The AP is not banned from all press conferences and I'm not sure that is a requirement for Reporters Without Borders.

AP will still be around when Trump is rotting in the ground. It should stand strong on this - it is the thin edge of the wedge.

What's interesting to me is that the White House has taken to filling the press briefing room with yobs to the point where it violates every fire code imaginable. The big outlets are professionals, though, and take it in stride.

That would indeed be good to see, but there's also the chilling effect of the lawsuits. His goal is to flood companies with costly litigation -- whatever the outcome -- so they eventually give up. He wants zero scrutiny, zero oversight.

Watching Trump and musk and others go about destroying the US democratic system give one an insight into exactly how Hitler did the same in Germany in the 1930's.

If you mean distraction from Elon Musk being given access to the financial and other information of essentially every US citizen, from planes crashing all over the place, from Europe being united thanks to the hillbilly and the drunk (not to mention the felon showing us what we already knew about him being a Russian operative), from the price of pretty much everything going up rather than down, from the outbreak of preventable diseases in red states...yeah, we're still reading about those every day, so as a distraction it's about as successful as most of his business ventures were.
