he and musk could get rid of half and still not make a dent on the budget.
it’s a distraction from the undeniable fact that the budget is a top line problem.
the top 0.1%, 1% and corporations are getting trillions of dollars of government tax subsidies, while the 99% is getting screwed as they chase 1% of the budget for sound bites.
evil monsters trying to create financial hardship because the 1% always increase wealth in bad times while the 99% suffer. cult followers are always too blinded to see what’s going on.
no different than jim jones, mega church pastors and aum shinrikyo.

Screwing people out of their livelihoods isn't just as simple as, "we make mistakes."

Not true.
And the deficit and even bigger problem
Here we go again. I think at this point, that lib narrative people tuned out, especially given the fact what Musk found at how the Dems were wasting our money for decades. If I were a Democrat (thankfully, I’m not) I would do what Schumer did, back off regroup and try to figure a different way to attack Trump and to redo my party, because as of right now, the Dems pretty much destroyed their party, there’s no doubt about that.
Ok, so libs think that poor people create jobs and the government sector? Wow! I rest my case about this party. Lord have mercy…

Hmmmmm.....
Trump INCREASED the deficit by $7.9 TRILLION during his last term...
And his budget bill passed this week has an INCREASE in the debt limit...
Looks like he's making your "bigger problem" even worse...
ROFL...

Blame Covid
So we should keep things the way they are and not ween ourselves off the Federal government?
Libs and the swamp economists and their understanding of economics

Even if you are of the mindset that a significant percentage of government jobs needs to be cut, why go about it in such a sloppy way? Why not be methodical and include Congress, which is currently controlled by MAGA loyalists?
The answer is that “efficiency” is not the main goal here. It’s essentially the Trump administration testing out how far it can exert power over (i.e. control) the two other branches of government.
It’s a move toward dictatorship, something MAGA Republicans seem quite eager for. Just the other day one of our prolific MAGA posters admitted that he’d take fascism if it benefitted him financially.

Yes by upgrading new military fighter jets, don't forget how many young airmen passed out riding the old junk the same their grandfathers flew. If that's what you call increasing the deficit by $7.9 trillions please be my guest.

COVID signed the bills increasing the deficit? Did they use a black sharpie? ROFL...
Uh, read it again - his bill INCREASES the debt limit - not REDUCE it...
Why is he INCREASING the deficit again?
MAGA-world and their denial of reality...of Trump increasing the deficit last time and doing the same thing again now - but they think that's a "big problem"...
LMAO...

The main photo is quite classic! That agency was out of control.
Bottom photo is a few scattered people in the park just of Russian Hill area.

That’s a new one. Trump’s deficit was caused by him replacing our grandpas’ P-51 Mustangs with F-35 Lightnings.
I thought Covid was the reason? Nancy Pelosi?

Yawn. Violation of their oath of office. Impeach and try all those responsible for dereliction of duty for violating US law and the Constitution.
Reducing the US deficit is important. How that happens is also important.

I have no great love or like for Trump, he is attacking my country of birth and my adopted country of Japan with his tariffs and crazy plans.
But when I see government workers having a meltdown because they are asked to put in an email "5 things they did the previous week" and acting like this is an insane request, I lose all sympathy for them.
They live in a bubble a fantasy world.
My brother, my wife, my daughter, many friends, have to give a DAILY account of their work that day or the previous day.
Today many corporations from the 20 employees small business to the 20,000 employees corporation have long had cloud based progress or activity report forms that are required to be filled in daily.
By jumping up and down over being asked for 5 things in the past week, these government workers just made themselves look completely out of touch with the rest of the population.
Just think what the corporate office worker that is required to do this daily must think.

trump and musk are making no efforts to hold billionaires responsible for paying their share of taxes, which would generate 1.5 trillion. They would rather fire the middle class that actually pays their taxes first.
Most corrupt govt in American history.

Exactly, the problem with bloated government employees everything is guaranteed, salary, benefits, retirement creating a sense of entitlement.

Kind of makes one wonder why these alleged 7.9 trillion dollar fighter jets aren’t getting mentioned by DOGE. Guess they are too busy trying to find savings by firing park rangers and scientists one by one.

there is nothing cult members wouldn’t rationalize in support of their dear leader, no matter how unspeakable. it could be a felony or even a sex offender conviction by juries.
