All Trump will do is drive up prices in the US while he insulated the rich with tax cuts. The tax cuts are not stimulating the US economy as projected so tariffs will be more detrimental to the average American. Trump needs to go back to the fairy tale world of television.

Again the US refusing to play by the rules they insist that others should use.

15 ( +23 / -8 )

Let's dance then.

We'll see how happy american workers are when they start losing their jobs.

Isn't this how the Depression started?

Oh well, I'm sure screaming Cheeto knows what he's doing. There's a fella that knows how to go bankrupt in style.

13 ( +19 / -6 )

If it was only tariffs on China and Japan, it could have worked to the US's advantage, but blanket tariffs on all the US's allies is likely to isolate the US and draw the EU closer to China, completely dismantle NAFTA, and make the US a pariah state. This is not good.

12 ( +17 / -5 )

A trade war and conflict between the US and its closest allies is EXACTLY what Vladamir Putin would want.

The useful idiot in the White House does his bidding.

MAGA

Last time I checked, Canada is not a national security threat. But the US IC said that ZTE phones are.

What does Trump do? Punish Canada and welcome ZTE in.

Because, of course.

12 ( +18 / -6 )

So all of the negotiations failed?

12 ( +12 / -0 )

Globalism and multiculturalism is not good for developed countries

What has multiculturalism got to do with the tariff war?

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Trump burning bridges with US allies, again.

The EU and Canada will fight back (with tariffs and boycotts, natch). Time to bury this administration (metaphorically, of course).

Imports are a threat to national security? Pathetic.

9 ( +15 / -6 )

Great, let them retaliate. The free ride is over!

oh they will retaliate when they take their case to the WTO and its shown illegal, in the small chance that fails then any other trading partner can use this same excuse and impose retaliatory tariffs which will definitely effect US exports, mostly red states.

Finally, jobs for US workers. and its actually been shown to do the opposite if/when EU, Japan China, Canada, Mexico also impose retaliatory tariffs on American exports well see how many of those red state jobs are still available. Bush's same tariffs in 2002 actually cost AMerica jobs, it was ruled illegal by the WTO and Bush canceled them a year later. Bush chief of staff even states today that it wasn't a good policy,. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2018/03/06/remember-bushs-2002-steel-tariffs-his-chief-of-staff-warns-trump-not-to-do-the-same/?utm_term=.4f28343072f2

According to Peter O'Hanraha-hanrahan, the German trade minister certainly isn't happy with the 'deal'

bass4funk: "I never even contemplated on trying to be a left wing...lost soul."

Most racists and bigots don't even realise they are as such, nor can they do anything but get defensive when called out, such as Roseanne, and Trump himself. They would never try to be rationale, moral, or open-minded, because in their minds, despite glaring evidence to the contrary, they feel they are doing nothing wrong. So, naturally, you don't every contemplate being left-wing.

"More power to the President for taking a wrecking ball to the establishment and smashing it to pieces."

I love how you say this, and then when it's pointed out to you that he is hiring MORE "establishment" and not "draining the swamp" at all, you say, "Well, why would he? It makes sense to hire people with experience!" or when he flubs yet again you say, "Well, he's new at this... it's natural to make mistakes!"

"Actually, he’s trying to excavate it from a long and disastrous 8 years."

No, he's the biggest disaster to ever hit your nation. Period. You'll be saying the same thing once he's gone, probably with a new handle. Same as you called him a lunatic one minute and a god the next.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

The real target is China, not Canada or EU. I'm loving it ! China exports very little steel to the US, and when China joins the EU, Canada, Japan, Mexico at the WTO to prove once again the tariffs are illegal, When these countries slap tariffs on US exports well see if there are any jobs left in those red states. LOL

Comparing today's strong U.S. economy to ... the stock market crash of 1929?

And national protectionism and lack of investor safeguards.

You do realize that the stock market's overall performance during Trump's administration has been very strong, right?

You do realize the stock market does not represent the economy, right? You do realize the stock market is also prone to generate bubbles, right? Especially when under regulated, and especially when banks are selling products similar to the products that created the 2008 crash?

It's "buffoon," by the way. If you're going to insult someone's intelligence, it's probably not a good idea to misspell words while doing it. (See the word "irony" in the dictionary.)

I'll take this "buffoon" any day of the week over someone who's Inner Economy Expert is coming out from being a discussion-forum nickname and a keyboard.

Called a type-o. I originally intended baboon, but given the recent racist comments Barr and Trump support of racism.... You might want to check yo grammar yo-self. No one likes a spelling or grammar detective who uses that for ad hominem attacks.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

More power to the President for taking a wrecking ball to the establishment and smashing it to pieces.

He's destroying relations with US allies, he's tearing his own nation apart, he's building up the establishment worse than ever with his cronyism and nepotism. Not to mention the mess he's stirring up in the Middle East.

But like lemmings, his followers will follow him, yea, into the abyss.

Cripes. It's actually scary that some people refuse to see what a disaster this man is. And how he's screwing your future.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

It is time for Japan to hit back HARD! Trump has zero respect for the Japanese people and wants to put a 25 percent tariff on Japanese built vehicles. I say Japan needs to kick out the freeloading US military and match each and every tariff. If they place a tariff on out vehicles, we need to match it with a 25 percent tariff on their planes and other equipment. Japanese airlines will have to buy Airbus! Trump and his people want a trade war, I say bring it on!

5 ( +10 / -5 )

Trump is focusing on small potatoes to stoke his nationalistic base. He doesn't want to focus on the real trade problem, China. In fact, China is now using Trump against the American public and national security. Great job China.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

https://www.wsj.com/articles/trumps-trade-policies-threaten-millions-of-jobs-u-s-chamber-of-commerce-says-1527792627

According to the US Chamber of Commerce, Trump's trade policies could cost 2.6 million jobs.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

There was a good story in the news about this tonight. Tariffs can be imposed on countless U.S. goods such as Levi's jeans, Harley-Davidson bikes, and various food items, to name a few. China can start buying Airbus instead of Boeing.

Many Americans are going to lose their jobs over the next year because of this decision by Trump. Even Republican lawmakers are against it, as are many in his revolving door administration.

What a disgrace to the U.S. he is. He treats allies as adversaries. I would say Trump is probably the most despised leader in the world right now, and that's saying lot considering some of the types leading countries around the world.

Well, 2 1/2 years to go before he is booted out. I pity the next president. It's going to take years to undo the damage Trump is doing.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

we will stay in the main parts where we have all the produce, agricultural and firearms

Sounds almost third world.

Isn’t California the world’s fifth or sixth largest economy? It’s on your drive from Texas through Fukuoka.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Trump is imposing more tariffs on allies than foes.

Make America 1929 Again.

Who elected this bafoon?

4 ( +8 / -4 )

They cannot afford a trade war with America. There is nothing that America cannot manufacture. America can raise enough agricultural products to feed America and much of the world. and America certainly cant afford a trade war with a culmination of countries that almost twice the GDP of America. Yes America can manufacture anything , but they cant manufacture anything at a price Americans are prepared to pay, its American companies and consumers who are addicted to cheap Chinese imports not vise versa. All those American products made of steel will now be considerable more expensive and any hope of America exporting those products will also be considerable more difficult as they've just made themselves less competitive. America will never be able to produce steel cheaper than their Asian rivals thats just the way it is.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trudeau is bang on -- how contributing to the US defense is "against national security" only makes sense in a Trumper's world. I say let them go out and die in inferior products, then, and Canada can EASILY retaliate and put the hurt on them FAR more by slapping tariffs on all sorts of things. It's clearly the US that will hurt from this the most, with consumers already feeling the pain and Wall Street proving it isn't helping the economy either.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I think you give the American people not enough credit, if they can smell a witch hunt, they can China their tactical mind Grames they are playing.

Grames?

Sometime back, I flirted with the idea of becoming a right-wing American citizen, for a lark. But it's very costly and detrimental to the good of the planet. The lobotomy procedure alone, would set you back thousands.

This madness will affect the US, in the long term. Not just its workers but it's standing in the word (already taken serious blows since Trump came along) and its credibility.

I'd like to pretend that I don't care, but I do. Why is the Trump administration doing this? Why is Trump determined to bury his country and his own people?

The long term legacy of this disasterous man and his "politics" is almost unthinkable.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Bass: Well, at least someone is finally caring about America and Americans and the American worker,

“President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!”

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Well, 2 1/2 years to go before he is booted out. I pity the next president. It's going to take years to undo the damage Trump is doing.

Only our Independent Republicans have the capacity to understand the 12 dimensional chess Trump is playing in zero gravity.

Heh, or maybe they're just all insane.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

I never defended any deal between ZTE and the US. I don’t trust China and I get it why Trump is doing it, but I’m not at all comfortable with it.

Me neither. I thought Trump's big deal was protecting American jobs. I was just as surprised as you were to see him concerned about protecting Chinese jobs at a corrupt company.

How do you think the Chinese got him to so publicly reverse his position, and do you think they will require him to do it again in the future?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Idiots don't get it. Tariffs are the stupid way to do things. Now we have a completely unecassary trade war. I agree corporations shouldn't be ignorantly coddling up China economically because "MONEY". But if Trump's administration really wanted to get at China's trade practices there are much, much smarter ways to do it than this. And especially ***king up our integrity and credibility with our allies. But the Trumpeteers are into rhetoric and blind arrogance which is going to end up very nasty for the US in the end. "Lone wolf Clint Eastwood Western Dirty Harry Shoot First Ask Questions Later" mentality....

Keep lighting the fires idiots, and when it blows up in your faces I'm going to remind you every day I can that you wanted it. You asked for it, and you're going to get it... just not the way you thought it would be.

And this is just another one of the reason's November can't come soon enough to stop this foolishness. I want the orange fool to be stopped dead in his tracks with this retro'80s business mentality BS.

Trump is kissing up to ZTE because China's gov't gave trademarks to his girlfriend (ahem!) daughter.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Why should Europeans suffer for the predatory mercantilist trade policies of China and Japan?

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Allies! Canada, Mexico, E U, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and now China are protectionist countries that have been raping America in trade for many years, with their dirty trade barriers, many are hidden barriers with unreasonable requirements that restrict and inhibit the entry of American products into their countries. This is why there are huge trade surpluses in there favor.

The fact that 90% of the premium car market in the US is German has to do with quality and reliability as one example among many others, quality products made in developed nations or made in the US by foreign companies like your Heckler & Koch , quality products made in development countries like China [ like your iPhone] and cheap products like your T shirt, so that you can buy it at an affordable price at Walmart, made in development countries are the major reason that there's a huge trade surplus. Except for military equipment, ICT & financial services and agricultural commodities the US has not much to offer.

Even for their national hobby Americans prefer foreign quality products, did you see the Glock 43?

Is a trade deficit bad ? Not necessarily, as it makes the the US market the most wanted.

You and your fellow whiners seem to forget that the US rules many global businesses and markets. Think about the financial markets, the role of firms like Goldman Sachs, Black Rock, State Street Global Advisors, McKinsey Consultancy [to make your businesses thrive globally] , the American military industrial complex as the preferred weapons supplier of many nations and most visible the big Tech firms like Google, Microsoft, Apple, IBM etc etc.

American travellers complain a lot about people smoking in the EU and Japan but the US rules the global tobacco business.

The EU and Japan, to stick to the 'allies', will face losses but the American businesses will lose too as the losing markets will search for alternatives.

US firms using foreign steel and aluminium products that can't be made in the US will face supply chain problems and have to pay higher prices that will be paid by the American consumers.

The US lacks the manufacturing grid, the know-how and skilled workers to make products that are made offshore. It takes years to accomplish that, probably at the time that a retired Melania runs her husbands museum.

To make simple products like a T shirt for the same price you're paying now you need robots to make them so not more but less jobs.

On 'raping America': anticipate by buying vaseline because more will come in for the American consumer :)

2 ( +4 / -2 )

US consumer prices would increase, while the stock markets would decline

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Most large American corporations are on China’s side.

So is Trump with the ZTE deal. Trump favors China too and ZTE is proof.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I see nobody mentions anymore Canada giving US problems; yet the photo of the article is Canadian, lol

So then why is the US giving Canada problems

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Who elected this bafoon?

Uhh, buffoon with respect, not respect for the buffoon but for the unintended error :)

But to answer the question. Surely those with integrity, character and intelligence.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Keep doing what you are doing US. Love to see how you self destruct yourself. You think the world owe you?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Who wants to buy an American junk heap? I do not care how cheap it is, I will not buy it!

1 ( +8 / -7 )

So all of the negotiations failed? they weren't really negotiations to start with , mostly threats. Lets see if Trumps trade war is "easy to win" now. when the WTO rules Trumps tariff illegal as they did to Bush and if that fails then China , EU, Japan, Canada , Mexico can all impose retaliatory tariffs. Those red states in the middle of America will turn into a deserted waste land. This is the best case scenario for America. Thank you Mr Trump.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Globalism and multiculturalism is not good for developed countries

Pretty dumb. All developed countries thrived by globalism. And the strongest economies in the developed world except for Japan are multicultural, no matter what all the nationalist T clowns on this forum wants you to believe :)

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Our allies have been destroying and taking advantage of us

Like the ZTE deal? Trump is helping China.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

What love for Trump over ZTE are you talking about?

President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!

(Trump Tweet)

If they have large trade deficits then I agree

IF? No, they do. It's a fact. The list is here:

Hong Kong, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Australia, Singapore, Chile, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom

Proof Trump is whining. And he's worried about too many jobs lost in China? What's up with that? He's thinking about China first.

and afterward stole land

I understand that Trump voters think that American Indians are horrible people and that Jesus meant the USA to be for white people (and Orange in Trump's case). They think that the US is perfect.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

So then why is the US giving Canada problems

Trump people think this because Trump says so. They believe everything he says.

Racism remains endemic to the American Democrat party

David Duke was a presidential candidate. Also, Dylan Roof is a Trump supporter and white supremacist.

There is proof that Trump wants to block all German car imports into the USA.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Trump the traitor just can't do anything good for others - and he does nothing but offend others. He's just a howling dog that barks all day and night, he won't shut up.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

All those anti Trump/USA/tariffs haven't faced up to the fact America has been at a disadvantaged to Europe/Asia for years products imported into USA from Asia or Europe don't attract the tariffs that American products imported into Europe or Asia. America has trade deficits with a number of Asian and European so America taking action to protect its markets will affect those countries more than its home market.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

America has trade deficits with a number of Asian and European

Nothing special about that. Lost of countries have trade deficits with the US such as Singapore and Australia. And again, why is Trump helping out ZTE so much? Some golden showers going on in China?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

After WWII America used its large market to lift up the economies of European nations. During the Cold War, trade was used to buttress containment of Communist regimes and to reward nations that chose to resist them. Western nations are no longer devastated by war and the Cold War is long over.

The US is long past immune from fierce economic competition from other nations. China has a $375 billion trade surplus. China imposes a 25% tariff on US autos while the US tariff is just 2%. That represents jobs and wealth transferred to a hostile communist regime who have been restricting their own market, forcing foreign companies to hand over their business secrets and technology over to their government all while stealing from US based companies and engaging in cyberwarfare against Western governments.

It is long past time for the global trade framework to be equalized to treat all nations and all products the same. China, Japan, Germany, and Mexico are trying furiously to protect a trade advantage and are crying their eyes out over the possibility of losing their privileged trade status. America’s economy is booming and unemployment is at near historic lows. America’s trade competitors have far more to lose than the US.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Japan also has to do it, but not with this Abe govt. claiming WTO regulations that won't work, too much approach to Trump for nothing, to resolve this tariffs. At the same time Japanese companies invest to USA company, like Softbank will join GM, to pay less taxation in Japan. How much Japan will lose in this trade battle? All of that started from a single-man-supremacy to increase next budget to finish the great-wall with Mexico and military-power he wants double of this current one: The strongest in the world.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

It is long past time for the global trade framework to be equalized to treat all nations and all products the same

Then Singapore and Australia should have a lot of complaints then with their trade deficit with the US.

forcing foreign companies to hand over their business secrets and technology over to their government

Then why all the Trump love over ZTE? Trump is betraying the US over that. Trump favors a Chinese company over American companies. Read his tweet as he effectively says he is worried about lost jobs in China.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

zichi: Over 146,000 Americans will lose their jobs because of Trump’s trade tariffs

Millions of jobs have been created under the Trump administration. Unemployment is a mere 3.8%. Wages are rising. Most large American corporations are on China’s side. Establishment Republicans and Dems are again on the side of big business. I guess they think there are not enough WalMarts with cheap prison labor products wiping out local businesses in small towns in flyover states.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

nishikat: Then Singapore and Australia should have a lot of complaints then with their trade deficit with the US.

If they have large trade deficits then I agree, these two nations should seek to better manage their trade with the US.

Then why all the Trump love over ZTE?

What love for Trump over ZTE are you talking about? No one here is cheering ZTE. As of right now, Trump has not changed government policy with respect to ZTE either. I do know that he has engaged China in trade talks and is sending signals to the Chinese as a part of these talks. Due to their overriding hatred of Trump the Left is as usual reading into things assuming the worst.

So is Trump with the ZTE deal. Trump favors China too and ZTE is proof.

So saying “Make America Great Again” means Make ‘x-country’ Great Again to a Trump hater?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Can anybody name 1 thing that Canada does to restrict US imports?

The US already gets Canadian oil at a big discount - that's why Canada wants to create an oil pipeline to the Pacific Coast so they can sell oil to other countries at market prices

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

IF? No, they do. It's a fact. The list is here:

I am trying to agree with you- I don’t think it’s necessary to argue the point. If the US is taking advantage of these countries they should stick up for themselves.

I understand that Trump voters think that American Indians are horrible people and that Jesus meant the USA to be for white people (and Orange in Trump's case). They think that the US is perfect.

I haven’t the slightest idea what Trump voters think about American Indians. There are all different types of people that voted for Trump - a notable number of which were former Obama voters. Some of them American Indians. I see all Americans as neither better or worse than any other citizen. America is for any lawful citizen who is willing to work for themselves and their community. It is the Left that differentiates by race and assigns oppressed and privileged status based solely on the color of ones skin. Racism remains endemic to the American Democrat party and has been since it’s inception.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

The not that smart T clowns and some UK knights barking again about issues they can't comprehend. So let it come :)

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

yurootani: please update your constitution and kick out america bases and take care of china and north korea yourselves. Please im begging you.

As for steel and aluminum: do you folks realize that americas steel industry has almost collapsed because of unfair trade in the steel market. Trump is doing what is right for american steel. Hes right; if you dont have a steel industry, you dont have a country.

America doesnt expect the world owes us anything; its actually the other way around and is exactly why we got out of the paris accord alone with other horrible deals that absolutely take advantage of America’s wealth. Hence, the free ride is over. Keep melting down; its entertaining!

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

China’s steel overcapacity has long been a serious problem acknowledged by everyone, driving down global prices and putting steelworkers out of work in competing nations.

The globalists, multinationals and “free-traders” should have demanded action long ago, instead of just shrugging in fear of angering Beijing. Now, they are paying the price of their complacency.

-7 ( +7 / -14 )

“President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!”

I never defended any deal between ZTE and the US. I don’t trust China and I get it why Trump is doing it, but I’m not at all comfortable with it.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

He's destroying relations with US allies,

Our allies have been destroying and taking advantage of us.

he's tearing his own nation apart,

No, the nation was torn apart by the last President where one group of people thought they had a green light to do anything they wanted with impunity and leave another group to rot. Overused the race card, made race a driving factor for everything saturated the nation with gender and identity politics, making free speech corrosive and on and on...

he's building up the establishment worse than ever with his cronyism and nepotism. Not to mention the mess he's stirring up in the Middle East.

And so did the other Presidents, maybe not as in your face, but to a degree.

But like lemmings, his followers will follow him, yea, into the abyss.

Funny, when liberals talk, they utter the exact same talking points you hear in the news of the day driving the liberal obsessed narrative.

Cripes. It's actually scary that some people refuse to see what a disaster this man is. And how he's screwing your future.

I think it’s funny how people panic because they’re so afraid their progressive vegan world is coming apart at the seams, but of course they don’t get it. Oh, that socialism dream pocket is evaporating quickly.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Who elected this bafoon?

About 63 million proud Americans.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Most racists and bigots don't even realise they are as such, nor can they do anything but get defensive when called out, such as Roseanne, and Trump himself.

But Trump is not one of them. He didn’t tell Roseanne to open her big mouth. She did that all on her own, now ABC does need to take some responsibility for this. They knew what they were getting when they hired her, it’s not like....OMG. When she said what she said, I was like...typical. I was surprised that everyone else was surprised by her rant.

They would never try to be rationale, moral, or open-minded, because in their minds, despite glaring evidence to the contrary, they feel they are doing nothing wrong.

You mean like Sharpton, Maher, Bee, Baldwin, Reid, Behar....and so, so many more, but yes, I agree with you, they feel they are doing nothing wrong and get away with it as well.

But you know people who always make such claims feel it deep down, that's why Trump is so insecure he hate watches the news and then tweets love for FOX and Friends (not news) because they stroke his ego instead of feeding him the truth, and makes everything -- be it at a ceremony for war dead, or Roseanne's racist tweets, about him and his constant need for self-edification.

Sometimes I wonder when liberals start of with “he thinks, she thinks” it usually means, they are assuming, guessing, surmising, but they don’t know, because if they did, they wouldn’t have lost 1000 legislative seats and can never fully hold on to power for too long.

I love how you say this, and then when it's pointed out to you that he is hiring MORE "establishment" and not "draining the swamp" at all, you say, "Well, why would he?

Yes, if Dems give his nominees a hard time, then he has to do with what is available to him, so I guess you guys are fine with it since you block everyone else, makes sense to me.

It makes sense to hire people with experience!" or when he flubs yet again you say, "Well, he's new at this... it's natural to make mistakes!" *

Like the ACA website designed by perfect millennials that broke down and messed up the entire system, that’s just one of the more beautiful mistakes they made over the 8 years, not including the apology tour and appeasement talk.

No, he's the biggest disaster to ever hit your nation. Period.

No, he’s not, period. He has just saved the country from falling off the cliff and to add to that, I’m happy to see conservatives in California finally waking up to all this liberal cesspool madness, fighting back. Like Chuck Mangione said, “it feels so good!”

You'll be saying the same thing once he's gone, probably with a new handle. Same as you called him a lunatic one minute and a god the next.

Not me, that’s for darn sure.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Allies! This is why there are huge trade surpluses in there favor.

Their unfair trade game is over. What President Trump is asking for is a fair playing field for free trade. America needs to negotiate one on one bilateral trade agreements with these countries. This they refuse to do as now they have trade with America in control with their one-sided unfair trade. It is time for a change. If tariffs are the only way to accomplish this, so be it! They cannot afford a trade war with America. There is nothing that America cannot manufacture. America can raise enough agricultural products to feed America and much of the world.

Again, all President Trump is truly asking for is - FREE TRADE!

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

The real target is China, not Canada or EU. I'm loving it !

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

Called a type-o. I originally intended baboon, but given the recent racist comments Barr and Trump support of racism....

You are joking, right? Who did ABC just hire? Keith Olbermann, the grandfather of all insults, the man who made a name for himself by calling Bush every name in the book with his former show Countdown, interesting...Igor fires Barr for making a racist statement and what do they do, go around and hire another racist. Liberals are funny. Hey, why does Joy Reid still have a show or Sharpton for that matter. Why is it ok to keep liberal racists or the ones that hate Trump, but fire the ones that support Trump?

You might want to check yo grammar yo-self. No one likes a spelling or grammar detective who uses that for ad hominem attacks.

Gosh, now liberals hate it when they get caught doing the same to conservatives. I just can't stop laughing.

Sometime back, I flirted with the idea of becoming a right-wing American citizen, for a lark. But it's very costly and detrimental to the good of the planet. The lobotomy procedure alone, would set you back thousands.

I never even contemplated on trying to be a left wing...lost soul.

This madness will affect the US, in the long term. Not just its workers but it's standing in the word (already taken serious blows since Trump came along) and its credibility.

More power to the President for taking a wrecking ball to the establishment and smashing it to pieces.

I'd like to pretend that I don't care, but I do. Why is the Trump administration doing this? Why is Trump determined to bury his country and his own people?

The long term legacy of this disasterous man and his "politics" is almost unthinkable

Actually, he’s trying to excavate it from a long and disastrous 8 years.

About 63 million proud Americans.

And growing day by day, look at California.

Trump is focusing on small potatoes to stoke his nationalistic base.

Well, at least someone is finally caring about America and Americans and the American worker, finally, yes, it does help grow his base and it’s time that we have someone that wants fair trade and NOT trade where our allies only benefit?

He doesn't want to focus on the real trade problem, China.

He does, he has and he will.

In fact, China is now using Trump against the American public and national security. Great job China.

I think you give the American people not enough credit, if they can smell a witch hunt, they can China their tactical mind Grames they are playing.

Globalism and multiculturalism is not good for developed countries, just good for authoritarian states like China.  Well done Mr Trump.

Let's dance then.

We'll see how happy american workers are when they start losing their jobs.

Yes and the rest of the world have to pay more, but I forget, they don't care about spending, spending, spending, spending....

Great, let them retaliate. The free ride is over!

Amen to that, about time.

Totally agree, we are tired of the world taking advantage of us

Me Levy, because the US is the world’s growth engine and its largest economy-that’s why!

Finally, jobs for US workers.

President Trump is keeping his promises.....
