Trump now has his hands on the "Nuclear Football". Be afraid, be very afraid

-2 ( +12 / -14 )

January 20, 2017. A day that will live in infamy. Trump's at the helm of the sinking ship as it crosses the Rubicon. Happy Trails, y'all!

5 ( +14 / -9 )

Trump and his family deserves the exact respect he gave Obama and his family.

19 ( +24 / -5 )

Tom Barrack, the head of Trump’s inaugural committee told CNN. “I think you’re going to see a shift from candidate to world leader. I think he’s feeling the weight of it.”

Hah, people have been saying he'd do that since he won the primary and the only evidence we've seen is that he's gotten worse.

“Wanting him to fail is like wanting the plane to crash but you’re on the plane,” he said.

Would that someone had mentioned these words of wisdom to the Republicans 8 years ago when they made the commitment to obstruct Obama in every possible way and make the nation suffer for his victory.

ROFL! Whatever! The unhinged far lefts outrage and the Washington establishments anxiety and angst is my ultimate joy and pleasure, I am so happy, I feel like vomiting!

Trump and his family deserves the exact respect he gave Obama and his family.

I wouldn't expect any less from Dems or the radical alt left, but as long as Obama is gone and the Dems are NOT in charge after 8 years of grief and misery any criticism coming our way is like little droplets of water sliding off a raincoat. Thank heavens! Wine chilled and ready to go and getting that pizza ready later.

-13 ( +10 / -23 )

@bass but as long as Obama is gone

Now that he's no longer president will you drop your daily anti-Obama rants? But in reading the pro-Trump, pro-Putin posts it's clear that what unites rightists are items on a negative agenda. (For numerous examples, read Trump's three main news outlets: Russia Today, Breitbart and FOX'news'.) It's much easier to get the masses to rally together to oppose something.

Could that be because rightists have nothing positive to PROpose? Or are they hiding their actual agenda? Stay tuned...

So what do you think? Trump's gonna touch off a nuke as part of inauguration fireworks?

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

Now that he's no longer president will you drop your daily anti-Obama rants?

Did you guys drop your Bush rants?

But in reading the pro-Trump, pro-Putin posts it's clear that what unites rightists are items on a negative agenda.

Pro Putin??

(For numerous examples, read Trump's three main news outlets: Russia Today,

I'm sorry, if you quote from RT, we just might as well end the conversation. You want to talk about the epitome of fake news and the right arm of the Kremlin, there you go.

Breitbart and FOX'news'.) It's much easier to get the masses to rally together to oppose something.

Well not only them, but WSJ, Washington Post etc. there are a few outlets that will be more fair to Trump and not one-sided.

Could that be because rightists have nothing positive to PROpose? Or are they hiding their actual agenda? Stay tuned...

When liberals try to be funny, I just have to shake my head.....

Trump sweeps into Washington with a wave and a salute

And not a moment to soon. God Bless the U.S.A.!

-4 ( +10 / -14 )

Then Trump veered into the territory of the unknowable to boast his cabinet selections had “by far the highest IQ of any cabinet ever.”

Sure man, sure! That's why they're breezing through the confirmation hearings by evading questions just like you did throughout the election. Even if they were intelligent, they still lack the necessary experience in their appointed fields.

It's like appointing a brain surgeon as the Head of Housing and Urban Development... Oh wait!

5 ( +11 / -6 )

Let us all wait and see what the American People have to say about Mr. Trump after 4 years!

6 ( +9 / -3 )

A lot of racists will be cheering tomorrow, that's for sure.

0 ( +13 / -13 )

ah the pride in welcoming a man who degenerates diasabled people, insults his nearest neighbor ( Mexico)says its ok to grab women by the pussy ,screams and shouts like a toddler when someone calls him out (twitter rants).Perfect reaso to break out the wine and pizza.Personally I think strong whiskey and some ketamine might be wiser.

A lot of racists will be cheering tomorrow, that's for sure.

Just give them time. lol

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/16/politics/white-nationalists-trump-losing-faith/

Hail Trump? White nationalists already losing faith in President-elect

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

It won’t include singer Jennifer Holliday, originally announced as one of the headliners. She backed out after an outcry from Trump critics.>

Thats a really nice partisan way to say that she received death threats, was called a race traitor and was attacked by several LGBT groups. Simply for agreeing to sing in a peaceful transition of power ceremony? Luckily Sam Moore is an old school DGAF guy and he will take her place.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

A lot of racists will be cheering tomorrow, that's for sure.

I would expect nothing less from Democrats and liberals, typical.

-4 ( +9 / -13 )

The fox in charge of the chicken coop. God help us all...

0 ( +10 / -10 )

I watched his speech. A bit incoherent and he wasn't really waving - more that Team America two handed "signal" that he does.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

God help us all...

He heard you, your prayers are answered, wait a few more hours.

-7 ( +6 / -13 )

"I think you’re going to see a shift from candidate to world leader. I think he’s feeling the weight of it.”

So now we're going to see a modern Marcus Aurelius instead of a p____y-grabbing, racist-rousing, disabled-people-mocking, catfight-loving, knob-joke-cracking caricature of Rodney Dangerfield?

Is that the transformation he's talking about?

5 ( +10 / -5 )

The only thing sweeter than seeing The Donald take the oath of office is listening to the lamentations of the left! I'm not sure how Trump will do as president, but I will say the same thing as when Obama took office: best of luck to him!

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

So now we're going to see a modern Marcus Aurelius instead of a p____y-grabbing, racist-rousing, disabled-people-mocking, catfight-loving, knob-joke-cracking caricature of Rodney Dangerfield?

Ok, so now that we got all that out of our system, tell us how you really feel?

Is that the transformation he's talking about?

It is to move forward and focus on the country and not worry about the whining and constant bantering of conceded, sulking grief stricken liberals.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

@bass It is to move forward and focus on the country and not worry about the whining and constant bantering of conceded, sulking grief stricken...

...posters like you for the last 8 years? Turnabout IS fair play. Or are you aping Trump and saying you can dish it out but can't take.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

“It’s going to be a remarkable couple of days,” Gingrich said. “Certainly this is the inauguration that no one in the news media was ready for". Could well be an understatement.

Wondering if Donald Trump is a brother (Freemasonry) - Ordo ab Chao, order out of chaos, is the 33rd degree of Freemasonry.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

The next few months should be interesting here on JT as the bevy of usual posters come to realize that they have to actually deal with the real world instead of pre-chewed, lightly salted and decaffeinated Obama fare.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

I hope my American friends shall never regret today for what they have witness.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

But if you think he, as a person, has the capacity to run a nation, you're either trolling or delusional. But what's done is done. He's in. I hope for the best, but I am worried.

Well, with all the businesses he owns worldwide, built an empire and was able to turn the political system on its head and win, millions would think otherwise.

...posters like you for the last 8 years?

Like me? So now I'm the bad guy? Don't hate the messenger, hat the message.

Turnabout IS fair play. Or are you aping Trump and saying you can dish it out but can't take.

Unlike liberals, I'm not a partisan and if Trump does something that is bad when it comes to policy, I'll call him out on it and he should be held to account, but at the same time, the left is just going absolutely bat bleep crazy and instead of focusing on getting the country back on track, the left is more focus with taking him down. So once again, the important thing for the left is not unity, it's ideology and that's sad.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

PTownsend; I think the difference is that there were very few, if any, personal attacks on President Obama or his family. At least as far as Bass and I were concerned. However, the constant petty demagoguing of Trump is really getting tiresome. Enough of the small fisted rants and move forward. Criticize the man for his policies, fair enough. But the childishness and faux outrage needs to be curtailed.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

@Atilla very few, if any, personal attacks on President Obama or his family

Beg to differ. How many posters, including one you mentioned, called the president a monkey, chimpanzee, etc. etc. etc.? If you're an American or the least bit familiar with US history you'll understand it can't get much more personal than that. How about the poster you mentioned who questioned whether Obama was in fact an American? How about him calling the president a liar? A tyrant?

Excellent point. Because the media and Hollywood was so in love with Obama that they just couldn't past this guys ego and for all his mistakes, the MSM would never call him out on any of it, his fellow Dems would never criticize or acknowledge many of his mistakes and would attack or demonize anyone that did.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

bass4funk

Well, with all the businesses he owns worldwide, built an empire and was able to turn the political system on its head and win, millions would think otherwise.

C'mon man, Trump casinos, Trump airlines , Trump University. As a super rich buisness owner he can afford to go off on stupid ideas. You want him taking chances like that as president?

Millions think differently and millions think the same way.

People are going crazy for a reason, look at his cabinet picks. We all know that one man doesn't do it all. But this team he's putting together doesn't look promising either.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

The establishment hegomonic cabal are probably freaking out today. The reins to their power have been cut. Sorry righties and lefties, no more useless wars and overthrowing countries to further their global dominance. It makes perfect sense that the tool of the cabal, the corporate MSM, would try to denigrate and delegitimize Trump. They are scared and desperate. And it shows.

I'm lovin it!

Oh happy daaaayss.......

Go Donald Go!

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

and would attack or demonize anyone that did.

There was such a shadow world political mass built up within the left side that when it finally came to light with the way HRC and the Democratic party handled Sanders, I think it opened a lot of people's eyes and scared them. The Clintons have been dirty and played dirty as far back as the Whitewater scandal that got no mention in the 2016 race. The fix was in to make HRC the Democratic nominee and all the strings were pulled to make it happen. You are seeing the blow back now that Trump upset that whole apple cart of Globalists and political machine plans. Chicago has had their little teapot model of this type of political machine for decades upon decades, If the same process had been able to get rolling in the POTUS process, it would have been disastrous for America.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Iradickle: could you expand on your idea that Trump's cabinet picks are so inferior? Perhaps you could enlighten us and tell us who you would have preferred?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

"Ebullient Trump fans were ready for a three-day party."

It's going to be an 8 year party.

Crazy: "Trump and his family deserves the exact respect he gave Obama and his family."

Obama, the worst president in history, did his level best to undermine Trump during the campaign, calling him unqualified, etc., and used taxpayer money to actively campaign for the most corrupt candidate in history.

“We’re hoping for good weather and hoping for some unity,” said Jon-Paul Oldham, a firefighter and father of four. He said everyone should want Trump to succeed.

“Wanting him to fail is like wanting the plane to crash but you’re on the plane,” he said."

Did you get that, JT posters?

Boy, Obama sure is making Hillary sweat, delaying her pardon until the last few hours, heh heh

I heard they finally got John Stamos' younger brother Richard to agree to sing "Loving You" at the inaugruation.

That is a pretty good score for Trump. He might not have all the talent in that family, but he can hit the high notes.

Oh, most definitely!

Millions think differently and millions think the same way.

People are going crazy for a reason, look at his cabinet picks.

No, the left are coming unhinged because, they have to get off their ***** and work and at least we have a president that is NOT afraid to speak his mind and is politically correct.

We all know that one man doesn't do it all. But this team he's putting together doesn't look promising either.

To the Trump haters, yes, it probably does.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

What in the name of lunatic fringes are you MSMing ( apart from Fox News ) about now? I'm talking about the idea of Trump the president as opposed to Trump the candidate. The statement by Barrack is basically saying that Trump will change his ways after entering office. I think any fair-minded person can say that Trump's Twiiter trash, birtherism, mocking of the disabled and the like wasn't what you expect from a president.

Do the Trump supporters think he can, or even should, change?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I hope he doesn't change, that's the allure and NO, we are not talking about the negative flaws that he and all off us have, but the bluntness and his unwillingness to be apologetic to political correctness.

I think any fair-minded person can say that Trump's Twiiter trash, birtherism, mocking of the disabled and the like wasn't what you expect from a president.

You guys on the left ever get tired of repeating the same old tiring liberal far left talking points that have been continuously debunked?

Do the Trump supporters think he can, or even should, change?

God, I hope not.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Meanwhile, the first fire has started just as I said they would. Clueless protestors on TV not even having any kind of message. A probably 10 year old kid screaming screw our president and claiming he started the fire. These people know no other way to protest except violence and fires?

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

President Trump, will be as good as any & a lot better than most. As far as i'm concerned todays democrats are sooooo far left they are dizzying to fathom. He means what he says when he talks about America First & THAT is long overdue. God Bless Him,his family & America.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

Trump veered into the territory of the unknowable to boast his cabinet selections had “by far the highest IQ of any cabinet ever.”

It'll make up for his.

You can hide under your bed if you want, but I'm popping the champagne. The pro-war candidate lost.

You can hide under your bed if you want, but I'm popping the champagne. The pro-war candidate lost.

Regardless of whether she was pro-war or not, all Trump's actions show him to be pro-war. He has only just taken up the presidency, and he's on the verge of war with China.

So your comment is pretty confusing, as you seem to be praising the hiring of a pro-war candidate instead ofa another potentially pro-war candidate.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

If the US is on the verge of war with China, why is the stock market still so high?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

he's on the verge of war with China

Absolutely nobody is saying that. Where on earth do you get your info?

Here on the ground in the states the protesters have started massing. From coast to coast they have come. Crowds and crowds of people who have put their lives on hold to come and protest the new president. What an expression of free speech and patriotism...it brings tears to my eyes. It's time like this I feel.....wait a minute! Oh sorry, I had an old 'Bastille Day' movie running on the TV. Well, anyway....perhaps later we will see the masses gather and protest. But right now, the situation is like the calm before the storm.....Oh! no, sorry again. I got the weather channel on this time. But I'll be sure to let you know about the forthcoming 'great protest' of the people(paid for by George Soros). After I come back from fishing of course.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Oh sorry, I had an old 'Bastille Day' movie running on the TV.

LOL

Wear a Donald mask while fishing and use an orange lure. Maybe the fish are lefties?

This is a gorgeous room. A total genius must have built this place.” Reporters covering Trump’s remark were removed from the room before the president-elect finished speaking.

Self compliment for self centered promoting business from censorship loving President. Conflict of interest has started before Inguration day. Is there second amendment of constitution for President can advertise and promote the business while he is free loading and enjoying Tax payers funded public event?

According common law, elected head of states should transfer his business management under independent blind trust for integrity and transparency. If the public official has refused and keep conflicting his official duties with private business affair, he or she will be impeached sooner than later.

Hopefully, it was the first and last time for promoting his hotel near White House. If not he will follow the cruel fate of President Park of SK.

The period of American greatness seems to be rapidly coming to an end. The Chump and his pal Putin are likely to do all that they can to destabilize the world. The rapid rise of China as a world leader may be not only inevitable, but necessary.
