Yawn...

The shock jock tactics have had their day he's peaked.

The same insane base isn't going to grow. They're just going to get angrier.

Bush's come-back will be interesting to watch as he attacks the wig-toting monster. My money is still on Jeb! for the Asylum nominee.

Nah - Bush's negatives within the GOP are too big. I'm still betting on Kasich.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Kasich doesn't seem insane enough. Or am I missing something Laguna?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

That's his magic - he doesn't seem insane, but look beneath the surface and his insanity is sufficient. Even his one major break with GOP purity - expanding Medicaid in Ohio - was done out of Christian belief. And a grand jury declining yesterday to indict anyone in the shooting of Tamir Rice lands in a sweet spot for him: he can simultaneously work to be a symbol of racial unity while dog-whistling that the system works as planned. Good days ahead for him, at least through the primaries.

blasting her husband Bill’s “terrible record” with women.

How much lower can the Republican electioneering go? Will Trump come clean about his affairs and three marriages? Will he admit to calling women all the nasty names he's used over the years?

Bush's come-back will be interesting to watch

It might be that Jeb?bra will be the only marginally sane one left in the Republican pack. Scary thought. Which oil producing nation does his family want to invade next?

Interesting.

I enjoyed Trump's recent flip-flop on minimum wage. Kind of strange to see Trump now using Bernie's talking points. JT might get round to an article on it in a week or so.

I wonder if Trump's fundie base actually see these things happening through the chemical imbalance.

Now don't you Republicans worry about this too much. You go right ahead and vote early and often for Trump in the primaries!

signed, a Democrat who is counting on you.

@ptownsend... Think about Nigeria and Guinea.

Trump has definitely won over half of Republicans at least -- the party is long known as containing racist, sexist bigots to bind it together -- but none of what Trump is selling will be bought in the election for president. Welcome Democrats, once again, to the White House in 2016. Unless of course Donald, who wants to build a wall, get rid of all immigrants, has spouted blatant racism towards neighbours in the south, and who has constantly ripped people of Latin American descent, can get the majority of the Latin American vote. hahaha.

Sorry Bill the chickens have come home to roost. It may be a better idea not to campaign with your...wife

A bit of biographical information for perspective:

Bill Clinton, born to a traveling salesman who died in an automobile accident three months before he was born, has been married to Hillary Rodham, whose father was a successful small-business owner in Illinois, since 1975. Together, they have one child, a daughter, Chelsea.

Donald Trump, born to a New York City real estate speculator and the the recipient of some $400 million of his father's fortune, married model Ivana Zelníčková, a native of the Czech Republic, in 1977. Together they have three children. Ivana Trump became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1988, with Trump at her side. By early 1990, Trump's troubled marriage to Ivana and long-running affair with actress Marla Maples had become widely documented in the tabloid press, and the couple divorced in 1991.Trump married Maples on December 21, 1993, two months after the birth of their child. They divorced on June 8, 1999. Trump dated model Kara Young in the mid to late 1990s, and reportedly "bombarded" Princess Diana with expensive floral arrangements after her 1996 divorce from Prince Charles."I only have one regret in the women department – that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer", Trump wrote in his 1997 book, The Art of the Comeback. In 1998, Trump met and began courting fashion model Melania Knauss, a native of Slovenia. After becoming engaged on April 26, 2004, they were married on January 22, 2005. In 2006, Melania became a naturalized U.S. citizen. That same year, she gave birth to a boy, Trump's fifth child.

There's also the allegations made by Ivana that Trump raped her on at least one occasion.

Trump apparently in his defence claimed it isn't possible to rape someone if they're your spouse.

This guy is the poster child of the monster born from Affluenza.

Although he is entertaining i'll grant...

Of course, Trump's claim "I only have one regret in the women department" was back in 1997. Earlier this year, he commented on his daughter, Ivanka:

Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father . . . .

Back in 2006, asked how he would feel if Ivanka posed for Playboy, he noted,

It would be really disappointing — not really — but it would depend on what’s inside the magazine. I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.

And in 2003 he gushed,

You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body. She made a lot money as a model—a tremendous amount.

So it appears that he does, in fact, have more than one regret in the "women department."

Bill Clinton is pretty much bulletproof at this point. Good luck.

Anyway, senators have an historical disadvantage being nominated, which plays against Rubio and Cruz. Kasich and Christie are the only two governors in the race (aside from former Fl. Gov. Bush - what has he been doing recently, by the way?), and to paraphrase Trump's comment about Fiorina's face, "Look at that (really fat body)!. Would anyone vote for that?"

So: Kasich.

@Laguna

I'm still betting on Kasich.

Cruz is running on the war(mongering) card so, with all the sabre rattling, my money would be on Cruz, if gambling were allowed in Japan. http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/us-politics/us-presidential-election-2016/winner One can get 10 to 1 on Cruz, which would almost seem like an investment rather than a flutter. Kasich is a 100 to 1. Do you know something that the betting shops don't?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Betting shops are an amalgamation of the current zeitgeist. They might as well be betting on the weather in Iowa this February. Compared with Bush's negative favorability among likely GOP primary voters of 54%, Cruz is at 41% and Rubio is at 36%. - and that's a lot of people who will never vote for them. Kasich, though, is only at 31% unfavorable - and undecided is at about 50%. It's a hell of a lot easier to persuade someone to like something they have no opinion of than to make them change a previously held opinion.

The fact that he's still at the adults' table at the debates says much. Add to that his position as governor of Ohio (having produced close to 20% of US presidents to date) and his acceptability to both the radical and establishment factions of the GOP and he's in an unacknowledged but very strong position. Assuming, of course, that Trump implodes - if not, all bets are off.

Madverts: "Trump apparently in his defence claimed it isn't possible to rape someone if they're your spouse."

Ironically -- well, if you're not a moron, which Trump of course is -- radical Islam preaches that exact thing. Guess he's closer to it than he'd like to admit.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

"Bill Clinton"

What an embarrassment to the United States of America this man was.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Looks like Trumpateers following his lead in smearing people reading these.

So much support for the Clintons also. Both Bill and Hillary are proven liars and you respect that?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

There's also the allegations made by Ivana that Trump raped her on at least one occasion.

And she also said, that the story was taken out of context, so now what are what are we supposed to believe?

Trump apparently in his defence claimed it isn't possible to rape someone if they're your spouse.

All politicians say a lot of looney things in their careers, If we go by that alone, Hillary and Obama should be locked up in state prison.

This guy is the poster child of the monster born from Affluenza.

I think Obama would be a better choice.

Although he is entertaining i'll grant...

I would also tend to agree with that.

How much lower can the Republican electioneering go? Will Trump come clean about his affairs and three marriages? Will he admit to calling women all the nasty names he's used over the years.

I feel the same about Hillary. When will she came clean about her involvement with Benghazi? As for Trump, I will say this, if he had three marriages or affairs, "what difference does it make?" (Oh, the irony) how many politicians have said nasty things? Both sides have done it, this is not a partisan issue.

It might be that Jeb?bra will be the only marginally sane one left in the Republican pack. Scary thought. Which oil producing nation does his family want to invade next.

Seriously? You guys try so very hard, I'll give you credit for that.

"Sunday interview on Fox News Trump declared Bill Clinton “fair game, . . ."

Isn't everything fair game. Mexicans, Women, Muslims, Prejudice, Bigotry, Racism, an Idiotic Trump Wall?

All Trump can do is whine like a school-boy bully.

How tiresome.

It was fun, especially when his fans were attacking protesters, one shouting "Burn Him!", as four of Trump's security goons push the man to the floor.

Now? Who's Bill Clinton? Does he have a talk show or something? Jeezz, it would be nice Trump did something besides slobber a "litany of everything he hates so much".

Only thing funnier is what a huge empty suit the Republican Party has become.

The Party of Lincoln? Yeah, with Trump leading the charge? Is that ironic?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Trump is driving away older female working class women with these attacks.

Good for Team Dem!

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

I feel the same about Hillary. When will she came clean about her involvement with Benghazi?

Yeah! And why didn't the Iraqi's come clean about the WMDs?!?!

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Yeah! And why didn't the Iraqi's come clean about the WMDs?!?!

Ask Assad.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Ask Assad.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Otherwise, please explain.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

@Laguna

Posting autobiographical info of a guy with a humble background and one with a privileged one doesn't prove anything, least of all as it pertains to rape.

The number of officially-recorded sexual harrassment / rape allegations against Clinton are numerous and a matter of public record

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

That makes no sense whatsoever. Otherwise, please explain.

Seriously? Come on now.....

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Seriously? Come on now.....

Oh, right. You must mean that Saddam gave all the WMDs to Assad. Makes perfect sense. My bad.

I forgot that you were in Iraq and were the trusted ear of top military intelligence sources.
