No, Donny's not racist at all. He's taken out multiple full-page ads to advocate the death penalty for white suspects.

What a repugnant moron.

I don’t think he is racist but ambiguous enough to attract all kind of people.

But if you wear and white hood and chant "white power" Trump will say some are nice people.

And how many times did Trump tell us that Manafort was presumed innocent until proven guilty?

Staggering hypocrisy.

But there's a simple explanation: Manafort is white.

Il Duce speaks again, just like after Charlottesville.

another man confessed to the crime and DNA tests confirmed his guilt.

And yet Trump still believes his own narrative. Idiot.

They confessed. Plus it’s 30 years ago.

I agree.

Asked by a reporter outside the White House whether he would apologize to the five men, Trump said: "Why do you bring this question up now? It's an interesting time to bring it up."

Paraphrase: Why did you ask me about this? You know it makes me look bad and wrong! This is unfair and my ego is hurting! Leave me alone!

If you look at Linda Fairstein and if you look at some of the prosecutors, they think that the city should never have settled that case. So we'll leave it at that," he said, referring to one of the prosecutors in the case.

Shifting the blame on someone else who was also proven wrong.

Even though these men were wrongly convicted of rape, they still beat the woman into submission which is beyond bad, but for Netflix to cash in and glorify these guys who were No saints by the stretch of the imagination is a complete scandal in itself.

Yeah, just because you commit one crime, you don't force people to confess to a more serious crime that they never committed. Would they have gotten the same treatment if they were White? Our president defended the KKK members at a rally where one of its members killed a woman.

I agree

You (blacklabel) and bass have both criticized the j-cops for forcing confessions and sending innocent people to prison, but you and other posters make excuses when minorities in mostly Western predominately white countries like Australia and the US are shown to have committed the same injustice.

Oh, who cares its just this people's lives, right?

Their confession was forced. They were proven innocent thanks to DNA evidence. It's astonishing that you think innocent black people should be executed just to placate the brainless manchild in the Oval Office.

blacklabel: They confessed.

bass: I agree.

I thought you guys were more from the camp that says, "the FBI can make you say anything they want" when people talked about Trump. But for these guys....they confessed and that's it?

Skin color, perhaps?

The five were participants of a rampaging mob that were attacking people in NYC's Central Park. Only their participation in the rape of the jogger was questionable. At the time, many people were calling for the death penalty for the animals who participated in the senselessly violent "wilding".

excerpt from "I am the Central Park Jogger" -

Just before nine that night, a group of more than thirty teenagers gather on 110th Street, the northern end of Central Park, for a night of “wilding”-senseless violence performed because it’s “fun and something to do.”* They throw rocks and bottles at cars entering the park; punch, kick, and knock down a Hispanic man, drag him nearly unconscious into the bushes, pour beer over him, and steal his food. They decide not to attack a couple walking along the path because the two are on a date, but do go after a couple on a tandem bicycle, who manage to elude them. They split into smaller groups, then come together, then split again, like dancers in a sinister ballet. In all, eight are assaulted, including a forty-year-old teacher and ex-marine named John Loughlin, whom they beat unconscious.

Sneezy - Their confession was forced. They were proven innocent thanks to DNA evidence.

DNA evidence only proved they weren't involved in the rape. They were participants in the mindless  "wilding" violence that occurred that night.
