“If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?”

Ha-ha . . . Funny quote. We remember that embarrassing "Monica Lewinskii" episode. Gotta' love US politics.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Megyn Kelly asks him about comments he made and he starts wetting his pants for two days straight. How is this hack going to handle world leaders?

11 ( +13 / -2 )

In real estate, it is all about "location, location, location." In the manufacture of foodstuff, it is all about "shelf space". In politics and elections, it is all about "getting coverage".

Donald is no ordinary politician, so this spectacle works to his advantage. He is a marketer and he knows how to get coverage by the media, so rest assured he will milk this for everything it is worth. Doesn't mean he is a good or qualified candidate, just a statement on his strategy.

That aside, through history there have been politicians that have just been bombastic and most certainly have not been politically correct. Silvio Burlesconi in Italy comes to mind as a prime example.

Him being the number 1 republican candidate (and by a huge margin) shows the state of shambles that party is really in. They'll tear themselves apart long before the election and hand the white house to the dems on a silver platter again.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

It's great. The other contestants don't know whether they should show their true feelings and match his offensiveness, or do the politically correct thing and reign it in. They're afraid that if they match him, they'll offend half of everyone, but if they don't match him, they'll lose to him.

Him running for the republican nomination is the best thing ever. You'd almost think he was a democrat in disguise, flushing out the party to expose it's truths.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

So far, the Donald's outrageousness has only endeared him to a certain segment of the GOP. Whether his recent comments alienate some of his supporters or whether they deepen his support will be interesting to see. Remember, Trump is not a cause but a symptom of the mess the GOP has gotten itself into.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Wanted to watch the debate live, but FOX had total control and were only doing sounds bites during the debate, not a live feed. Still can 't watch the full unedited debate! It won't load here, or it's my computer, but I doubt that. I used to be able to get live feeds from C-SPAN.

American elections have been a totally controlled beauty patent since R. Reagan. Disgusting! and it really pisses me off. Having said that, Trump is a breath of fresh air to this controlled and fixed game show.

Seems not all of the Republicans are behind Trump. It's still a mixed bag. I'm not a Republican nor a Democrat.

So what's more pathetic, that the GOP is still a mixed bag, OR that Hillary has 51% of support? At least the Republicans still have a shred of independent thought unlike the Democrats who are backing Miss Universe.

IDIOCRACY!!!

Doubt it. People have had more than enough of the last 7 years with a disastrous president and disastrous policies.

Trump already lost. Looks like Fiorino, Cruz, Huckabee and Cruz were the biggest winners.

Him running for the republican nomination is the best thing ever.

But he thankfully crashed and burned, turned a lot of people off and is starting to hurt in the polls a bit, hope the trend continues.

You'd almost think he was a democrat in disguise, flushing out the party to expose it's truths.

Which he is, that's why, he waffled on the question about his political donations to the Democratic Party.

What about Cruz?

the wimp couldn't even start any new wars!

And he didn't collapse the economy either. Weak.

Signing this deal with Iran, he sure did.

And he didn't collapse the economy either. Weak.

Ahh, makes sense, his policies helped to create 45 million people on food stamps for 49 months, great economy.

@Bassfunk

Doubt it. People have had more than enough of the last 7 years with a disastrous president and disastrous policies.

I have proven time and time again how way off you are when it comes to American politics...and I will reiterate once again....wrong again Bob!

People may not be satisfied with Obama's performance, but its not for the reason you think. Americans were expecting him to be more progressive and bring in more progressive ideas, but instead he's remained too stoic, or even leaned too much to the right when it came to domestic and economic policies. Americans don't want extremist religious zealots leading the country. This is why the debate yesterday was a massive failure. It exposed how extreme this party really is.

American WANT medicare, universal health insurance, better and more affordable education, less wars, peace with a nuclear-free Iran, immigration reform that makes sense, money out of politics, abortion rights, gay rights, civil rights, religious freedom (and freedom from religion) -all of the values that the republican party are AGAINST or don't care about.

This is why Trump is a laughing stock among most Americans. He vocalizes what the other republican candidates are thinking and want to do, but are afraid to say. Cruz and Huckabee are just as bad if not worse than Trump, because they are just puppets for the super rich. If they get elected, they'll get the US into endless wars, crash the economy, turn it into a more of a corporatist nation than it is now. Schools and government will be governed by churches and the super rich and not by the people.

Trump will eventually crash and burn, but yesterday's debate didn't do it. There are too may crazies like Rush Limbaugh and Roger Ailes who still like him. And as long as these two clowns are on his side, he will still continue to be on top. As soon as he loses their support, then its over.

Ultimately, there is no way Trump will win the nomination, but he will go out with a bang and probably take several others if not the whole party with him. The best thing that the GOP could do right now, is to try to distance themselves as far as they can from the lunatics who are running the GOP, but in my opinion, the GOP is a lost cause. The reasonable right (if they still exist -and I am sure that they still do somewhere) should form a third party, and it should be lead by....Hillary Clinton...yes I said it....Hillary Clinton should lead a party for center-right if they hope to win any elections in the future.

As it stands right now, the dems are posed to win in 2016. Its just a question of whether it'd be Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, or Joe Biden. I hope its Bernie Sanders...he's got TRUE long standing progressive values...but who knows.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

People have had more than enough of the last 7 years with a disastrous president and disastrous policies.

Well, at least a shrinking number of constituents who belong to the status quo think so. Those who think their 'hard work' is worth a few million or more and that those working at Walmart or temp agencies for peanuts are lazy slobs who need to become bankers or stock brokers. Or those working class Republican-leaning serfs unfortunate enough to have been persuaded by Fox News and friends that their woes are caused by 'super high' taxation of their 'job creator' bosses. Tell us again about that supply side economics and the magic it has worked on income inequality.

Looks like Fiorino, Cruz, Huckabee and Cruz were the biggest winners.

That's an objective FACT. I especially agree that both Cruz and Cruz exemplified responsible leadership for the Republic of Texas, er, I mean the United States of America. And it's an objective FACT that Cruz has cooked bacon on the barrel of an assault rifle. He is a true patriot, in a really manly way, and I look forward to hearing his constructive ideas on the issues the modern world is facing.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

I have proven time and time again how way off you are when it comes to American politics...and I will reiterate once again....wrong again Bob!

You have? Seriously? I doubt it.

People may not be satisfied with Obama's performance, but its not for the reason you think.

No, it's for the reasons that I outlined. Remember, there would never be a Trump if we didn't have Obama.

Americans were expecting him to be more progressive and bring in more progressive ideas, but instead he's remained too stoic, or even leaned too much to the right when it came to domestic and economic policies.

That's why people have had enough of progressive political politics.

Americans don't want extremist religious zealots leading the country.

This is true. Conservatives feel the same, so we are in agreement on that point.

This is why the debate yesterday was a massive failure. It exposed how extreme this party really is.

The debate was a failure for Trump, NOT the other candidates.

American WANT medicare, universal health insurance,

Not controlled by the government, the poor perhaps.

better and more affordable education, less wars, peace with a nuclear-free Iran,

Yes and NO to Iran and even now more Democrats are thinking Obama made a bad deal.

immigration reform that makes sense, money out of politics, abortion rights, gay rights, civil rights, religious freedom (and freedom from religion) -all of the values that the republican party are AGAINST or don't care about.

Sorry, the polls have shown, most Americans want the border closed, completely closed. Also both parties don't care about closing the border, this is not a partisan issue.

This is why Trump is a laughing stock among most Americans.

I agree.

He vocalizes what the other republican candidates are thinking and want to do, but are afraid to say. Cruz and Huckabee are just as bad if not worse than Trump,

After yesterday, that is not what the polls are showing maybe the liberal Think Progress crowd and polls do, but the fair MSM not at all.

because they are just puppets for the super rich.

Same goes for the Democratic Party, so what's your point.

If they get elected, they'll get the US into endless wars, crash the economy, turn it into a more of a corporatist nation than it is now. Schools and government will be governed by churches and the super rich and not by the people.

But it's better to have an economy where more people can be on food stamps, low wage growth, stagnant economy, making deals with our enemies, becoming a laughing stock to the rest of the world. A president that doesn't care what the people and voters think, ballots ISIS to grow and expand. Stand by allowing people to be slaughtered like cattle, Really? We really want to go back to that as an alternative?

Trump will eventually crash and burn, but yesterday's debate didn't do it.

I hope so too.

There are too may crazies like Rush Limbaugh and Roger Ailes who still like him.

But Soros is a Saint, right?

And as long as these two clowns are on his side, he will still continue to be on top. As soon as he loses their support, then its over.

So if you Dems have mega donors contributing to Democratic causes, it's ok, but for Conservatives, they are not allowed to do the same? Lol

Both parties are, especially the politicians running.

The reasonable right (if they still exist -and I am sure that they still do somewhere) should form a third party, and it should be lead by....Hillary Clinton...yes I said it....Hillary Clinton should lead a party for center-right if they hope to win any elections in the future.

ROFLMAO

As it stands right now, the dems are posed to win in 2016.

They said the same exact thing in 2010 and 2014 and look what happened.

Its just a question of whether it'd be Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, or Joe Biden. I hope its Bernie Sanders...he's got TRUE long standing progressive values...but who knows.

I hope Bernie is the Democratic nominee as well, he would lose in a heartbeat to the GOP.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

They said the same exact thing in 2010 and 2014 and look what happened.

And look what happened in 2008 and 2012.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Not controlled by the government, the poor perhaps.

We absolutely must prevent poor people from benefitting from their plight. Let's instead feel sorry for the overtaxed rich.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

You have? Seriously? I doubt it.

Yes I have, back in 2012, when you were adamant about Mitt Romney winning the election. Even when he lost Ohio, you still thought he'd win the election despite all facts, historical data, and statistics being against you.

Remember, there would never be a Trump if we didn't have Obama.

What? That makes absolutely NO sense! Trump has been a presidential candidate and a perpetual loser since 2000. He declared that he'd run for president in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and now 2016. Trump is not serious about being president, he's just a big publicity whore who's just trying to sell the Trump brand to the idiots with enough money to buy it, and Obama has NOTHING to do with that. This is why he is talking crap and saying what he wants to say. He has no intent on winning the nomination.

That's why people have had enough of progressive political politics.

This isn't progressive politics; this is democratic politics..there's a difference.

This is true. Conservatives feel the same

um...were you not watching the debate yesterday. Those lunies at Fox dedicated whole section of time to ask the candidates if they had "received word from God"....Not a SINGLE one of them said that politics and religion don't mix. ALL of them talked about how God was speaking to them....how are they NOT religious zealots?

The debate was a failure for Trump, NOT the other candidates.

It was a failure for all of them because it exposed their true nature and their ridiculous policies.

Not controlled by the government, the poor perhaps.

And how is Obamacare "controlled" by the government? You do know that people are still buying health insurance from private insurers right...or maybe you don't. And even so, the GOP has still yet come up with any alternative to Obamacare...all they do is shot repeal repeal repeal and throw a huge hissy fit tantrum over it without any viable plan to replace it. Obama has said time and time again...if you have an alternate plan, then present it..still

maybe the liberal Think Progress crowd and polls do

More like everyone except FoxNews

So if you Dems have mega donors contributing to Democratic causes, it's ok, but for Conservatives, they are not allowed to do the same

No, its not okay for any party. Political donations from any and all superpacs should be completely banned, but remember it was the CONSERVATIVE supreme court that ruled it constitutional, or did you already forget Romney's "corporations are people, my friend." line...He said this because the SCOTUS said it was so. -Citizens United v. FEC

Both parties are, especially the politicians running.

The GOP is on the highway to extremism. If anything, in terms of policies and the political spectrum, the Dems are where the GOP were 30 years ago, and GOP are at the same place extremists groups like ISIS and the Taliban are today.

I hope Bernie is the Democratic nominee as well, he would lose in a heartbeat to the GOP.

yeah, we'll see. It will be a pleasure to tell yo how wrong you are...AGAIN.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Nice post, Mirai, but I disagree with "... Roger Ailes who still like him. " It's pretty clear from the way Fox attacked Trump that he's no longer in their favor; in fact, it appears that the moderators attacked him precisely so the other candidates would not have to get their hands dirty.

The question remains who this will hurt and who it will help. There is huge anger in much of the GOP at the so-called establishment - that which is blamed for both McCain and Romney's failed bids. Remember anything Bush said during the debates? No, right? He showed up like a guy at a party he doesn't want to attend but is obligated to, sitting in his corner drawing as little attention to himself as possible precisely because he knows he's the McCain/Romney of 2016, and he's hoping to just sit unnoticed until the others burn themselves out. This would be the third time in a row for such a phenomenon, and as thick as most Republicans are, some are beginning to catch on.

If Fox News is linked to the GOP establishment, they could well end up the loser, and Trump the winner. Despite conventional wisdom that Trump will flame out a la a-l of those candidates in the previous two GOP primaries, this may turn out differently - and end up as their Battle of Bull Run.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Okay, so now on top of being just a flat out scumbag and misogynist he's a flat out liar. I guess those tend to be the requirements for running on the Republican ticket and being respected by the right wing, so no wonder he's leading!

Right-wing ideals at their finest, people. And despite bass or people like him saying, "Fortunately he's crashed and burned" when he has expressed support for him and says he agrees with him on most things, the guy is STILL IN THE LEAD! Proves everything people said about Trump and the GOP being nothing but a party that hates anything but old white guys is true. I mean, look at how far back they want to roll the clock on women's rights in regards to health issues? No WONDER they love Trump's women-bashing!

"She had blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her other place..."

That's not politically incorrect, it's just flat out in poor taste and wrong. Quite the president this guy would make if he can't take the slightest of insults. Imagine if he and right-wingers had to come out and face the facts!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Laguna

Actually, there is a split at Fox. Roger Ailes actually loves Trump...at least up until yesterday. Rupert Murdoc, the owner of NewsCorp and Fox's parent company HATES Trump. But as far as I know there are still some people like Bill O'Reilly who still love Trump there. And as long as he has some support from Fox and Rush Limbaugh, he will still have a following of their old aging audiences. If and when they lose interest, Trump will be irrelevant once again.

But as I said, Trump isn't truly running for president. He's like Ron Paul...a perpetual candidate and loser. He'll be back again in 2020 to run against whoever is president then.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Someone needs to ask Trump truth about his hair.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Judging by the first question asked in the debate and the first question asked to Trump, it's pretty obvious that Fox is on board with the GOP's desire to go after their leading candidate. He's the Frankenstein supported by the right's radical base and they can't control him.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

What impressed me about the debate was the fact that beside Christie and Paul clashing a couple of times, it seemed all the other candidates on that stage mentioned the name of the next President of the United States, Hillary Rodham Clinton. It's her time ! Once again, I say to you all, get used to it guys, "Madame President" !

0 ( +0 / -0 )

And I thought Japanese politics were full of wingnuts...Trump is King of the Flakes. But I have confidence Americans aren't stupid enough to actually cast a vote for this idiot.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Great photo of Trump here.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

And as long as he has some support from Fox and Rush Limbaugh, he will still have a following of their old aging audiences. If and when they lose interest, Trump will be irrelevant once again.

Yes, but - is it the elderly who form the base of Trump's support,or does much of it come from younger yahoos who never listened to Rush anyway and who have more tenuous ties to Fox, outweighed by their antipathy to the establishment?

We shall see. The new polls will be interesting.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@smithinjapan... scumbag liars... are you sure you want to address your liberal candidates that way?...not politically correct you know...

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

...oh, and note how other candidates are beginning to chime in on the anti-establishment theme. After Trump was booted from the next GOP shindig and remarked, "For all of the people who were looking forward to Mr. Trump coming, we will miss you. Blame Erick Erickson, your weak and pathetic leader," Jindal chimed in, "Party donors, party leaders need to take a deep breath, put down the sharp objects, step away from the window. The voters will decide who our nominee is. They'll decide who the president is."

Of course Jindal can afford to say that. The question is if the sentimit catches on with the GOP electorate

1 ( +1 / -0 )

And look what happened in 2008 and 2012.

Yes, exactly. And as a referendum on you guys you lost the House 2010 and again after his majesty bungled again in 2014.

Yes I have, back in 2012, when you were adamant about Mitt Romney winning the election. Even when he lost Ohio, you still thought he'd win the election despite all facts, historical data, and statistics being against you.

No, I never said concretely he was going to win the election. I said, given his resume and as a former governor, he definitely should have won, but his lack of engaging and going after Obama is what did him in. He had him in the second debate since the man can't read worth a darn without his magic Teleprompter.

What? That makes absolutely NO sense!

To Dems, nothing EVER makes sense. So what's new?

Trump has been a presidential candidate and a perpetual loser since 2000. He declared that he'd run for president in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and now 2016.

Yes and during those times has given lots of cash to democratic contributions, Clinton, Pelosi and others, which is fine, but the man now all of sudden after being a Dem all his adult life, just had a change of heart and calls himself a conservative? Sorry, that dog don't fly. He can call himself what he wants, but a conservative is not one of those things.

Trump is not serious about being president, he's just a big publicity whore who's just trying to sell the Trump brand to the idiots with enough money to buy it,

True.

and Obama has NOTHING to do with that. This is why he is talking crap and saying what he wants to say. He has no intent on winning the nomination.

Of course, it does. The anger that the people have towards Washington, the president, the politicians, both parties, the country, stagnant growth in the economy, he is most definitely an outgrowth of the anger and frustration of this Tyrant.

This isn't progressive politics; this is democratic politics..there's a difference.

Ahhh, you mean like when Debbie Wassermann Schultz was asked this question...

https://youtu.be/JHpiMv3Sy8Q

But let's give her one more chance to explain it....

https://youtu.be/wgnqRxtZrtI

Uh-huh...that's what I thought.

um...were you not watching the debate yesterday.

Yup!

Those lunies at Fox dedicated whole section of time to ask the candidates if they had "received word from God"....Not a SINGLE one of them said that politics and religion don't mix. ALL of them talked about how God was speaking to them....how are they NOT religious zealots

So they are not allowed to say how they feel??? And NO one has governed using God a a wheel to legislate policies. Come on now, you Dems and libs and your fear of God, but when it comes to selling baby parts and trying to sell the public it's tissue or for research that's ok? But I keep forgetting morality doesn't fit into the Democratic lexicon.

More like everyone except FoxNews

I think more like the libs with their hippie rose-colored glasses more like it.

FEC

Geez...I wish you would have the same animus and outrage when the Unions, chop shops like Planned Parenthood and George Soros should be equally band, but then they just wouldn't be fair, right? Hypocrites? Naaaaw!

The GOP is on the highway to extremism.

Naw, it still has a long way to go before it exceeds the Democratic Party

If anything, in terms of policies and the political spectrum, the Dems are where the GOP were 30 years ago, and GOP are at the same place extremists groups like ISIS and the Taliban are today.

Wow!! I mean, WOW! ROFL!

Man, without you guys, my Weekends would be a complete bore.

yeah, we'll see. It will be a pleasure to tell yo how wrong you are...AGAIN

The same to you buddy.

Actually, there is a split at Fox. Roger Ailes actually loves Trump...at least up until yesterday. Rupert Murdoc, the owner of NewsCorp and Fox's parent company HATES Trump.

I'm with Murdoch.

But as far as I know there are still some people like Bill O'Reilly who still love Trump there.

Bill never said he loved Trump and never endorsed any candidate, that is an outright lie.

And as long as he has some support from Fox and Rush Limbaugh, he will still have a following of their old aging audiences.

Many of which were once Obama voters who are older and have families and I guess are now part of this so called old group that you are referring to.

If and when they lose interest, Trump will be irrelevant once again.

I sure hope so.

But as I said, Trump isn't truly running for president. He's like Ron Paul...a perpetual candidate and loser. He'll be back again in 2020 to run against whoever is president then.

I sincerely hope not.

Judging by the first question asked in the debate and the first question asked to Trump, it's pretty obvious that Fox is on board with the GOP's desire to go after their leading candidate. He's the Frankenstein supported by the right's radical base and they can't control him.

Actually, that's not how the questioning works, it's a bit more intricate then that. And Trump is NOT supported by a radical base, he's supported by people that are tired of this idiot we have for a president and the people are fee up with Washington not listening to the people, that's not radical, they just don't want the country to turn into Sweden or worse.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Yes, exactly. And as a referendum on you guys you lost the House 2010 and again after his majesty bungled again in 2014.

Ha-ha, yes dems lost House all right. The republicans better get down to business and select (dam! hate to say hunger games) 1-2 candidates among that motley crew, who might have a chance VS H. Clinton.

AMERICANS, Iran, ISIS, China, Russia, Isreal are watching closely.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Well...

Biff, as I'm now going to call him, has spent his life as a privileged bully.

I'm guessing he wasn't best pleased with the way Fox "news" basically made it all about him only in a way he couldn't control.

But I guess that is what happens when you join a debate with inmates from a lunatic asylum held by a "media" organisation that is by and large the loyal hospital radio...

But I guess that is what happens when you join a debate with inmates from a lunatic asylum held by a "media" organisation that is by and large the loyal hospital radio...

It's like a bunch of trolls, aiming to be leader of the trolls.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Well Stranger,

That's not fair on Shriek, gruff perhaps but nice guy - and certainly no botanical garden as a hairpiece.

To be fair I'm wondering if the Clinton's haven't somehow coerced Trump into this circus. I know that isn't probable and the only answer is sheer Republican insanity at this point, it's just getting kinda weird to watch the Asylum Idol show continue. A whole more fifteen months of scrolling past Bass's scrawlings.

It's too much to bear.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

What a disgusting man Trump is. A racist misogynist. Even talk of him being a Presidential candidate reflects badly on the US.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Nah Liz.

It reflects badly on the insane Republican party. Who are, by and large, old, white, racist, misogynists.

Please don't tar the majority of Americans with that brush.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

I'm guessing he wasn't best pleased with the way Fox "news" basically made it all about him only in a way he couldn't control.

Well, if he's going to be the Republican nominee, he needs to have a thicker skin, doesn't matter if he didn't like the question,

But I guess that is what happens when you join a debate with inmates from a lunatic asylum held by a "media" organisation that is by and large the loyal hospital radio...

Oh, just you wait until October when the Cirque Du Soleil gang of Democrats get on stage, can't wait to watch that spectacle unfold.

To be fair I'm wondering if the Clinton's haven't somehow coerced Trump into this circus.

I do as well.

I know that isn't probable and the only answer is sheer Republican insanity at this point, it's just getting kinda weird to watch the Asylum Idol show continue. A whole more fifteen months of scrolling past Bass's scrawlings.

The same to you, my friend, I'm sorry if I refuse to jump on board the hippie Andy Garcia train of the gang of socialists. Guess you'll just have to put up with diversity and freedom of speech, words that you guys always brag to defenders of.

It reflects badly on the insane Republican party. Who are, by and large, old, white, racist, misogynists.

Jindal, Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Fiorino??? Huh, had no idea!!

But what about the Dems? Racists, hypocrites, intolerant, that's somehow acceptable?

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

I'll be voting for anyone beside Mr. Trump ... except any democrat. Just can't do it. I'm a business owner. Hopefully a better republican choice will rise up. Mr. Trump is an embarrassment to himself, his family, his city, his state and his country. He is a car wreck - we cannot help but watch, but that doesn't mean we want him in control of anything.

Clearly, he cannot even control his own mouth.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

To be fair I'm wondering if the Clinton's haven't somehow coerced Trump into this circus.

When your probable opponent is under criminal investigation by the FBI most likely with perjury charges also by the end of the year it doesn't take a genius. Hillary is sliding into oblivion and yes I guarantee that is one reason 17+ Republicans have thrown their hat in the rinng.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Gosh..where to start..where to start...

Hillary is sliding into oblivion and yes I guarantee that is one reason 17+ Republicans have thrown their hat in the rinng

17+ republicans have thrown their hat into the ring because there is billions of dollars to be made by the winner, the runner-up, and possibly by the most hideous loud mouth in the bunch (hence Trump). Hillary should be really be speaking up (I agree) but she's probably just sitting on the side lines and waiting for the GOP self-destruct so she can cruise to victory.

@MrFu

Pretty much everyone in the GOP is a joke. Kasich is probably the only reasonable one, but he'll never get nominated because he's not crazy or hideous enough.

@Bass -my favorite. But its Sunday and I am in lazy mode today, so I am only going to address the most laughable comments you made:

No, I never said concretely he was going to win the election.

In 2012, I was calling out the election results in realtime (ultimately irritating the JT mods so I had to stop), and you were in COMPLETE and utter denial until the end. It was like having JT's very own Karl Rove.

just had a change of heart and calls himself a conservative? Sorry, that dog don't fly. He can call himself what he wants, but a conservative is not one of those things.

Again, Trump is a lunatic who's in it just to sell the Trump name. He has no intention of becoming POTUS. As an expert marketer, he knows that there is more money to made by being a loud mouth carnival barker trying to sell snake oil, than a real and reasonable candidate with real issues on his agenda. This is why he all of a sudden a conservative -because they are willing to buy the BS he's selling.

He had him in the second debate since the man can't read worth a darn without his magic Teleprompter

Here we go with the teleprompter BS again...HELLO? Everyone uses a teleprompter...and even if they didn't, who ficken cares?...such a trivial non-issue and one of many distractions set up by the GOP so people don't see that the real mess is in the GOP.

So they are not allowed to say how they feel???

Simple answer is NO. America was set up on the principal that they would not have an official religion! What if a candidate stated speaking about how he reads the Koran everyday, and how Allah speaks to him. Republican heads would explode! Fox News would run the sound bite 24 hours a day for the next 2 years. SEPARATION of church and state! Constitutionally NONE of these candidates should even be bringing up "God" in their speech and should be an immediate grounds for disqualification as a candidate.

And NO one has governed using God a a wheel to legislate policies.

Are you kidding me? All republican ideals are formed around religion! Abortion rights, gay rights, contraceptive rights, freedom of religion act -all being fought against by the GOP IN THE NAME OF GOD! We went to FRICKEN war with Iraq because that fricken lunatic Bush thought it was the end times. You're an idiot if you don't think the GOP doesn't create legislation based on religious beliefs. They do it only ALL THE FRICKEN TIME. That's what the GOP is all about -turning the US into a theocracy!

Come on now, you Dems and libs and your fear of God,

Sorry, but the majority don't "fear" God, because most don't believe in an all mighty supernatural being to begin with. Its the religious right that fear God and say how they "found God" after being caught in a scandal.

but when it comes to selling baby parts and trying to sell the public it's tissue or for research that's ok? But I keep forgetting morality doesn't fit into the Democratic lexicon.

WHAT? WTH are you talking about? Nobody is "selling" baby parts. Boy are you brainwashed. Are you following Alex Jones too?

Bill never said he loved Trump and never endorsed any candidate, that is an outright lie

I didn't say Billy boy endorsed Trump; I said he LOVES Trump..which he does...look at how chummy they are in this interview:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ci_jpijr2g

Bass, I implore you to educate yourself. Fox is not you're friend. They are the voice of the GOP and spread nothing but propaganda. Its all lies and nonsense, and you really need to learn to see through it.

bass: And Trump is NOT supported by a radical base, he's supported by people that are tired of this idiot we have for a president

So GOP pollsters are supporting Trump over Cruz because they are tired of Obama?

"Trump’s campaign responded: “This is just another example of weakness through being politically correct." - article

Meet Donald Trump, The Billionaire Cry-Baby. That mean lady asked if Trump's habitual use of abusive language towards women "reflected the “temperament of a man we should elect as president.”

Of course Trump doesn't take that kind of rap from chicks with their menstrual cycles. No wonder the GOP-Tea LOVES this guy. A rich, old, white misogynist is finally delivering the kind truthing the GOP-Tea dog whistles have been blowing for years.

Trump the rump should get the dump from the stump but he's too rich and too full of himself to have anything but contempt for any opinion besides his own. Just the kind of guy you want controlling nuclear weapons and international relations.

but she's probably just sitting on the side lines and waiting for the GOP self-destruct so she can cruise to victory.

Judging by her nose growing longer by the minute, if this keeps up and the way it's going, the only thing we can expect from Hillary is she will be cruising to nice comfy Fed. prison.

In 2012, I was calling out the election results in realtime (ultimately irritating the JT mods so I had to stop), and you were in COMPLETE and utter denial until the end. It was like having JT's very own Karl Rove.

What on Earth are you talking about, man? Why the heck are you making up stuff as you go on? Let me state what I said and I never went on, I said "Romney with his resume and his governing background particularly in business should have been a slam-dunk to win." He had Obama and Obama was dazed as he was scrambling to find the words to say, probably Debbie W Schulz was flashing que cards for him, anyway, I never thought beating Obama would be easy, Romney allowed Obama to define him and unlike Obama, Romney wasn't raised in the art of Chicago ghetto politics.

Exactly, the same goes for Hillary, that's why both of them need to take a very long vacation until Oh...after January 2017.

Here we go with the teleprompter BS again...HELLO? Everyone uses a teleprompter...and even if they didn't, who ficken cares?

Yeah, but the difference is, the anointed one is beyond lost without it, helpless and hopeless. Jus sayin'

...such a trivial non-issue and one of many distractions set up by the GOP so people don't see that the real mess is in the GOP.

I see, so when it doesn't benefit Dems it's called trivial or a distraction another euphemism for BS excuse.

Simple answer is NO. America was set up on the principal that they would not have an official religion! What if a candidate stated speaking about how he reads the Koran everyday, and how Allah speaks to him. Republican heads would explode!

Speaking about your belief and governing are two different things. Huckabee and Kasich never governed that way and neither did Clinton and Bush, even though they had strong religious convictions as does Hillary even if she wants to put that facade out there that she is a cold hearted progressive (supposedly).

Fox News would run the sound bite 24 hours a day for the next 2 years. SEPARATION of church and state! Constitutionally NONE of these candidates should even be bringing up "God" in their speech and should be an immediate grounds for disqualification as a candidate.

Why are you Atheists so afraid of God? LOL I thought this was America? So what you're saying is FREE speech should only apply to Liberals and to Conservatives-conditionally. Gotcha.

Whoa, relax! By the way, Bush never said verbatim it's the end times or Armageddon. That claim has been debunked numerous times or you also believe the planes on 9/11 were flown by Israelis as well? Come on now.

You're an idiot if you don't think the GOP doesn't create legislation based on religious beliefs.

Idiot?? Another angered senseless Ad hom attack?? Anyway, so let's take a look, that includes: Not lying, stealing, swindling, murdering, talking and slandering about other people behind their backs, courting someone else's wife or what we call as having an affair. So from that moral and religious standpoint, they all do, nothing wrong with it or are you saying that that none of these should be uttered or believed? I keep forgetting, you libs want a free for all Roman Caligula society fest.

They do it only ALL THE FRICKEN TIME. That's what the GOP is all about -turning the US into a theocracy!

Even if that were just a little bit true, with all the crap that is going on, it might actually do us all a bit of good to get everyone back on track with all this hate and collapse of the society.

Sorry, but the majority don't "fear" God, because most don't believe in an all mighty supernatural being to begin with. Its the religious right that fear God and say how they "found God" after being caught in a scandal.

Again, if that were remotely true NO GOP candidate would even be running and 24 million people (which a very large part are religious conservatives) wouldn't have been watching, the highest rated of any debate ever. Remember, most of the RED states are God fearing people. How big is Texas again?

WHAT? WTH are you talking about? Nobody is "selling" baby parts. Boy are you brainwashed.

Sorry, that argument is already debunked, the tapes, the videos or are you now saying, you believe me or your lying eyes. PP was caught red-handed, that's all there is to it. So NO, I don't want my tax dollars supporting a chop shop, if they are privately funded, so be it, but I don't have to be complicit in their actions.

I didn't say Billy boy endorsed Trump; I said he LOVES Trump..which he does...look at how chummy they are in this interview:

That's my point. Trump is definitely a huge Clinton and Democratic supporter.

I implore you to educate yourself.

I am, very.

Fox is not you're friend.

No, but they at least don't tow the liberal overly and massively dominated Journalistic scene. I know it, lived and work in it. I'll say this, if you libs have the print and most of TV overwhelmingly Liberal dominated, what is wrong with one channel that gives conservatives, libertarians and traditionalists a voice? Or are you saying, they should be silent. That's not the America I want or you think the old days of CNN having just Sundays Old Bob Novak shooting it out with Carville was better and the rest of the week, just listening to Liberal one-sided bloviating? No, sorry. Thank God for the brilliance of Roger Ailes to give the people another choice if they get tired of hearing a one-sided peddled POV.

They are the voice of the GOP and spread nothing but propaganda.

I worked mostly for msnbc and a few other outlets, they all do the same, so pick our poison. I personally, got sick and tired working in a hostile environment where expressing my beliefs would get me scolded and if you didn't tow the liberal line... So that's equally propaganda just flip it over to the liberal side.

Its all lies and nonsense, and you really need to learn to see through it.

I did, that's why I left msn.

Of course Trump doesn't take that kind of rap from chicks with their menstrual cycles. No wonder the GOP-Tea LOVES this guy.

Not the GOP, many of the voters.

A rich, old, white misogynist is finally delivering the kind truthing the GOP-Tea dog whistles have been blowing for years.

But a rich old White lady that is a habitual liar is OK??

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Trump is the best thing to happen to the Democratic party, ever.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

what is wrong with one channel that gives conservatives, libertarians and traditionalists a voice?

If only there was a channel representing that constituency that rose above the lowest common denominator of knee-jerk, sound-bite, man-but-not-ball-playing, anti-intellectual, rabble-rousing, sensationalist spin...

...we all might learn something about the issues that they hold so dear.

But that doesn't sell advertising. The Melbourne Machiavelli knows what does sell, and stirs up hornets nests across the Anglosphere. The gullible pay heed, and politics - as we used to know it - suffers.

It's called: More of the Same Nonsense Barack Channel

...we all might learn something about the issues that they hold so dear.

Phil Griffen has already fired 3, now they just need to show Sharpton the door and then they might be able to go back to doing what they should have been doing, reporting the news.

But that doesn't sell advertising.

That's why Obama's network is faltering....at least trying to stay relevant.

Not only him, they all do, it's just, this Aussie/American is brilliant genius! But don't worry, you guys got that Hungarian guy....what's his name again? It's all the same thing you're not out of the cold, sadly.

So fun to see the REPUBLICANS stick there foot in their MOUTH! As a Mexican, it only makes me happy to let these fools like TRUMP keep shooting themselves in the FOOT! Let Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz, nice try but they will get ZERO VOTES from ME!! and MILLIONS OF OTHER LATINO US VOTERS, and anybody else who has felt INSULTED by DONALD TRUMP and all of these other crazy REPUBLICANS.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Elbuda, since you are Mexican, I want to ask you: what does MEXICO do to those who enter Mexico illegally? Are they welcomed, provided with social services, provided shelter and a pathway to citizenship?

As for Trump, his insults are getting rather predictable. They are one of three styles: "loser", "disgusting", or "I gave him/her money after they came begging for it".

My only hope is that his 'candor' will at least get the professional politicians in the race to start talking a little more like normal people again, and less like Euphemism Generating Machines.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

In a perverse sort of way, it would actually be incredibly interesting if Trump was actually elected President

@Vast I would not count on getting a cogent answer to this question. The rule of law and common sense are beyond the open borders crowd. Ignoring immigration law and granting amnesty to millions makes about as much sense as Donald Trump claiming all illegal immigrants from Mexico are rapists. That's how things have gotten these days. America cannot be a normal country and enforce our borders like Mexico, Canada, and every other nation in the world. It must be changed fundamentally. You do that by throwing open the borders to poor Latin Americans from nations with a Leftist political heritage. Viola! Now you have Venezuala in North America. I'm not sure what they will do in 75 years when America becomes a banana republic but it works for the short term.
