a rocky first six months in office

what?! jobs... up. stocks... up. illegal immigrant deportations... up.

I think his first six months have been wonderfully successful. The negativity about Russia and other trivial social issues are drivel

A grand jury says otherwise, 'lil buddy.

Trump has nothing to show for a first screaming six months. Couldn't even repeal Obamacare. Positive job numbers are still riding on the coattails of the Obama administration.

How do you take a "working" vacation when you don't do a "working" work day?

Trump complained about Obama, a real president, and now he has golfed more times in 6 months than Obama did in three years. Remember when he said he would probably never leave the WHITE House because he would be working so hard.

He doesn't do anything but watch cable TV and twit lies on his phoney.

Who knew doing nothing was so hard? What a wuss.

I totally agree Dango bongToday

Jobs and stocks may be up. But anyone notice that the US Dollar is worth crap now?

Not only that, but ask yourself why stocks are up.

Someone should take the keys to all aircraft from Pres. Trump. He needs to stop going on "away missions."

This guy has survived everything the establishment has thrown at him.

It's got plenty more to throw at him.

He ran on a campaign of rocking the boat and he has kept is promise.

Mostly, it appears, by accident or mistake.

The president has been working, the man sleeps about 4-5 hours a day, but that work is being overshadowed by this farce witch hunt and the second reason is congress for some reason seem they can't do anything on their own, so naturally that and add to that the daily leaks and the blood thirsty MSM it's all tiring and the president needs a break, I'm astounded that the man didn't leave sooner. but I wish him a good rest and a reinvigorated return to take on these vultures.

Trump complained about Obama, a real president, and now he has golfed more times in 6 months than Obama did in three years.

I don't know about the real president part, that's debatable, but even Obama as much as I thought he was one of the worst needed a break, all presidents do, they are human after all.

Remember when he said he would probably never leave the WHITE House because he would be working so hard.

Yes and he's right. He's working hard to stop these forces that are fishing for Tuna in a smelly creek.

He doesn't do anything but watch cable TV

The last president watched a lot of TV as well and tried to take on a major network, nothing different.

17 days aint bad. i struggle for 4 here.

Silly to assume that because he sleeps only 4-5 hours he's working hard. He's not. The man's already spent more than 3x the number of days on the jobs as his predecessor.

About the only bill he's signed is one he categorized as 'seriously flawed.'

He gives next to no press conferences, has nothing intelligent or worthwhile to say when interviewed.

He may sleep little, but that's only because it takes a while to put on fake spray tan, fume at news, and then go on a twitterstorm.

And 3x more the effort to combat the crazy forces that are trying to dislodge this president, so it's understandable.

About the only bill he's signed is one he categorized as 'seriously flawed.'

Well, that's not his fault, that's the fault and inability of congress

He gives next to no press conferences, has nothing intelligent or worthwhile to say when interviewed.

I wouldn't either if I had an obnoxious press that had an agenda and not trying to ask legitimate questions or trying to get a gotcha moment on camera.

He may sleep little, but that's only because it takes a while to put on fake spray tan, fume at news, and then go on a twitterstorm.

Well, at least he doesn't put his chin up in the air points a people and lectures them like little children talking every five minutes that we need to invest in flying cars by the end of 2020.

"Prosperity is coming back to our shores because we are putting America WORKERS and FAMILIES first."

But not at Trump properties. When it's Trump's money, foreign workers come first. Buy American is something for the little people in his fan base to take care of.

Maybe that's why so many people were angry at the last admin. they didn't care about the little people in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

I'd be careful accusing a past president of speaking to an audience as if they are children. Trump has the ability to dumb down the already childish babble of Fox and Friends for his audiences of whooping boneheads at rallies.

Why? If the shoe fits....

Trump has the ability to dumb down the already childish babble of Fox and Friends for his audiences of whooping boneheads at rallies.

I wish the previous president would have done the same with Mika and Joe.

In the interests of non-partisanship, do you wish the previous president had launched a childish trash attacks on the trash MSM Fox muppets like Hannity?

Oh, so you think the public should just swallow the trash that the left media in their hate and childish outbursts spew in the faces of the public?

Oh, so you think the public should just swallow the trash that the left media in their hate and childish outbursts spew in the faces of the public?

No, I think people should treat trash from both sides with the contempt it deserves. The volume of one compared to the other is irrelevant.

Why do you refuse to attack the trash right? Trash is trash.

Did you ever hear me mention Alex Jones?

No, but you do defend Fox. You even said Fox offered a balanced view.

LMAO.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

No, but you do defend Fox.

And you defend the previous president, and?

You even said Fox offered a balanced view.

LMAO.

They also say, "We report, you decide" libs always leave that part out.

Low-energy Trump is taking a break from his general routine of not getting anything done to not get anything done with even more intensity. Meanwhile, the S&P, Dow Jones, and NASDAQ have been growing at a fairly consistent rate since 2009 and Trump's apologists want to give responsibility for that to be the man who was president for the most recent 6 months of it, not the man who was President for the first 8 years of it.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

maybe he's preparing to attack NK or Iran?

Right, except when he's lecturing boy scouts about how fantastic he is it's pretty hard to make any sense of what he's saying.

We can get all the hate and childish outbursts we want right here. Although the left wing media can write properly.

You have a nice break Donny, you take all the time you need. We're in no rush to see you back.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I wasn't aware that he had accrued two full weeks of vacation time during his first six months on the job. How soon is he eligible for early retirement?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Pointing out how little he sleeps is nooot a good thing. When you don't get more sleep than that, you might as well be drunk. You'll be poor at making decisions, irrational... I guess it does explain a lot though.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

the man sleeps about 4-5 hours a day,

A sign of how inefficient he is with his time. He should spend less of it tweeting and boasting, and more on real policy (not only the ones that help benefit the richest 1%).

3 ( +4 / -1 )

"Congress for some reason seem they can't do anything on their own, so naturally that ..."

More Republicans than Democrats, Libertarians and Green Party politicians put together currently...just saying. Should we vote these incumbents out of office next time?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I know at least 2 things Trump does, he tweets and plays golf. But of course he is entitled to a break once in a while: he is not that young anymore, which signals another problem. It's becoming increasingly hard to distinguish truth from fiction.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Interestingly his return to the WH coincides with the deadline for US Citizens to have left NK.... sounds a bit ominous.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Ask the NSA, they spy on everyone.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I love it how people switch sides over presidential vacations every time the presidency switches parties.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Hate??? Seriously? If that were true people across the country wouldn't be cutting off their cable bill and people would take them a bit more seriously all that education and still can't turn it into winnable elections. Do universities issue refunds? Lol

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Although the left wing media can write properly.

At least there is an admission that the media is Left wing. Imagine if the tables were turned and Fox were the only Left wing media outlet in a sea of conservative media companies. In such an environment our Japan Today would likely choose not to publish a story like this on its website.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Trump complained about Obama, a real president, and now he has golfed more times in 6 months than Obama did in three years.

But at least Trump owns the courses which makes for a true working vacation anyway you slice it.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Is he nice to the foreigners who work as his properties? Does he give them a little wink and say, "Don't worry, I'm talking about other immigrants, not you, the cheaper ones I bring in to replace American workers."

You'd think being such a hypocrite would get him in trouble with his base, but he's trained them to keep their mouths shut. None of them will speak out against the Dear Leader and his replacing of American workers with foreign ones.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Trump may deserve a vacation. It may even be a working vacation. True or not, Trump certainly deserves criticism for his super hypocrisy. He repeatedly criticized Obama for going on vacation and repeatedly said he wouldn't.

No, you've misinterpreted that. I won't bother to explain how, you probably know already as I daresay it was deliberate. Either that or you can't read properly.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

He ran on a campaign of rocking the boat and he has kept is promise. yet a real president would have ran his campaign on good policies, so far after 6 months all of them have failed, Im just getting tired of all this winning from Trump.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Do universities issue refunds? probably the same as goverment welfare requiring to be repaid.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

No, you've misinterpreted that. I won't bother to explain how, you probably know already as I daresay it was deliberate. Either that or you can't read properly.

I wish the left would read properly as well as being more methodical in their execution of ideas, then they just might win an election or two since they are so smart. ROFL

@Simon: No, you've misinterpreted that. I won't bother to explain how, you probably know already as I daresay it was deliberate

It did seem that when you wrote, "Although the left wing media can write properly", it did seem to me that you were saying there are media that are Left wing (and not neutral as they pretend to be). But if you say you did not mean it in that sense, then I take you at your word. There are obviously some Right wing media outlets but these are few in number and overwhelmed by the massive onslaught of Leftist propaganda filling the airwaves, newspapers, and the Internet.
