Hillary for Guantanamo, with no conjugal visits. No problem for Bill!

Geez Serrano, no an email problem is as bad as a terrorist who has blown things up? How many more democrats do you plan to put there? And then who is next? Gays? Labor activists? People who wear glasses? (This was a problem in Cambodia, remember--they were too intelligent, see?) what about the MILLIONs of emails that vanished during the Bush regime? And the ONE trillion dollars that were suddenly unaccounted for and next day 9/11 and poof that problem disappeared fast.

..."based on the primary popular vote totals, the Electoral College vote looks like this: Clinton 244, Trump 294."

You don't even pretend to live in reality, do you?

Try it sometime. It's a place you have to do honest work in, and that doesn't flatter your every desire, but leaves you with the sense that you have actually lived and loved, succeeded and failed.

And you don't spend every moment pretending that typing out "LOL" means anything but that you are expressing your hatred, your impotence, your fear.

How hollow, yet bitter and petty you and the Trump crew here manage to make those three caps! You're all so transparent, but it isn't nice to see what's inside!

So if the election is rigged and he WINS, can I complain Donald?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

When Trump was ahead in the polls in the GOP primaries, he couldn't stop bragging about it.

Now that Trump is behind in the polls to Hillary, he says that the system is rigged.

What an immature and irresponsible man he is, but then, we already knew that.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump suggested Monday that he fears the general election “is going to be rigged” — an unprecedented assertion by a modern presidential candidate.

An unprecedented assertion.

... one he did not back up with any immediate evidence

Do you realize what Trump has just tried to do? And how thorougly un-American it is? Without a shred of evidence, Trump is purposely poisoning the well of American trust in the integrity of our electoral system. If scummy demagogues like Trump don't win, it's only because the system is rigged against him.

Trump is attempting to maximize the number of Americans who might turn to violence if the election does not come out their way. In my opinion, his words are fomenting violence. Normally and traditionally in the United States, a losing candidate does their best to tamp down bad feelings on the part of their supporters, and tries not to engage in conspiracies. Trump is doing exactly the opposite, months before the election. Imagine that: Trump actually tries to undermine the faith that we Americans have in our democratic processes!

The GOP has made a horrendous mistake in choosing Trump, a failure of historic proportions. He has proven himself totally unfit to hold the office of president.

Of course the powers that be are nervous and will do and say anything to confuse the people into believing that Mr.Trump cannot take care of the U.S.A.

They needn't bother. He's doing that perfectly well by himself.

"Explain exactly why it's unquestionable."

Did you miss the WikiLeaks DNC emails? lol

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

It's unquestionable that the Democratic primaries were manipulated against Sanders, but go ahead and bury your heads in the sand like the proverbial ostriches.

Explain exactly why it's unquestionable.

They both do, part of the game. The difference, Hillary is just not good at it. LOL

Well, at least she doesn't ...laugh out loud every time she thinks she's said something funny. As for talking trash. here's the latest Trump classic, proving he is indeed way ahead of the game:

“Don’t worry about that baby – I love babies,” the Republican candidate said, to the mother of a baby that had started crying during his stump speech. “I love babies. I hear that baby crying, I like it. What a baby, what a beautiful baby. Don’t worry, don’t worry. The mom’s running around, like, don’t worry about it, you know? It’s young and beautiful and healthy and that’s what we want.”

But then later on...

“Actually, I was only kidding – you can get the baby out of here,” Trump said firmly. “That’s all right, don’t worry. I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking. That’s OK. People don’t understand. That’s OK.”

LOL.

Because they do not exist under the age of perhaps fifty or sixty; it's ugliness and nothing else.

Over fifty or sixty equals ugliness and nothing else? That sounds a lot like an ageist point of view.

Never forget that the single largest demographic, that actually shows up at the polls and votes is, white and over sixty. This group influences American society in a huge way and without their endorsement things like the Equal Rights Act and even the Obama Presidency would have never happened.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

We already know the election is rigged. That is because they use voting machines instead of paper ballots. The voting machines are easily rigged, and no one finds out about it.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

You sound like you've got no problem with trash-talk, not to mention parroting the line of a religious crackpot babbling about Lucifer and grain in pyramids.

I'd rather they do it directly than behind my back, also, I could care less what or how people worship.

He does talk trash, doesn't he?

They both do, part of the game. The difference, Hillary is just not good at it. LOL

"He's putting forward the idea that Beelzebub is female."

"Yeah and are Dems that thin-skinned that they have to run around and wave their finger in the air, wanting and waiting to give a lecture, "Now you stop calling her names" NEWSFLASH! It's an election and both sides need to stop complaining"

You sound like you've got no problem with trash-talk, not to mention parroting the line of a religious crackpot babbling about Lucifer and grain in pyramids.

He does talk trash, doesn't he? And yes, HillatyBenghaziROFL.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Sure, Hillary got a nice bounce from her convention and the president of the United States and the First Lady, lol, but, based on the primary popular vote totals, the Electoral College vote looks like this: Clinton 244, Trump 294.

Oh my...

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

He's putting forward the idea that Beelzebub is female.

Yeah and are Dems that thin-skinned that they have to run around and wave their finger in the air, wanting and waiting to give a lecture, "Now you stop calling her names" NEWSFLASH! It's an election and both sides need to stop complaining.

Gender equality GOP style.

So how many Black females work in the White House under Obama.

On second thoughts it's probably just more trash, isn't it?

You have to expect the DNC to come up with a big "hot piping" mountain of it.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Trump always talk first, then talk again after his brainless campaign manager say maybe this way. they must be trying to figure how touch screen voting machine works right now,

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Ooh, ABC News is saying Hillary has a 9 point lead over Trump now! How long before that lead vanishes?

Hillary for Guantanamo, with no conjugal visits. No problem for Bill!

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

The Hil-bots are hot and heavy here. It's unquestionable that the Democratic primaries were manipulated against Sanders, but go ahead and bury your heads in the sand like the proverbial ostriches. Heil Hillary!

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

So bass, what do you think about the situation with Trump and Khan? At one point or another I've already read your cut and paste comments about Hillary, so at this point I'm more curious about your comments on the topic at hand. Don't worry, you can give a few words, throw in a "but", then go right back to pasting Hillary comments, but what are your very few words on Khan?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

" You have to be on serious hallucinogenics town to vote for a woman with a history of lies and deceptions and does without batting an eyelash and who's foundation is nothing but a hidden slush fund to enrich her and her husbands life."

How about some facts NOT trolled from some utterly dishonest right-wing place like Fox or Breitbart or Hannity?

Because it doesn't exist? HRC is certainly cleaner than Mr. Romney or Mr. McCain were, despite being grilled, investigated and insulted for 30-plus years.

Because you'd rather see the world burn down than admit ever being wrong - unless those you hate (a LONG list, indeed!) can be embarrassed 100 times more by it?

You're not funny, and you and your gang here offer nothing in the way of observation or information. Because that would show you up for what you are. Something evidently not allowed here, however metaphorically stated.

I haven't met or heard from a rational, honest American holding conservative political views in almost fifteen years now. Because they do not exist under the age of perhaps fifty or sixty; it's ugliness and nothing else.

Disgusting.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

"She's the devil"

Who said Trump is a misogynist? He's putting forward the idea that Beelzebub is female.

Gender equality GOP style.

On second thoughts it's probably just more trash, isn't it?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Yes, gerrymandering is official Republican policy. They've spent $30 million on ensuring congressional redistricting works out in their favor.

Question: When Harry Reid was Senate Majority leader, he was ignoring over 350 GOP legislations that were up for votes, he completely and purposely ignored them, all of them. You guys complain about gerrymandering from the GOP, but the DNC being partisan and unwilling to work with the opposition is ok, so basically, let's have a one party system and screw the people and their constituents, right?

Xenophobe. Misogynist. Nativist. Fascist. Bigot. Demagogue. Dystopian. Racist. Bully. Name caller.

He is? How?

These are all words that in one place or another, has described Donald Trump.

These are qualities that should not be allowed to be associated with the president of the United States. For Donald Trump, it isn't a rigging of the election that will defeat him. It is his lack of compassion and understanding of people, and incapability of realizing he is not qualified and unable to meet the demands of being a good president that he will lose.

Here we go again! Yes, it would be the rigging that would defeat him, of course. Hillary was on FOX the other day with Chris Wallace and lied her rear off on live TV, unbelievable. She said, she told the truth to Comey about her emails, totally contradicting what Comey said to Gowdy in the hearings.

The loss of reason and the demagoguery of his followers will not win the election for him. There are too many Americans who understand he is a terrible person, and not worthy of being president.

And there are many that would say the exact thing about Hillary. You have two choices, vote for a loudmouth or vote for a dishonest crook. I choose to vote for the loudmouth. You have to be on serious hallucinogenics town to vote for a woman with a history of lies and deceptions and does without batting an eyelash and who's foundation is nothing but a hidden slush fund to enrich her and her husbands life.

So, was it rigged too when the Republican Party won both Houses of Congress

Yes, gerrymandering is official Republican policy. They've spent $30 million on ensuring congressional redistricting works out in their favour.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trump is setting it up now so that if he loses, he cannot blame himself.

So, was it rigged too when the Republican Party won both Houses of Congress

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Just drove my son to meet his girlfriend at her juku and had a chance to discuss this with him (he's a sharp guy). He mentioned that Trump might try to do as much damage as possible going down, and it occurred to me that Trump might exit a few weeks before the election - say, in mid-October. As each state has their own laws governing balloting, this would leave him on the ballot but officially withdrawn. Thus, after receiving, say, 25% of the vote, he could claim, "Hey, I won that much and wasn't even running!"

Far fetched to be sure, but then, this is Trump.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

One thing is for sure, this clown car will honk, honk, honk against the dying of the light.

Three months of pure trash coming from Trump. His supporters must be ecstatic.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

It'll be interesting to see how many governments issue official travel advisories recommending people avoid the US the night of the election, and for the days after. Trump is already priming his extremist supporters to reject the election results, and even before he started riling them up and legitimizing their views on mainstream media daily, they'd been doing things like armed occupations and shooting at police. I have the sneaking feeling that America, in the days after the election results is going to be undergoing for real what the American media pretended Iran was undergoing after Ahmadinejad won reelection.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Politifact determined that Trump almost never tells the truth so "I have to be honest" means I am about to lie again. This is a guy who built his political base by lying about Obama being from Kenya. Which 50% of republicans still believe today. How sad is that?

Anyway, the Donald is starting to see that he is going to lose and lose badly He cannot accept that he is a loser so presto magic the election is rigged.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

I see that the majority of conments raise valid points concerning a (highly improbable, but theoretically possible) D.T presidency. Sure there are some who oppose Hillary, but im glad to see the majority is still opposing the delusions of someone who I supposes may mean the best, but through his ideas, words and actions not only hurt many millions of people but may, in a worst case scenario, launch a new era of which we had hoped to see the last many last decades ago.

But dont let anyone take this for granted, D.T must be defeated. Vote blue!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Think Don will self implode nd his gunning mate take over?

Good question, Dre - and also interesting is what would happen in that case. The best result a cursory search revealed was:

Since the time of Andrew Jackson's run for the presidency in 1828, individual political parties have had the job of filling any vacancy on their national ticket, either that of their presidential or vice-presidential candidate. If one of their candidates vacates the ticket after they are nominated, either because of death or withdrawal, the party selects a replacement. Both the Republican and the Democratic parties have rules in their bylaws governing how to fill the vacancy. The Party Chair calls a meeting of the National Committee, and the Committee members at the meeting vote to fill the vacancy on the ticket. A candidate must receive a majority of the votes to win the party's nod.

http://teachinghistory.org/history-content/ask-a-historian/20431

This indicates Pence would likely be chosen, but not necessarily (Cruz was the runner-up in the primaries). It would certainly be unprecedented: No nominated presidential candidate has ever died or dropped out between the nomination and the election. Will he? I'm usually good at predicting these kinds of things, but with Trump - honestly, I find it 50-50, not based on predictable evidence but simply due to his random recklessness (it would certainly be irresponsible and selfish, leading to a huge crisis, but with Trump, that only ups the odds he will).

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Rigged primaries were just a low and dirty move. Political corruption 101. If not Hillary, then throw Debbie W Shultz in jail. 6 months to a year ought do the trick. There should be some accountability. No one wants to arrest these people. Now if you want them arrested but no one is going to do anything about it then that is what you have to live with. Welcome to politics.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who has famously avoided giving a press conference for 240 days now, also doesn’t do a whole lot of sit-down interviews.

I bet non of the hilarity worshippers have pondered about this.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

“I’m afraid the election is going to be rigged, I have to be honest,”

Interesting use of the word 'honest'. What he means is, he can say something he doesn't believe but is safe because it is not factual and therefore cannot be proved to be dishonest.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Just how did this Gooney Bird ever manage to run a business? Lots of comments here. So, what do you think? Think Don will self implode nd his gunning mate take over? It isn't Don that looks as embarrassing as the republicans holding their noses and sticking their heads in the ground just so big biz can get the deregulation it wants, and the next supreme court judge is theirs. And they can also still find lobbying jobs when they get voted out. Fortunately the U.S. is more than politicians.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

It was rigged for Hillary last time and the person who was in charge of it all was hired by her the same day she was fired for rigging it!??

So yeah, its gonna be rigged again in any way that they can get away with.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

Considering how the Democratic primaries were revealed to have been skewed in Hillary’s favor with outright attempts to sideline Sanders, he probably is correct.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

Trump doesn't care whether the voting is fair or not; if it's rigged in his favor, he'll be all for it. Whether Hilary wins fair or not, he'll still claim it was rigged. Trump's strategy up to this point has been to whine, give speeches of doom and gloom, make people believe that only he can save us all and to divide the country, rather than to unite it. He's even shown to be a pathological liar, back-tracker, bridge-burner, and totally inept at policy and business.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Found it (in the Guardian) and it was Roger Stone!

"Roger Stone, a long time confidante of Trump, amplified these concerns in an interview with a far right wing radio show.

Stone said: “I think we have widespread voter fraud, but the first thing that Trump needs to do is begin talking about it constantly.” ... He also promised a “bloodbath” if the Democrats attempted to “steal” the election."

That's YOUR candidate in an American election? There's something wrong inside you. Very. Wrong.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

The more Turmp talks and the less impress for him.

It's like a football manager making excuses about a tired team before they compete in a cup final... the guy's a loon.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

He is like that one annoying kid that challenged you seriously to a game, but when he loses he casually says, it was just a game. He seems to be polishing his excuses in case he loses way beforehand.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

If I win, then the election was fair and square. If she wins, then it was rigged. Sounds like loser talk to me. Yep. Three more months of this crybaby and then he can go back to starring in TV shows.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

corner and will crucify Trump every chance they can and protect Hillary to no end. actually, the press have no need to crucify Trump, Mr Trump has clearly shown he does that best to himself!

What a joke the USA has become

Are you 80 years old in a nursing home and haven't driven in 20 years? Well just wheel yourself down to the nearest DMV (the ones the GOP hasn't closed) and renew that puppy. Are you 20 and never had a car so you have no license? Hitch a ride with a friend for a 3-hour drive to the nearest card issuing body. Are you a single Mom who takes the bus and has a kid and works regular business hours during the week? Well, sorry. Disabled? Come on down. Gotta stop all this fraud.

SuperLib, well said. Voting has nothing -- absolutely nothing -- to do with driving an automobile. It is disgusting that Motor Vehicle departments have any part at all in the election process, whether as registration locations for voters or as issuers of identification demanded of voters.

If municipalities are so determined to identify voters when they come to vote, then have city hall prepare identification for the voters on their rolls, which can be brought to the polling places and marked or surrendered once the vote is cast. That way everyone -- young, old, poor, rich, disabled -- gets exactly the same service.

I sometimes think voting should be done entirely by mail so that every voter has the same opportunity. Mail a ballot to everyone on the voting rolls, and the voters mail the ballots back with their desired candidate selected.

This might be a problem for the homeless, but we could have them register somewhere (shelters, perhaps) and pick up their ballots there. It would take longer to count the votes, but it would be worth it.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Yeah, and we could be invaded by Martians tomorrow!

Great scapegoat to use in case he losses. Just more ways to stir up anger and resentment.

SuperLibAUG. 02, 2016 - 01:06PM JST

You've seriously not heard about Republican efforts to restrict voting in an effort to disenfranchise lower income people?

The Redistricting Majority Project, set up by the Republican State Leadership Committee? Well, it wasn't a Democrat who wrote, "He who controls redistricting can control Congress."

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Fre Okin: One possibility that could bolster Trump's claim of rigging was a very long queue in Phoenix Arizona primary a few months ago.

You've seriously not heard about Republican efforts to restrict voting in an effort to disenfranchise lower income people?

Why do you think they are eliminating same day registration, reducing early registration, banning voter registration drives, removing outreach programs to youngsters in schools, banning voting the Sunday before an election, refusing to take student IDs from out of state students, moving polling places off of college campuses, keeping the ones with no public transport access, the list is endless.

The courts this week just struck down GOP laws in 4 states with one judge saying that it targets black people with pinpoint precision, to which GOPers threw up their hands in shock (SHOCK!) that people thought these "coincidences" were at all planned. I mean golly, they only requested data breaking down voting methods by race, who would have known that all of their new laws would, um, accidentally affect African Americans to a much greater extent? Boy that sure slipped by.

At least two Republican officials have gone on record to say the process is for the specific purpose to help Republicans win elections. More than one judge has said what we already know, which is that the GOP hasn't shown there is any real fraud and certainly hasn't shown that if there was, this would in any way remedy it. That means even if we use our imaginations and pretend voter fraud is the problem Republicans say it is, this still wouldn't solve it.

What will it do? It will require that millions, literally millions, of Americans to obtain IDs.

Why does it persist? Just wait for the responses from Republicans here. They will literally say that voter fraud is a problem and that this will help solve it. Yes, despite everything I've said, despite all the studies and evidence to the contrary (even ones done by Republicans), despite the only only people who claim this point of view are Republicans, they will read each and every word of this post and respond by saying, "But, voter fraud..." Well trained with no shame.

There might be attempts to discourage Republicans from voting in certain areas with deliberately lesser amount of voting stations just like what happen in Arizona. Even deliberate power outages in targeted areas to deny Trump a victory cannot be ruled out.

And here's what happened in reality courtesy of the GOP: "But the distribution of polling places in Maricopa County shows that there were significantly fewer polling places in areas with high minority populations. In primarily Anglo-communities like Cave Creek, there was one polling place per 8,500 residents compared to inner city Phoenix which had one polling place per 108k residents, many of them Latinos." I think Trump will be OK.

They blamed it on the high number of independents who voted, then they walked back on that when someone showed them that turnout was actually less than forcasted. Next they said it was to save money, then when asked how much was saved, they couldn't answer, and again walked back their comments. The funny thing is that these laws were designed to stop low income people, minorities, and the young from voting (people who traditionally vote Democrat), but the new Trump voters will be in for a little surprise.

I vote by mail so I could put a crayon in my dog's mouth and have him choose my vote for President. No ID needed. But of course changing that would be a burden to (white) voters so we won't worry about fraud there. Let's worry about Hector driving to 3 separate polling places in one day, pretending to be someone else, and voting for Clinton all 3 times.

It just might change the outcome.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

the whole electoral college thing is a farce to rig elections to come out like the politicians want it to come out anyway.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

It's starting to sink in that he's going to lose, but the landslide that it's going to be will prove beyond a doubt that it was in fact NOT rigged, but that he lost because he is not a worthwhile candidate and is just a horrible human being who has alienated many in his own party, let alone thrown out the black, female, and LGBT votes, as well as votes by anyone of South American origin and immigrants in general. In fact, it was just in the news the other day that police in some communities have been targeting black people and demanding that they produce all sorts of documents of proof of residence and whatever before voting -- something they did not do for white people -- in order to dissuade them from voting in recent elections and to keep them down in November, and have closed a lot of DMVs and other voting stations in largely African American communities, again to provide them with no place to vote. So, THAT, is rigging things. If Donald is blaming anyone for 'rigging' things the other way, he should look in the mirror and fire himself.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

I cannot understand all the Trump haters vs the Hillary haters. They are both flip side of the same coin. The politics of America is lost and needs to re-group. Independence is the only way forward as Obama will most likely be the last President the U.S will have. If you are an independent person you THINK for yourself, you GOVERN yourself and most importantly you BELIEVE in your ability to make the right decisions regarding elections, community and well being. Media brainwashes the people into believing what THEY want you to believe.Question Authority, research and don't rush to conclusions until you educate yourself and understand the real story,NOT the spin. BOTH parties are guilty of this! Understand that you are strong enough to stand up for yourself without putting others down and take your destiny into your own hands by INDEPENDENTLY thinking whats right or wrong with the choices you will make for your future.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

MarkGAUG. 02, 2016 - 07:22AM JST

The fact is the primaries were rigged.

The fact is that you have nothing to back up that claim except some emails, and all the writers of those emails seem to do is complain about Sanders. What did the DNC actually, actively do to rig the primaries? You don't know, do you?

2 ( +6 / -4 )

“I’m afraid the election is going to be rigged, I have to be honest,”

Does he have evidences to back his claim or just making things up and play that populism joker card once more to seduce his electorate ?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

So the common consensus here is the campaign will be run honestly. And the DNC did not 'fix' the primaries.

Major wealth doners are funding the Clinton campaign while Trump is running on pennies to the dollar compared to Clinton. Which group is more influential?

Can ANY of you liberal progressives see the truth?

Russia is tied to Clintons. Find the ties to Trump. The Middle East is tied to Clinton yet she want gender equality!

The list can continue for hours, can any Clintonista see just 1% of her faults?

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

Sounds like someone's going through his monthly cycle again. That or it's a coded message to his Soviet handlers for Russia to deliberately rig or fix the election. A true traitor

2 ( +3 / -1 )

@Laguna

It is a small world. Crooked politicians learn from others the world over. It had happened in an Asian country I won't name here. Ballot boxes were tampered during a deliberate blackout. If it happen in US, it will be a little more sophisticated perhaps with massive traffic jam after work to discourage late voting. Sorry voting booth closed!

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Well Bush rigged it, so why not give the dems a chance at it.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

its gonna be rigged sure the elite dont want Trump in charge just another puppet they can control be prepared for no positive change at all Bernie had the right Idea but like I said the elite dont want change only the status quo and go on doing business as usual.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

One possibility that could bolster Trump's claim of rigging was a very long queue in Phoenix Arizona primary a few months ago.

Just like the Trump-run Republican Convention became the first one in the history of Gallup polling to result in negative ratings for the candidate. It was rigged!!!

1 ( +2 / -1 )

He really is getting ever more ridiculous. and the alternative is just as awful.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Puttinwas admiring Trump is genius. Then Trump started to tell Russia hacking. So, after several back and forth, putting stopped admiring Trump.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

There might be attempts to discourage Republicans from voting in certain areas with deliberately lesser amount of voting stations just like what happen in Arizona.

Good point, Fre! - I mean, not what you said, but how Trump (and therefore his parroting supporters) will present his defeat as rigged.

Arizona is heavily Republican. It always has been. Its governor is one of the most conservative in the US and was on Trump's VP shortlist. Both of its senators are Republican, and while one (Flake) has not expressed support, the other (McCain) has - despite his being attacked for having been captured in Vietnam. Who do you suppose suppressed GOP voters? You might want to look more closely (as the Justice Department has been doing) at states which, through burdensome voter ID requirements, allegedly attempt to suppress voting by minorities, the young, and the elderly - typical Democratic constituencies.

Even deliberate power outages in targeted areas to deny Trump a victory cannot be ruled out.

Wow! Anything to back that up with?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

and probably should be in jail Why? How about Obama? Because he faked his passport as some people believe. What do you think?

Why do Republicans hate rich people suddenly? Previously they loved them.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

@nishikat...and probably should be in jail Why? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK2K5v5bm0Q Wikileaks has tons more evidence. I'm not American, so looking in from the outside without any bias. Like I said, good luck with whoever you get.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Yeah, yeah GOP, it's all a big conspiracy. Let's all enjoy another prosperous 8 years with the Dems in charge. Thank goodness there are (just) enough intelligent people in the US to realize this!

One possibility that could bolster Trump's claim of rigging was a very long queue in Phoenix Arizona primary a few months ago.

http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-35900011 "In some spots across the county, voters waited for up to five hours on Tuesday."

There might be attempts to discourage Republicans from voting in certain areas with deliberately lesser amount of voting stations just like what happen in Arizona. Even deliberate power outages in targeted areas to deny Trump a victory cannot be ruled out.

He's just predicting himself not winning, and trying to save face by saying this in advanced. Still not ignoring the DNC rigging though.

I wouldn't be surprised. If the justice system can easily let a presidential candidate off the hook, block and sabotage another candidate to take him out of the election cycle, then it's not far fetched to say, Trump's accusations should be met with some caution. The system is rigged, we all know that, Sanders knows it, everyone except Hillary loyalists know it...or at least won't admit it. Democrats will go to know end to stay in power, for them, it's not about playing fair, it never has been. I do think the Dems will try their best to rig the system by any means necessary.

Don't need those kind of Rubuplicans. Ie; Kasich, Jebb B, Ted, Fiorina, Mc Caine. They're losers. Sore losers. Trump won fair n square. He was nominated @RNC. The (R) were far from "rigged".

Have you ever considered becoming a speech (i.e., Twitter) writer for Trump? You've clearly demonstrated not only the verbal skills but also have the message down to a ... T! As the rats jump ship, what you wrote is likely the message Trump will see them off with.

Swim away! Distance yourself! That will be the theme of August.

Good. Don't need those kind of Rubuplicans. Ie; Kasich, Jebb B, Ted, Fiorina, Mc Caine. They're losers. Sore losers. Trump won fair n square. He was nominated @RNC. The (R) were far from "rigged". So take that to the bank & cash it.

My, this is proceeding rather faster than I had expected - and so undoubtedly too to the Republicans in Congress. Choices will have to be made, and soon: Support Trump because he is the GOP standard-bearer, or deny support because that is all a decent person can do (or, in most cases, to save one's political career.) Like the Titanic sinking, many will be sucked down to oblivion as this behemoth subsumes. Swim away! Distance yourself! That will be the theme of August.

and probably should be in jail Why?

Rigged primaries were just a low and dirty move. Political corruption 101. If not Hillary, then throw Debbie W Shultz in jail. 6 months to a year ought do the trick. There should be some accountability.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

Trumps trying to bail in case of loss from his own arrogance and stupidity. Ridiculous.

and probably should be in jail Why?

HRC and them dems have themselves to blame. Do you think Trump wants get screwed over unfairly like Sanders was? The democratic primaries, "rigged" for HER pleasure.

Listening to the democrats recently is like hearing the adventures of a (lying) Pinocchio.

-17 ( +3 / -20 )

This sounds like some calculated positioning from Trump and is yet more of the tiresome "attack the other side" rather than "present a vision to vote for" politics. However, the Democratic primaries sound like they were rigged, as did the Bush jr elections 10 to 15 years ago. "Faulty" voting machines and a politically appointed Supreme Court are not the will of the people. Trump will get more traction than he deserves with these "rigged" comments because of such history.

With all the money in politics, US politics in particular, the whole system is rigged even when a candidate does get the most votes. Pay enough for lobbying and you'll get what you want.

I don't know how much it actually means, but I find it interesting that the Koch brothers do not support Trump. Right wing hawks don't seem to support him either, so Trump scores points there on the enemy's enemy is my friend axis. If Trump genuinely were an isolationist, that would be huge for the world. Far better than Clinton.

If there's still time for Sanders to stand on an independent/Green ticket, I hope he changes his mind.

Clinton doesn't even need to campaign, she could go on vacation and watch her election win on the news (and I'm not a Democrat)

My sentiments exactly... Or we could get enough people to vote for some Independent candidate that nobody knows about and really throw the system for a loop!

There are several way of controlling a situation. One very effective way is to keep your adversaries off balance by throwing completely unexpected items at them. Then when they are off balance, get them to fall where it is to your advantage. Not a leadership style I would recommend, but if done properly, it can be extremely effective! Trump is a master at this. Yes - this last significant accusation will cause a reaction and Trump will carefully study the reaction to see how he can manipulate it to his advantage! The best counter is to be careful and measured in your reaction.

As for rigging US election, what about Bush in Florida, and the present voting ID requirements! Trump is good at getting what he wants, but not good for USA.

I feel sorry for America. They have to choose between someone who is an idiotic loose cannon, and someone who is proven to be corrupt to the highest level, and probably should be in jail. Good luck with this election.

-4 ( +6 / -10 )

Really America, do you want this guy as your president, with his finger on the button? Clinton doesn't even need to campaign, she could go on vacation and watch her election win on the news (and I'm not a Democrat)

The more the orange opens his mouth....

" Trump is suggesting the system is rigged so he doesn't have to admit defeat when he loses in November. "

Nope, he is suggesting that there are forces who are trying to rig the system to prevent an outsider like him to win and upset the corrupt apple cart. And unless you have been living under a rock, you have seen the endless dirty tricks used both against Sanders (the other outsider) as well as Trump, from BOTH establishment parties.

-14 ( +3 / -17 )

Why is it Trump is linked to Russia when the fact is the Clintons has a certain link to Russia with Clinton Cash connections. And Trump mearly said Putin is a strong leader while Hillary hit that Russian rest button as madam secretary.

Trump asked Russia to release the Hillary hacked emails from her unsecured closet server. I'll agree with Trump, they probably were hacked and they probably have those 33,000 emails Hillary deleted.

Putin made a deal with Obama in 2012 with the partial camera take with Obama saying he will have more flexibility after he's reelected.

I'm looking forward to the debates. It's no good whining about the dates or the format. Three rounds of Crooked Hillary vs. Gobshite Donald should be top entertainment.

So the khan family thing is the new MSM meme now eh?

She said she is still too grief-stricken by her son’s death.

12 years after his death and you can't honor your son by saying a few words? Maybe Trump was right.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Trump is not wrong to perceive the walls closing in. I think the media have finally realized they've milked his bizarre antics for as much attention as they safely can, and that it's time to ratchet up the negative coverage and turn enough voters away to ensure he doesn't win in November.

That said, fate moves in strange ways. If a couple of ISIS hit squads would stage an "October surprise" on one or more soft targets in the US, Trump would start tweeting, "See? I told you so! Vote for me and make America safe again!" And the election would be up for grabs.

Hang on, folks. It's going to be a wild ride for the next three months.

He might be thinking voters chop off their fingers and use these to place on tooouch screen to. Wright signatures.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Trump talks like a whiny loser. I've never seen the likes of it in any campaign, and I've been following them all since LBJ-Goldwater in '64.

Unbelievable.

11 ( +15 / -4 )

Wow, he's already getting his speech conceding defeat ready!!

7 ( +11 / -4 )

If an elderly relative of mine (and Trump is after all 70), started coming out with statements like this, I would consider sending him to a specialist for a mental assessment.

Running around saying "I heard this" and "I heard that" is the sign of a muddled mind.

13 ( +16 / -3 )

Should have written "lose" in my last post, cuz that's what will happen

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Trump then asserted that November’s general election may not be on the up-and-up.

In other words he senses there is a possibility he will not get what he wants and is already making excuses...

12 ( +19 / -7 )

Well, he can always go live in Russia afterwards... I'm sure its much fairer over there!

9 ( +17 / -8 )

“I’m afraid the election is going to be rigged, I have to be honest,”

More like he's afraid he's going to loose by a landslide because he too damned scarey

16 ( +25 / -9 )

Trump is suggesting the system is rigged so he doesn't have to admit defeat when he loses in November. Trump is also whining about the dates for the Presidential Debates. I'm sure he'll try to weasel out of those too because Hillary's going to make him look like a fool (that's not hard to do though) and he's scared to death to debate her. Trump paraphrased, what's the nuclear triad?, I get my foreign and military advice by watching "the shows", I've sacrificed a lot....built great structures, created jobs, blah blah blah. What a complete and utter idiot! His disparaging comments about the Khan family show his true self - a heartless, soulless, narcissistic. Hopefully, people will wake up and realize this guy is lacking a moral compass and is completely self-serving.

May seek assistance from UN to safeguard the electoral process (!)

'Rigged' has joined 'free stuff', 'email', Benghazi', 'tools of the MSM', 'global elite', 'warmonger', 'terrorists hate freedom', among others as cornerstone terms in the lexicon of right wing extremists and the hard of thinking.

14 ( +24 / -10 )

The fact is the primaries were rigged. Fact two, the media is in the liberal progressives corner and will crucify Trump every chance they can and protect Hillay to no end.
