Trump must have been referring to the dozens of millions of dollars spent on golf outings to one of his resorts with the tabs picked up by taxpayers. Or maybe the costs borne by taxpayers so Ivanka could go to China to negotiate trademarks for the Trump brand name,

Kim demanded, Trump appeased. I'm not sure how he thinks we should believe something other than reality.

We can definitely take Trump's word for it. He has absolutely no credibility (issues).

Tactically and strategically speaking... frequent training can also "expose" vital systems and procedures that can be used against us. Up till recently, China even participated in such training.

When the waters are muddy even with S Korea... that makes sense.

Why show the world what you are good at... when there are potential enemies close by to "take" or "steal" any system, process or information they can get?

It may be better to conduct such frequent training in the future in "secure" territory and occasional ones at "site" for familiarity sake. The point in such exercise is in communication, coordination and cooperation to get "team work".

Yep the Russians and Chinese always shadow us any time these are done. These exercises have served their purpose we have other ways to train now. Huge financial savings thanks to our President.

NK and SK should join as one, and charge USA for its anti China bases.

Trump is right over this issue although he is always making erratic ideas! Mexico and the entire Latinos America is a bigger threat than North Korea, no North Koreans can infiltrates into States or overseas US territories like (Guam,Hawaill)! But the Lations does everyday and they commit much crimes !

Did America ask the South Korean people do they wanna such massive wargames held on their soil targeting their home country? Many South Koreans were former North Koreans before 1950 the Korean war! They have aa consensus of anti war!

Apparently the South Koreans don’t value their national security enough to pay their “fair share” for conducting the exercises. That’s their choice.
