Given there are so many 'defense officials', and given the notion that in any large population outliers and anomalies are bound to occur, I think there probably are a handful of defense officials 'wary of the cost and added bureaucracy',

but they must be outliers.

While the feds are finding ways to finance this (for the benefit of the big war industries and their money backers), how's healthcare (aka TrumpdoesnotCare) coming along? Infrastructure upgrades? Especially with a forecast DEcrease in tax revenues since Trump and the GOP gave themselves and their fellow 'elite' .01% tax breaks.

In a series of tweets, Deputy Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan said the creation of Space Command is a "critical step" in America's ability to manage space as a warfighting domain.

Call me a whimp if you like but I'm not a great fan of wars.  Seems to me there are enough of them going on planet earth at the moment without planning to take them into space.  And anyway, who gave permission for the US to claim space as theirs?  If there are friendly aliens out there please pay a visit and stop this madness.

As much as I like sci-fi movies, I am 100% against this regardless of its political backing. I don't think the military should even be allowed the extra budget to fund this idea...you all know how much this stuff costs? Congress can't possibly approve this. What a joke...
