Under his "America First" banner, Trump has portrayed China as the greatest threat to the United States and global democracy.

The reality is Trump himself is the greatest 'homegrown' threat to the US republic, US and global democracy.

Donald Trump spent years cultivating business projects in China, where he maintained a previously unknown bank account, The New York Times reported Tuesday, as the U.S. president attempts to portray election rival Joe Biden as weaker on Beijing.

Trump has spent recent days promoting a murky claim that Biden's son Hunter sold access to his father in Ukraine and China when he was vice president under Barack Obama.

Murky? That's being kind - its being pushed by a guy already arrested and out on bail for fraud (Bannon) and a guy that is currently under DOJ investigation for illegally representing a foreign government (Giuliani)

It is Trump, however, who maintained an office in China during his first run for president, and partnered with a major government-controlled company, the Times reported.

That makes sense - he has to pay the CCP millions for making his Trump Collection clothing line in their sweatshops.

The tax records show the company "paid $188,561 in taxes in China while pursuing licensing deals there from 2013 to 2015," the Times reported.

So now it's confirmed - Trump paid thousands more in tax to China than he did to his own country....helping them make missiles that they then aim at us and our allies... Traitor?

Even so, in 2008 Trump attempted an ultimately unsuccessful office tower project in Guangzhou, and in 2012 he opened a Shanghai office, the Times said.

Strange place to hide a secret account, in your tax records, along with the amount of tax you paid. It also becomes less secret when you have the same type of account in England and Ireland too.

So what, he was a businessman long before a politician. The issue is Vice President Biden was getting kickbacks from the Chinese Government while he was in office. The issue is his son used his father to fatten up the bank accounts of the Biden family tree. The issue is Sleepy Joe Biden lied to the world when he said he knew nothing about his son's business dealings with China. Look at all the dirt the Left has come up with over 3 short years trying to destroy Trump's Presidency,( and most liked him before he became President ) The issue is a 47-year corrupt politician that is Joe Biden who wants to be your new commander in chief. This corruption is only the tip of the iceberg. Imagine diving deeper into his 47-year abyss.

Meh.  Article shows little understanding of how business is done in China.  You have to have a local bank account if you want to do any onshore business there.  By law. 

Having business and an account is also so what?  Hw was a businessman.  If this was before he was voted in then no comparison with the Bidens poor judgment and behavior.

And he clearly hasn't been soft on China since being elected (nor Russia for that matter).  So this is just typical media obfuscation and misdirection.

Fact is Biden still hasn't denied or answered or anything.  The truth will eventually out and my guess is it won't be pretty.

As for the bank, it was not listed on the required disclosure forms and as we know Trump refuses to release the taxes because they’re “under audit” (yeah, right....) So by definition, it was secret as in unknown.

Which bank? We don’t know? How much money flowed through? We don’t know. Did the Chinese leverage it to control Trump? We don’t know.

But yeah, let’s continue to obsess over an obvious Russian plant 2 weeks from the election that Trump is losing. Out of cash Out of ideas. Out of time. Go to the scandal.
