Under his "America First" banner, Trump has portrayed China as the greatest threat to the United States and global democracy.

The reality is Trump himself is the greatest 'homegrown' threat to the US republic, US and global democracy.

Donald Trump spent years cultivating business projects in China, where he maintained a previously unknown bank account, The New York Times reported Tuesday, as the U.S. president attempts to portray election rival Joe Biden as weaker on Beijing.

BINGO!

Trump has spent recent days promoting a murky claim that Biden's son Hunter sold access to his father in Ukraine and China when he was vice president under Barack Obama.

Murky? That's being kind - its being pushed by a guy already arrested and out on bail for fraud (Bannon) and a guy that is currently under DOJ investigation for illegally representing a foreign government (Giuliani)

It is Trump, however, who maintained an office in China during his first run for president, and partnered with a major government-controlled company, the Times reported.

That makes sense - he has to pay the CCP millions for making his Trump Collection clothing line in their sweatshops.

The tax records show the company "paid $188,561 in taxes in China while pursuing licensing deals there from 2013 to 2015," the Times reported.

So now it's confirmed - Trump paid thousands more in tax to China than he did to his own country....helping them make missiles that they then aim at us and our allies... Traitor?

Even so, in 2008 Trump attempted an ultimately unsuccessful office tower project in Guangzhou, and in 2012 he opened a Shanghai office, the Times said.

Fits the pattern - Trump Tower Moscow?

Donald Trump - Beijing's best friend and business partner ever...

Everything about trump is projection, if he's accusing someone of illegally making money from foreign interests, you can bet he has done it.

Now one also understands why he doesn't want to release his returns, what will come out of it will stink forever!!!

just like a meeting not being on the "official schedule" doesnt mean at all that there wasnt a meeting.

So the super secret bank account was found......listed in his illegally obtained tax records. who did those come from again? anonymous source?

Strange place to hide a secret account, in your tax records, along with the amount of tax you paid. It also becomes less secret when you have the same type of account in England and Ireland too.

Hmmm...nice try, but it didn’t happen during his presidency so what do the Democrats have again, nothing. Whereas with the Biden’s they enriched themselves during while old Joe was VP, but I get it, they want to talk about his passion for vanilla flavor ice cream

Trump records show Chinese business pursuits and bank account

So what, he was a businessman long before a politician. The issue is Vice President Biden was getting kickbacks from the Chinese Government while he was in office. The issue is his son used his father to fatten up the bank accounts of the Biden family tree. The issue is Sleepy Joe Biden lied to the world when he said he knew nothing about his son's business dealings with China. Look at all the dirt the Left has come up with over 3 short years trying to destroy Trump's Presidency,( and most liked him before he became President ) The issue is a 47-year corrupt politician that is Joe Biden who wants to be your new commander in chief. This corruption is only the tip of the iceberg. Imagine diving deeper into his 47-year abyss.

None is this is from the article, which clearly states, “a previously unknown bank account ,” instead of a “secret” bank account.

I’m sure that doesn’t matter to you. You also seem to think that because Trump reported this account on his taxes, he’s not a complete hypocrite for doing business with China.

You just have zero credible evidence that the Bidens enriched themselves whilst Joe was VP.

Makes complete sense to pillory the Bidens based on unsubstantiated claims whilst excusing Trump for being a documented liar and hypocrite.

Meh.  Article shows little understanding of how business is done in China.  You have to have a local bank account if you want to do any onshore business there.  By law.

Having business and an account is also so what?  Hw was a businessman.  If this was before he was voted in then no comparison with the Bidens poor judgment and behavior.

And he clearly hasn't been soft on China since being elected (nor Russia for that matter).  So this is just typical media obfuscation and misdirection.

Fact is Biden still hasn't denied or answered or anything.  The truth will eventually out and my guess is it won't be pretty.

Unlike these vague and silly "allegations".

because the media edited the headlines after the fact when they realized how stupid calling it a "secret" account was.

earlier today CNN used "secret bank account", many others are still available on Google.

instead of a “secret” bank account.

謝謝 very much, baby.

Don't forget to flush.

So you just have vague and silly accusations too then? Oh, and your ‘guess’.

Must be one of the advantages of following the left and right media bubbles.

Emails directly given from his business partner. Again, not “alleged”.

Emails directly given from his business partner. Again, not “alleged”.

Emails from an imprisoned felon that have not been verified by anyone. That’s unimpeachable evidence because nobody could manufacture emails. Lmao!!!

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Trump's idea of a takeaway!

6 ( +8 / -2 )

You left out imprisoned felon because of business deals that included Hunter Biden and Hunter’s other business partner (also on his way to prison).

easy to verify when you are the actual recipient of the mails to the Email address under your name that you control.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

but yeah the Trump organization has a Chinese (and British and Irish) bank account. Listed on his illegally leaked taxes. Big deal.

You have allegations from unverified emails that were illegally obtained.

Faux news has (checks notes) ZERO journalism awards for reporting or commentary. No pulitzers, No Murrow’s no peabodies. Zip Zilch Nada Nil.

They are a PR arm masquerading as a news org. Their journalists regularly worry that they are stuck because they have Faux on their CV.

As for the bank, it was not listed on the required disclosure forms and as we know Trump refuses to release the taxes because they’re “under audit” (yeah, right....) So by definition, it was secret as in unknown.

Which bank? We don’t know? How much money flowed through? We don’t know. Did the Chinese leverage it to control Trump? We don’t know.

But yeah, let’s continue to obsess over an obvious Russian plant 2 weeks from the election that Trump is losing. Out of cash Out of ideas. Out of time. Go to the scandal.

disclosure form of personal accounts. Where it wouldn’t be cause it’s a corporate account.

required disclosure forms

Who knows? I don’t want to speculate...

No? What about "Seems like they will"?

(liberals love doing that) but...

You haven't seen any of the "TRUMP-PENCE 2020 LANDSLIDE!" stuff?

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Trump first is his only policy. What a hypocrite. What a criminal. What an idiot. Amazing that even 10% of people in the US like and/or support Trump. One messed up country that has become so much more messed up the past 4 years largely thanks to this imposter pretending to be POTUS.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Articles like this make me want to go out and vote for Trump even more. Trump Pence 2020. Keep the smear articles coming. I love’em.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Trump paid plenty of taxes then.

Just not in the USA.

There's no wonder America is broke.

It’s a bit more than that. I think most of the Trump hate comes from non-Americans who won’t have a say this November. I think the America first policy rubs them the wrong way. At home, Trump is packing the crowds in at the rallies despite COVID-19. No one shows up for Joe. Every state Trump goes to he packs them in. No one goes to see Joe even though he’s offering higher taxes and everything free for illegal immigrants. The proof is in the article. This reporter and the NYT have become totally unhinged since Trump was never supposed to win office but did anyway. Another desperate article aimed to persuade people like me to vote for Joe Hiden. It’s riddled with current commander in chief insanity disorder. I’ll vote for the orange one this November which is really a vote for red, white and blue.

Incorrect!

This says a lot more though!

It is Trump, however, who maintained an office in China during his first run for president, and partnered with a major government-controlled company

But since Trump seems to be a government-controlled (CCP, that is) president then it makes perfect sense.

He knows he’s losing the race and with nothing else he is resorting to scandals, not to help himself but to try and damage his opponent.

Lock him up! Lock him up!
