Good move, Mr. President

This is what blatant and willful obstruction looks like...  Transparancy, honesty?  Trump is terrified and desperate.   Welcome to a blindly corrupt POTUS everyone.  It stinks to high heaven.   Deu

And the Trumpeteers and current GOP keep selling out the entire country regardless of the consequences.   Deutsche bank will definitely be looking up their options at getting back their money from loaning to Trump regardless of his abuse of power as a wanna be tyrant.

Good move, Mr. President

It's called corruption and abuse of power Bass.   And you're still advocating for this.  Disgusting.   You've sold your soul as an American just like the rest of the so called GOP.

Amazing how well the GOP and Trumpets have been psycho-analyzed so accurately.

-Greed, whether for money or for POWER, leads to corruption, and ultimately destruction.

Welcome to the US version of the Chinese Communist Party.   Power and control above all else.

I remember the days when POTUS and the other branches of government always tried to uphold and respect the law. This crew is doing everything they can to BREAK THE LAW!

It’s just what scammers do.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

The screws are being tightened and Trump won't be able to bs his way out of it.

It's the US - everybody sues everybody

Deutsche Bank has learned its lesson: Play with Trump, and you get burned. Any individual, any institution.

So let’s just give the last 10 years of the family financial transactions to partisan politicians to leak to CNN? nope.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Wanting to check the financial history of a man proven to have committed fraud isn't really a radical idea.

When was that? I thought that kind of thing stopped around the time of Moses.

I don't get all the legalistic attacks on Trump. It was pretty clear what kind of guy he was when he was voted in as president. Apparently the American public preferred that to the alternatives. Does that not send out a big message? Why not criticize his policies (or lack of), offer alternatives, and look for a better candidate for the next election?

Except that actually, the American public didn't. Check the popular vote results.

Looks like he’s just won League 2 with Morecambe or someone....

As an outsider, it seems that the US is locked into a "He says/She says" type of dispute. Is this the real face of Democracy ?

Except that actually, the American public didn't. Check the popular vote results.

Enough voted for him to be elected. He won in a majority of states. He had broad support across a place called the "United States".

I don't like the guy. I suspect many who voted for him feel the same. What does that say about the alternatives? Messing about with probes and subpoenas seems petty (memories of Bill Clinton). Where are the great future leaders? More important, where are the great ideas?

Really, I think the same what the Democrats are doing right now, way overstepping their constitutional authority and by trying to drag this out as long as they can.

And you're still advocating for this. Disgusting.

And you support what the Democrats are doing, repulsive.

You've sold your soul as an American just like the rest of the so called GOP.

No, we just don’t believe in being forced into liberal mind controlled slavery and one-sided group think.

True, but that's not the same thing as saying "the American public preferred him to the alternatives." Three million more Americans preferred the alternative. I know Trump supporters like to think they speak for most Americans, but face it - they don't. The one good thing about that 2016 election is that no one can criticize the majority of the American public for the way it turned out.

Sue them! Block them! Stay the course!

But Democrats believe the investigation has revealed serious wrongdoing by Trump and have not yet decided on whether they want to push for impeachment.

The Democrats decision to impeach was made several years ago when it finally became obvious that Hillary had lost her 2nd attempt to become POTUS. The only thing the Democrats are missing is actual evidence of an impeachable offense. Now that it's obvious that the much harolded Mueller report would not provide Democrats with the evidence that the Democrats repeatedly claimed it contained, the Democrats have desperately decided to continue their harassment by demanding bank records. Not bank records of specific crimes, but all bank records in a desperate attempt to find something, anything, that will make it look like the Democrats hadn't wasted the taxpayers money harassing Trump for the last several years.

According to the U.S. legal system, everyone is entitled to defend themselves from government harassment. A government group issues a subpoena, and the target of the government group's investigation/fishing expedition is allowed to fight the subpoena in court. Democrats, and their pet media outlets, then object to any objections made by the intended targets of the Democrats harassment.

It things were different, things would be different. Hillary won the election that none of the Presidential candidates were running for. Congratulations Hillary. There has never been a popular vote for POTUS in the U.S.. After being personally involved in four presidential elections, Hillary was well aware of rules.

Democrats, Hillary worshippers, and foreigners like to think that they speak for most Americans, also. If the U.S. had run a popular vote for President, which they, by law, can not do, the vote totals may have been very different.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

HonestDictator - @ Arrestpaul. You do realize that some Democratic voters in the US did also vote for Trump to "fight aganst the establishment" ?

What was that about thinking that someone speaks for all Americans?

Perhaps you intended to address this issue for Simon Foston's post instead of mine? He's the one who stated, "I know Trump supporters like to think they speak for most Americans, but face it - they don't". Neither Trump supporters, or Hillary worshippers, actually speak for most Americans. They only speak for themselves.

Whether people like it no not, Trump was elected to be President for all Americans. Democrats would like people to think that Hillary would have won the election if the U.S. had a different method for electing Presidents.  If things were different, things would be different. Many more people may have voted in their individual states if a popular vote for President actually existed. The U.S. has only one method for electing it's President. Team Hillary is well aware of how Presidential elections are held in the U.S..

Many Democrats did vote for Trump because they really didn't want HIllary. Either they didn't trust Hillary, or they were upset with how the Democrat Party treated Bernie's campaign, or they wanted to clean the swamp, or some other reason.
