted to he couldn't. Then weve got two women who accuse Trump of rape and sexual misconduct, he wont have the US AG and the US taxpayers paying for his litigation. Its going to cost him a fortune money that it doesnt have. Nothing looks good for Trump future

He's going to prison.

can you run for president from prison?

He won’t be going to prison. If he were, then it would have happened long ago, Nadler and Weismann have been gunning for Trump for years and the guy went through so many audits and nothing and this won’t be any different because they continue to fail and find any serious Wrongdoing.

Presidential pardons dont work on state crimes and even if Biden wanted to he couldn't.

He wouldn’t need to, unnecessary.

You guys are getting way over your skies, relax Trump is not going to prison,it doesn’t work like that in the real world. Lol

I suspect a lot of people will not want to know him when his presidency is over.

A good name for his TV media outlet would be EGO

I’ll imagine he’ll keep on scamming idiots.

I have heard the term a "virtual Confederacy" bandied about. The Republican establishment and 40 percent of the country will view Biden as illegitimate, spurred by Trump and his platform. The obstruction and gridlock will make people pine for the Obama years. The Democratic establishment is already trying to blame progressives for the lukewarm results that were worse than projected so expect no headway on popular progressive measures like universal healthcare, higher corporate taxes and addressing inequality. The Democratic base will be disillusioned and it is easy to see a resurgent, aggrieved populist return in a few years.

The Democrats have only themselves to blame for not nominating a true champion of progressive policies who has been shown to be able to erode Trump's base among the white working class.

The danger of Trumpism, and the populism it represents, is not going away with him out of office and the lack of effective vision and policy from the opposition party is what sets the stage for it.

I absolutely and completely agree with you. Well said.

I imagine the various 'western' intelligence agencies are worried Trump will sell or trade state information to his friends Netanyahu, Putin, Erdogan and others.

Trump has no loyalty to the US, only to his bank accounts. Most are probably offshore so he doesn't have to pay US taxes.

But most Americans knew he was a conman when he was elected. Why so many thought he would be different says a lot about his supporters.

The biggest loser the world has ever seen.

Concede you horrible old brat..!

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Ehhh he'll be fine. I don't understand why his supporters are even slightly agitated by any of this.

He'll pardon himself, he'll go on to start up his ridiculous TV channel, and he'll clean up on speaking tours.

The best you can hope for is that he'll be remembered as the disgraced president.

-- oh wait, that ship has sailed.

He'll pardon himself

The problem is whether he can get away with that. These are untested waters.

We know the west coast are relaxing and legalizing their drug laws, but......

Trump has no loyalty to the US,

Yes, he does, that’s why he has such a following for blue color workers, law enforcement and the military, the guy has enough money. My house ain’t painted gold and I got money.

only to his bank accounts. Most are probably offshore so he doesn't have to pay US taxes.

He does, the man is not doing anything any different than any other businessman of the guy did do unlawful things he would have been in trouble a long time ago. The guy was audited a few times and nothing. Now once he’s out of office they’ll find something on Trump the way they found more Biden votes?

But most Americans knew he was a conman when he was elected.

But Congress has a 17% favorable approval which leads on to think people think they are the conmen and you know what? They’re right.

Why so many thought he would be different says a lot about his supporters.

He was and is, that’s why his popularity continues to grow.

Trump considers a future outside White House

The media does not give up trying to solidify their fake news that has given up the election. He of course has not. The fight to reverse the election scam is continuing and course that is what he is busy with. How ironic it is that the same media which were bleating about election interference for 4 years non-stop have gone completely silent on that and are now claiming that election interference does not exist, even if we are looking at it.

How much revenue did whatsisname's properties get directly from the US taxpayer, and why aren't people crying foul en masse about this kleptocracy?

With his long-shot efforts to hang on for a second term dwindling, U.S. President Donald Trump is discussing with advisers several media ventures and appearances that would keep him in the spotlight

A high profile trial is distinct possibility.

His children going to court to declare trump mentally incompetent and take control of the businesses is another one.

The spotlight will surely be on him and his faculties or the lack of them!!!!
