The Washington Post long has been neither free nor independent and now is nothing more than Clinton's mouthpiece parading in newspaper clothing. When they changed their headlines on the story, it certainly appears they knew they were misleading the public about Trump's comments.

His action also doesn't prevent the Washington Post from covering him, it will just force the paper to do so from a distance. Press credentials are a privilege, not a right. And his action certainly won't reduce the volume of coverage.

This is just a foreshadowing of what is to come if he becomes president. Anytime anyone reports anything that he doesn't like, he'll cut off their press credentials. Not so different as to what Japan does with their kisha clubs - and look how poorly Japan ranks in press freedom.
