I started reading it yesterday. A few months into his reign of terror as POTUS, they all arranged a birthday party for his two sisters at the WH and invited family members. It was the first time in a long time Mary had seen Trump. Forget about the birthday girls - it was all about him, him and him.

Among the conversation at the dinner table:

“I got my teeth whitened. What do you think?”

“Lara, there, I barely even knew who the f*** she was, honestly, but then she gave a great speech during the

campaign in Georgia supporting me.”

Note: Lara had been his daughter-in-law for 3 years. Jesus.

No doubt individuals will watch the interview and come away with an array of perspectives. I watched parts of the interview, and though she reminded me of spoiled class people I've met along the way I found her credible.

But then I've long believed Trump's damaged, and quite probably that shaped how I perceived her. One example of beliefs shaping perception would be a white supremacist reading a manifesto written by another white supremacist and saying he/she didn't see what was written as advocating white supremacy.
