Its the Lemon Tart vs. Rocket Man. Neither of them is qualified to lead a nation, and neither of them will leave power voluntarily.
nishikat
This corrupt media accurately reports all of Trump's failings and broken promises like no wall (Mexico paying or not paying) as well as many others. It's not corrupt media. It's accurate reporting.

Who cares?? We can try to insult Kim all we want, he doesn't give a damn. He does precisely what he wants. Calling him Rocket Man is mild. We are just so impotent in the face of North Korea and all the leaders know it. 10 years from now, the US president will be different but Kim will still be there doing his thing as ever.
SuperLib
Pretty good Emmy awards show last night with some great zingers at Trump. He seems to like name calling, so he should have no problem with it.
toshiko
survive. Long line for gas in NK? Trump needs homework. NK is not in USA. People had been eating donated long grain rice to survived. People don't drive a car. Sanction or not, Japan should donate food to NK.
mukashiyokatta
Pretty laughable, coming from "fire and fury man" (or is that "Putin's lapdog?).
UlsterBoy
Maybe a bit old, relates to the Falkands War between the UK and Argentina...

Useful insight into what happens in a Conventional war, should anyone have any Cartoon or e-Game like thoughts about War.
ThePBot
In my opinion, "Rocket Man" actually sounds kind of cool. I mean, it's better than any of Trump's nicknames.
Jimizo
Is amnesty Don throwing nicknames around again?
The trash right certainly like name-calling. Even Bannon is getting in on the act.
ClippetyClop
I like this analogy though Bass, not sure it's accurate but I'm gonna use it. I might replace starfish with urchin though
ClippetyClop
I guess that's as close as we are going to get to you defining what is corrupt / reputable media in your eyes.
Suicide missions rarely end well for both sides. I hope you are happy swapping the destruction of Tokyo or Seoul for Pyongyang. But hey, at least the cowboy talk satisfies the whooping crowds!
bass4funk
You talking about Jeff Zucker again? Lol
No, they do, that's why libs always scurry sideways like a crab trying to hide under a starfish.
At least Trump has a definitive answer for Kim, he can blow and boast all he wants, but if he continues, Kim is going to really regret his choices and that will be the last of him and the regime. He either knows it or is on a serious suicide mission.
Ok, Trump has Fox and Friends, Hillary the entire CNN network and Obama MSNBC Joe, Mika and Rachel and my favorite Mr. Tingles, so what?
Serrano
Northern... try watching the links, ya might learn something.
UlsterBoy
It's not so funny when you sad in the middle between these two.
Serrano
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
'Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no no no I'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone
hehe
Oh my...
Obama left Trump with fewer options against North Korea

Spoken like a true child.
And Kim's response?..... I'm still standing. Yeah, yeah, yeah!
BeerDeliveryGuy
As long as royalties are paid to the record union it's not an issue at all. However for high profile events like a presidential campaign, it's generally considered a courtesy to ask for consent.
Toasted Heretic
BDG; think he also used the Rolling Stones without permission? But then; he's used to doing stuff without consent...
BeerDeliveryGuy
Never thought of Trump as an Elton John fan type.
He seems more like a Van Halen or Bruce Springsteen (who's music he used without consent during his campaign) fan.
Luddite
Please, someone take his phone away, cut the internet access.
ClippetyClop
Haha! You've dug yourself a massive hole there Bass. Let me help you. 'Corrupt' media = news that you don't like. This 'left' fellow runs them all it seems. He really gets around, and asks lots of awkward questions. They should be silenced, it works really well in NK.
'Reputable' media = ones that you like. They don't bother asking hard questions that make people feel nervous. I think that's how it works with Trumpbots. Certainly they wouldn't be run by media moguls with direct access to the President.
Toasted Heretic
Who do you report for, Paul? Is it not ironic that you call Kim and his cronies warmongers and mention a US blitzkrieg in the same sentence?
Those warmongers, at it again, eh. Where should we all go, Paul? Where will you be going to, seeing as you're in the know?
Paul Martin
This reporter predicts, given the present tensions, that North Korea is just weeks away or very close thereafter to ceasing to exist as a threat or country and if Kim Jong In isn't killed in the US blitzkrieg he will surely be well dug in deep under one of his mountains which with a bit of luck will also become his and his warmongering cronies tomb !
Wise Japanese and Gaijins would be smart to get the hell outa Japan until this all blows over because be sure the country a prime target for North Korean reprisals if that is they are still able to retaliate after MASSIVE US military attacks !
bass4funk
I leave that for the left. So who might they be?
No, it's not surgery, although judging from how the way the lefts been acting, I'm deeply concerned with their mental stability. So who might these reputable news outlets be?
ClippetyClop
What an abject response. I'll try again; please enlighten us, why are the news providers you mentioned corrupt? And which ones aren't corrupt? This isn't rocket surgery Bass.
Eppee
I follow him and actually saw that tweet this morning, was pretty sure it would make the news...
Kobe White Bar Owner
@bass,
You digging?
bass4funk
And what does the left have besides "I heard or I read?" As for news sources that aren't corrupt....gee, who might they be?
Alistair Carnell
I hope Kim responds with..
"Goodbye yellow brick choad"
Toasted Heretic
If Kim is the rocket man, that must make Trump the rackets man.
smithinjapan
"But Haley warned of a tougher U.S. response to future North Korean provocations..."
tougher for the millionth time now? Is the destruction NK will face going to be more han the "Fire and fury" Trump promised months ago before saying all options are on the table, or will it be less than the "military options" he's threatened... before he says all options are on the table.
Oh, and will they now be playing Elton John every time NK comes up on the news, showing Trump's orange face?
Toasted Heretic
A question answered by another question. Answer mine first and I'll gladly furnish you with an equally enlightening reply.
ClippetyClop
I was hoping for something more convincing that just a list of outfits that don't write what you want them to write. For example, evidence of their actual corruption. I suppose that would be too difficult though. How about a list of news sources that aren't corrupt then? Shall we start there and build up?
bass4funk
CBS, NBC, CNN, NYT, Chicago Tribune, L.A. Times, Washington Post and that's just the type of the surface.
That's already being done, so now the ball is in Kim's court, what does he want to do?
Toasted Heretic
Is diplomacy,re- establishing relations and working things out with world leaders capitulation?
ClippetyClop
Link please
bass4funk
Link please
Eppee
That one is directly coming from his Twitter account ...
bass4funk
Thanks to the corrupt media.
Nan Ferra
I think Ziggy Stardust would be better......Kim Jong playyyyyyyyyyed guitarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......
OssanAmerica
Did you even go to school? Did you just now learn about EMP attacks? The United States has 7200 nuclear warheads. North Korea has maybe 10-16. The US has multiple working delivery systems. North Korea is working feverishly to perfect their first.
bass4funk
With each passing day, I would rather hear the hilarious and at times childish insults from Trump than the Thank God we don't have another liberal president that believes in stupid red lines or capitulation.
katsu78
How is "Rocket Man" even an insult? If anything Trump is raising Un's cool by calling him that.
Goodlucktoyou
@Ossan. Didn't you study science at school? Know what a couple of hydrogen bombs exploded over the USA will do? Nothing electrical will work, all the reactors will meltdown, no transportation, no food, all military hardware will be stopped, satilites and gps finished. Luckily he doesn't have a hydrogen bomb or any long range missiles.
serendipitous1
Dodgy Don must have been listening to his Elton John CD (or LP) collection and got some inspiration for more name calling.
clamenza
Its the old Bob Dylan line; When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose
Bintaro
Sick burn, bro...
Next time, tell him his fat ! Oh, wait...
cla68
Once Trump nicknames some schmuck, they're done.
CrazyJoe
Space Control to Major Don...
Space Control to Major Don...
Halt your childish tweeting, big boy pants should now be on...
Toasted Heretic
How very presidential of him. Two muppets trading insults. To hell with them both.
OssanAmerica
Nowhere near it. Don't they teach math over there?
