But, it isn't about the fine, the bigger picture says a conviction of all counts means limited to no loan power, the essence of the Trump organization business, from the banks who cannot trust them from illegal actions. Found guilty on all 17 counts and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
45 wasn’t targeted in the case so there was never going to be any jail time for him in connection to these charges. Mr Weisselberg took the fall, he is in prison now and facing a $2 million fine.
Above that, as has been stated above numerous times and in the article the 45 brand is further tarnished and any financial dealings will now be examined very closely.
It’s far from anticlimactic.

Allow me to introduce the difference between the noun markers “an” and “the”.
“An owner” means one is one of many or at least multiple owners.
”The owner means that one is the ONLY owner.
“Publicly traded” means a business is for sale on the stock market and anyone can buy a share of the business at the market (stock) price.
IMPORTANTLY, it also SEPARATES ownership from liability for the businesses crimes or debts.
You are not the corporation and the corporation is not you. The corporation borrowed money but you did not. Nor are you liable for crimes.
Private businesses like Trump org have no such separation. Trump can be held liable for both unpaid debts AND crimes (and both are coming)
