because he, like his boss Trump and others in the 'global elite' .01%, stay rich and powerful by maintaining ties with oil and gas producing states like Saudi Arabia, a state that helps keep US war industries, like the ones Pompeo and Trump (where's trump's tax info?) most likely have investments in, and other worldwide war industries in the UK, France, Russia and elsewhere profitable.
The .01%, the oil and gas industries, the big war industries and their money backers care jack nada for the planet and its peoples.
