That was a spectacular mistake by Trump. He completely hit all the wrong notes in that tweet, very different from his usual standard. Was he drunk?
That is BS though. If the worst comes to the worst, I prefer things to be blow up rather than people. And the terrorist organization like Al Quoz do not give a hoot about legalalities.

“I like to obey the law.” Dude’s a comic genius trolling us all. Funny like corruption and betrayal and war and assassination. I wanna be funny like that too. Hey, he and his family should be Romanov’ed. That way they’d all get the royal Russian family treatment that you know he’d just dig. Nobody is serious anymore, we’re all just spinning along in our own comic genius worlds. Dudes, I’m just kidding. But he’s not. He’s a great, inspirational president who gets his jollies obeying the law. Really.

This narcopath need to be dethroned ASAP for all of our sakes.

I think Trump should just back off the cultural sites a bit, everyone else, fair game. Now would the Iranians do and honor the same...nope, but being the PC culture that we have become it’s probably better this way.

Interesting that Trump backed down after hearing the Iranians were looking at his properties, including Mar-a-lago.
The Iranians, too must think Trump values his properties above all else. He has shown he cares most about his family businesses and his fellow rich. Does anyone know how much richer the Jared/Ivanka/Trump Syndicate has got since the latest bombing? Has anyone seen Trump's most current tax info?

Donny retreats. It happens every time he opens his mouth. He shoots off and then has to backtrack. Trumpophiles love it.

This speaks volumes.

Yeah, sure...

Loser.

It's laughable that the US government which is literally starving and killing Iranians with its sanctions now profess concern for Iranians and their culture. If Pompeo and Trump cared so much for Iranians they wouldn't have done so much damage to them that even the most vocal of the IRI's critics are rallying around Ayatollah Khamenei and the regime. This administration does not know the meaning of diplomacy, all they care about is war and money.

Might we have a list of these “cultural sites” to review? I am quite sure there are some interesting entries on the list.
how can we know what not to bomb if we aren’t told?

Didn't Iran get enough money from the Obama/Biden administration?

These must be some of those "safe places" I've heard so many Democrats, Hillary-worshippers, and progressives talking about.

24 UNESCO sites just in Iran, didn’t know that. I wonder when is the deadline to submit for more.
CrazyJoe
Yes, 400 million dollars. Less than 5 dollars per Iranian.

Trump will change his tune if the first things attacked are his resorts around the world - then he'll complain why they're attacking non-military targets
The Iranian people were protesting against their government for removing oil subsidies in an oil-rich nation just as winter is coming
What the attack on Soleimani did was take the focus out of that protest and unite the Iranian people
Blacklabel
No 400 million for terrorists. plus the 1.2 billion in “interest” plus any other secret payments hidden from us.
“Iranians“ got nothing.
Jimizo
His usual standard is ill thought out trash.

If you ask me, Trump made an extremely intelligent and intellectually strategic maneuver, right?
...right?

20 or so years ago from Dubai my wife and I were able to spend a week in Iran where we visited Persepolis, Isfehan, Shiraz and also Tehran's museums. Each stunning, among the most impressive sites I've seen anywhere. We were well treated while there; we both felt safer than in any US city.
plasticmonkey
When did "the Iranians" attack cultural sites? Do you have some information on that?
elephant200
His "Retreats" made no difference, he is always and get used to be so "NASTY" !

They kill our people. They blow up our people. And then we have to be very gentle with their cultural institutions?”
Classic subterfuge, when has Iran killed and blown up Americans on US soil? Now if Iran had military based in Mexico and Canada, than those could be fair play for a retaliation of a retaliation.

“They kill our people. They blow up our people. And then we have to be very gentle with their cultural institutions?”
Selling huge sums of weapon and ammunitions to the Saudi Kingdom is a very big gratitude to the one who killed a lot of your people in Sept. 2001! Awesome logic!

Trumo is weak. He fails always. Like the Joke of a wall and no Hillary arrest. What happened to "Lock her up!!!!!"
lincolnman
Yep, and according to the Trumpers, it was delivered to Iran by Bigfoot in a EBE UFO...
Note Donnie isn't saying anything tonight - he said he'll address the nation tomorrow....
That means he has to watch Hannity and Fox and Friends to figure out what he will say...
The Great Orange NEOCON - that's who you voted for Trumpers...your guy...
stormcrow
You Iranians had better not do anything or I'll HUFF and I'll PUFF and I'll BLOWWWW your house DOWN!
Trump is so full of himself.
bass4funk
Well, the Iranians just backed down, smart move.
Ain't it great?!
sunfunbun
No, not at all.
It just means he's a narcissist, and it ain't great.
People who are in love with narcissists buy into the lies and don't realize narcissists think they're Einstein and all others are idiots. When people who love narcissists finally move on, they realize how much happier and stronger they are away from them, but with a gain of perspective and intelligence, tend to berate themselves for believing the lies in the first place.
