“Moms for Liberty serves on the advisory board for Project 2025”

I wonder if they’ll ask him about it. And drag. He wears more makeup than Rupaul, maybe JD can dust off his wig and little black dress.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

A year ago, Moms for Liberty was viewed by many as a rising power player in conservative politics that could be pivotal in supporting the Republican ticket. The group’s membership skyrocketed after its launch in 2021, fueled by parents protesting mandatory masking for students and remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This group of prosperity gospel swilling, Xtian Nationalist Karens are a target rich environment of face-palming quotes and videos if you search online.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/moms-for-liberty-hitler-quote-b2363006.html

They are the perfect audience for Trump's red-baiting tactics vis a vis Harris/Walz. Though it seems a group already 100 % for him.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Ah, book banning homophobes (who swing)! That critical slice of the electorate!

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Showing his base his neo-Nazi credentials.

Itso, she not interviewing for a job at CNN

The group also has voiced support for Project 2025, a detailed and controversial playbook for the next conservative presidency from which Trump has repeatedly tried to distanced himself.

Moms for Liberty serves on the advisory board for Project 2025, and the author of the document’s education chapter taught a “strategy session” at the group’s Friday gathering.

I think Trump should do more and more of these fireside chats with some of the radicals behind Project 2025.

The group also has voiced support for Project 2025, a detailed and controversial playbook for the next conservative presidency from which Trump has repeatedly tried to distanced himself.

Trump worked to remove mentions of policy from the RNC platform and it is obvious this is it.

“It certainly helps him rally his base,” Jewett said. “But will that be enough to outdo the backlash?”

If anyone needed any more proof this little gathering should seal the deal.

I think the fascinating thing about Donald Trump is that he's a father and a grandfather, but he's involved his children in business and in politics with him,

5 kids by 3 women.

A weird creepy affinity for the looks of his older daughter.

Wanted his second wife to abort Tiffany (she wouldn’t so he just ostracized her instead).

2 idiot sons who do idiotic things in a futile attempt to win his affirmation.

A real family guy.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Moms for Liberty, a national nonprofit that has spearheaded efforts to get mentions of LGBTQ+ identity and structural racism out of K-12 classrooms.

Women and mothers face constant abuse from mysogynist men and sexual predators.

They are fighting back against oppression in defence of their children and their bodies.

To all oppressed women and girls I say ...

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Weirdo to Address Weirdos

Why? They’re voters as well. Teachers should teach things that kids can use in their daily lives, reading, writing, math, critical thinking..

Exactly

5 kids by 3 women.

Smart good looking and all successful.

A weird creepy affinity for the looks of his older daughter.

Most fathers love their daughters, I love mine and she’s beautiful, nothing wrong with admiring your genes and being deeply proud of your contribution to society, that’s life.

Wanted his second wife to abort Tiffany (she wouldn’t so he just ostracized her instead).

So the lib gossip stories claim allegedly.

2 idiot sons who do idiotic things in a futile attempt to win his affirmation.

Hardly, they’ve become more successful than they were before they got into politics.

A real family guy.

Absolutely.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

They are fighting back against oppression in defence of their children and their bodies.

By supporting a known sexual predator. Weird.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Teachers should teach things that kids can use in their daily lives, reading, writing, math, critical thinking..

They already are.

Unless they’re homeschoolers.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Why? They’re voters as well. Teachers should teach things that kids can use in their daily lives, reading, writing, math, critical thinking..

Except for banning the teaching of the history of American expansion and indentured servitude, evolution, and the value of the scientific method versus faith based reasoning.

MfL are no friend of teachers. As is the GOP and Project 2025 wanting to eliminate the Department of Education.

—Weirdo to Address Weirdos

Why? They’re voters as well.

Did I say they weren’t?

These voters are already 100% sold on Trump, so he doesn’t need to convince them of anything. And sharing a room with these extremist weirdos is not going to appeal to the undecided, who are generally less ideologically extreme.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Duhhh...Did I say I was anti-choice? No! I'm pro-choice! Duhh...I mean I'm pro-life! Oh, I don't what the hell I'm saying from day to day anymore! Anyway, whatever it takes. Whatever it takes.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

nothing wrong with admiring your genes and being deeply proud of your contribution to society

It’s natural for a father to wish he could go out with his genes. Or to tell a pornstar that she reminds him of his genes.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

"I think the fascinating thing about Donald Trump is that he's a father and a grandfather, but he's involved his children in business and in politics with him,” she said. “They have a very strong family."

What a nice way to describe nepotism.

Unless they’re homeschoolers.

If done right, they do very, very well.

But in the last several months, a series of embarrassing scandals and underwhelming performances during local elections have called Moms for Liberty’s influence into question.

They're a bunch of far-right radical nuts - that's why their influence, often overstated, is waning...

The group also has voiced support for Project 2025, a detailed and controversial playbook for the next conservative presidency from which Trump has repeatedly tried to distanced himself.

BINGO! The authoritarian playbook all of MAGA-world loves in private, but runs away from in public...

But they no longer can run away - Project 2025's co-author was caught on tape admitting all the Repubs saying they know nothing about it are LYING...he said he talks to Trump "regularly"....

https://newrepublic.com/post/184908/donald-trump-project-2025-video

The way Trump has been dissing the audience he's been talking to lately, these "Moms" better be ready for Trump to tell them they're a bunch of "losers" who raise delinquent kids...

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Yet Trump also will run the risk of alienating some moderate voters,

Isn't "moderate (republican) voter" an oxymoron in the present situation?

He's the republican candidate, and there's nothing moderate about him, so you either vote for him and demonstrate that you're not moderate, or you either abstain, vote for some third party (if there is one) or go all out and change sides.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

They're a bunch of far-right radical nuts - that's why their influence, often overstated, is waning...

Yes, that’s why more are going to Private schools and going into Home schooling.

Which he hasn’t

Simon Foston, I agree, but relevant under the circumstances, when comparing behaviours.

I am a firm supporter of formal legislative process that would ban all forms of toxic gender/identify political propaganda out of junior and middle school classrooms .

I would also fully support full parental inclusion, a total ban on transgender athletes in women sports.

Nature wonderful gift that defines biological sex at birth, cannot, must not ever be subject to the poisonous political propaganda of Identity/Gender lunacy.

Never.

Young Girls and Boys safe spaces enforced under law.

“President Trump believes students should be taught reading, writing and math in the classroom — not gender, sex and race like the Biden Administration is pushing on our public school system,”

I am fully supportive of Donald Trump on this one, if that makes me a card carrying MAGA harpy I can live with that.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Oh, really now…hmmm

You’re saying there are discipline problems because the curriculum isn’t focusing enough on “real world” skills.

I’m trying to figure out the logic there.

Why is it that in public schools black kids continue to fall behind

Sure. Of course that is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. I just don’t understand what that has to do with a curriculum that is sensitive to gender and race issues that are part of the “real world”.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Why is it that in public schools black kids continue to fall behind in reading, writing and math? Why they can’t get them to listen? California is so rich and great, but they’re not producing their best.

What is the literacy rate in Japan?

around 99%.

American Asians have the highest literacy rate.

The Democrats are setting the trap for MAGA to be sprung on election day

5 ( +5 / -0 )

And another Trump crazed rant yesterday...he's really spiraling down...

"Donald Trump isn’t cool with sleeping in public. The former president, complained on Thursday that President Joe Biden has been in Delaware “laying on a beach, sleeping all day long.” Who the hell wants to sleep, and who wants to sleep in public?” the GOP nominee said during the campaign stop in Potterville, Michigan."

"Trump has continued to attack the president, even though he is no longer running against him."

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-served-brutal-receipts-ranting-114440248.html

The demented old fool STILL thinks he's running against Biden...

And this guy is criticizing Biden when he dozed through most of his criminal hush money trial earlier this year?

He's humiliating himself more each day with every speech...anyone who is not a card-carrying MAGA cult member clearly realizes this guy needs to be in a "senior home"....where he can rant at the walls all day - between his naps...

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Sure. Of course that is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

Ok, now we’re getting somewhere, so my next question is, what are the Dems doing about it? Apparently, the problem is worsening not getting better.

I just don’t understand what that has to do with a curriculum that is sensitive to gender and race issues that are part of the “real world”.

So then why has it become a central focus issue in public schools? Kids talk more about genders and pronouns than they do about science, logic, reading and writing.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

and cutting funding from any schools pushing “inappropriate racial, sexual or political content.”

Trump eyeing up North Kores's terrific curriculum in advance of a good ole' book burning.

"Vought, however, called himself someone who “has the president’s trust” and said while he expects Trump to continue to distance himself from the plan, the former president has visited and raised money for his organization, "blessed it" and been "very supportive of what we do."

Which the President denounced.

“I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”

What? More MAGA delusion...

Kids talk more about genders and pronouns than they do about science, logic, reading and writing.

How many schools did you visit to reach this conclusion?

Kids talk about all kinds of stuff. Banning books and telling them what they mustn’t talk about seems more of a problem.

Moms for liberty published a 111 page pdf readily available on the internet of all the books they want to ban including in detail all the excerpts and illustrations they object to. Seems they are peddling the stuff and making it more widely available than any library is.

Hot headed and empty headed is never a good combination.

Just when you think this disgusting miscreant can]t go any lower...

"Trump claimed that he didn’t know “anything about” the use of the images on his campaign social media. “We have a lot of people, we have TikTok people,” he said. “You know, we’re leading the internet.”

Pressed on it again, Trump suggested the parents of the deceased service members he had accompanied may have been responsible for distributing the videos and photos.

“I don’t know what the rules and regulations are. I don’t know who did it,” Trump said. “It could have been them — it could have been the parents.”

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-suggests-gold-star-families-152245211.html

So after finally admitting that using video/photos of his visit to Arlington Cemetery was a violation of the law, Trump refuses to take any responsibility and BLAMES THE PARENTS OF THE SOLDIERS WHO INVITED HIM THERE....

What do you think about that MAGA-fans - your guy turning on his supporters who invited him...just like he'd turn on YOU....

Secure the border, finish building the wall, and deport illegal aliens

De-weaponize the Federal Government by increasing accountability and oversight of the FBI and DOJ

Unleash American energy production to reduce energy prices

Cut the growth of government spending to reduce inflation

Make federal bureaucrats more accountable to the democratically elected President and Congress

Improve education by moving control and funding of education from DC bureaucrats directly to parents and state and local governments

Ban biological males from competing in women's sports.

De-weaponize the Federal Government by increasing accountability and oversight of the FBI and DOJ

The federal government isn't weaponized and the only extra oversight required is over the Supreme Court.

Unleash American energy production to reduce energy prices

American energy production is already unleashed, that's why prices have come down.

Cut the growth of government spending to reduce inflation

That won't reduce inflation.

Make federal bureaucrats more accountable to the democratically elected President and Congress

A stupid idea, especially if Trump gets in, because Trump doesn't care about America, he only cares about himself. So being more accountable to Trump than the country would be a disaster.

Improve education by moving control and funding of education from DC bureaucrats directly to parents and state and local governments

Actually, Project 2025 wants to take funding out of public schools and pump it into private schools. It would be a disaster.

In one form or another.

However 2024 the trans community has been politically trolled weaponised by a ideologically toxic motivated minority to divide, to further belligerence, to confuse, to force a culture, a poisonous piped piper, to encourage children to take damaging puberty blocking drugs without parental knowledge or consent.

his campaign pointed to his education proposals, which include promoting school choice, giving parents more say in education and awarding funding preference to states and school districts that abolish teacher tenure, financially reward good teachers and allow parents to directly elect school principals.

He also has called for terminating the Department of Education, barring transgender athletes from playing in girls’ sports, and cutting funding from any schools pushing “inappropriate racial, sexual or political content.”

“President Trump believes students should be taught reading, writing and math in the classroom — not gender, sex and race like the Biden Administration is pushing on our public school system,” said Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign’s national press secretary.

As usual, the most important part of the article(!) is being ignored by most readers, especially those who support Kamala, obviously—

the tactic is to distract and talk about things that aren’t pertinent to the lives of the American people and the future of the country and the Western World,

today, it’s “Project 2025”, smh, the other day it was QAnon and Trump’s posts, when in reality this is part of Trump’s fight to defeat the establishment.

But back to today’s article…—last time I checked, the parents still have the right to determine the best educational environments for their children—they are the ones who can guide and protect their kids (the weirdos who promote sex changes in children during a vulnerable stage of their lives shouldn't even be allowed near children).

This is another reason why so many Democrats are leaving the party. The DP is unrecognizable—that’s a fact. You can ignore it, but it’s still the truth,… and looking at the comments from my fellow JT readers here, this is proof that Democrats vote emotionally and those who vote for Trump vote rationally—

yesterday, even in a scripted/edited interview, Kamala was so cringe, weak, always looking down (a sign that she lacks confidence), and extremely vague—(apparently, she’s dropping up to 5 points in national polling after the interview…)

and people still want this woman to be the next President of the United States (?!)—well, I guess the “anti–orange man syndrome” is real. Smh.

(Yesterday, Vivek Ramaswamy’s post was spot on: “Kamala’s interview last night was a reminder that we’re not running against a candidate. We’re running against a system. They require a candidate they can control, which means having original ideas is a disqualification”)

The federal government isn't weaponized

Half of the country doesn't believe that and the ones that hate Trump, a lot of them do think the Feds are and have been weaponized

American energy production is already unleashed, that's why prices have come down.

If that is the case and that was true, why would Kamala tell voters she's for fracking? Then there would be no need.

That won't reduce inflation.

It does, that is why people are moving from Blue to Red States.

A stupid idea, especially if Trump gets in, because Trump doesn't care about America

If Trump didn't care, he wouldn't be running and gathering the support of millions

Actually, Project 2025 wants to take funding out of public schools and pump it into private schools. It would be a disaster.

But that won't happen, so the left can hold their teddies less tightly.

Nobody cares about this.

Except half of the country and women.

Wrong again, love the Heritage Foundation, but that is one of the many think tanks that support the president and present proposals as to what direction they think the President should go in and the problems he should tackle and solutions, one of many and Trump rejected this particular proposal, so no worries.
