Donald Trump should not concern himself with what Meagan Markle thinks as she has no influence on world events at all.

Some nice verbal gymnastics there, Donny boy.

"I wasn’t referring to she's nasty. I said she was nasty about me. And essentially I didn’t know she was nasty about me," Trump told ITV.

She wasn't being nasty about you, she was just telling the truth about her worries regarding you becoming president!

It's obvious you haven't learned to take criticism, constructive or otherwise, and for a man of your age, you really should be ashamed for even caring about what people think about you and responding.

He has not noticed that recording devices have been invented. Nor that words have meanings.

He’s on tape.

The irony is that, as always, it's trump who is nasty.

A person can be "nice" and "appear" to be nice and kind... but the "intent" and "thoughts" behind it all and some words or actions can be "nasty" in a sense to whom that is directed and not to others that may not see or feel that way. That word is a description of how a person recognizes another person's actions, demeanor and attitude is like.

And to recognize or to call another as being nasty does not make him or her a bad person, either.

So this is another media "hype" to get attention and make an issue which is irrelevant to either party.

She was nasty to him. Her comments were unprovoked and unnecessary. She was simply trying to score cool points with her Hollywood crowd at the time.

No, she wasn't nasty to him. She just said he was a nasty person, which most sane person will admit too. Of course, those living on cloud cuckoo land (or those being paid by the man-child) will beg to differ.

He’s on tape.

No, he's on something else!

Whether you like her comments or not, sharing them is the right of everyone visiting or living in the USA.

In 2016, she wasn't married to Harry, so her public comments were that of a private citizen.

People who are "nasty" to others in public, should probably expect others to be nasty towards them. President Trump has definitely been nasty towards many people over the decades, so he shouldn't be surprised.

"And just remember, what you are seeing and what you are reading is not what's happening."

Why Mr. Trump, or any republican (sic), should give any special weight to the opinion of lower status foreign aristocrats - especially made-to-order ones like Meghan Markle Windsor-Mountbatten - is mystifying.

However, as stated elsewhere here she was just one of us “common” folk at the time she was said to have commented.

Well Trump's problem is that he has no class and often talks down to women. Markle doesn't really have anything to do with that except for triggering him to put it on display again. But in reality it would have come out at some point soon either way with another woman.

When Trump tweets or spouts unprovoked trash, who is he trying to score points with? His base?

Donald Trump short fuse, thin skin, politically is his greatest liability.

Any hint of censure, criticism, retort, toys are lunched skyward, blood pressure undergoes a final prelaunch sequence, fingers poised ready to declare a tweeter account defcon one.

The only course of action once temper tantrums give way to careful consolidation to such angry huff puffs is the humiliating climb down. For Donald Trump nasty becomes nice.

If Donald Trump continues to react, instead of engaging in a manner befitting a "POTUS" he will at risk suffering a stroke or worse.

He is trying to score points with himself, and obviously is pretty damn proud of the fact that he has an audience this size. Dude had a huge ego before getting elected, now it's gotten out of hand!

Honestly, who cares? She doesn’t like him, he doesn’t like her. Let them hash it out. Must be a slow news day for the networks again...sigh....

I thought he was supposed to be inarticulate. Hee hee!
