No I was talking about how Trump believes Russia hacked the US and so far hasn't done anything about it. You mentioned that Trump would press Russia, so I was asking what is it in Trump's history with Russia makes you believe he will do much of anything to them.
I'd be happy to discuss other topics. Start a separate post and we can talk about them there, if you have nothing to say about my comments above.

You mean, Merkel and Bibi??? Wrong president.
SuperLib
Just like he did on their hacking.

Probably.

Must be full of self-loathing, then.

The problem is that the same challenges to a military strike against North Korea exist whether Trump makes an ultimatum or not, and China knows that. So either Trump has come up with something new or he's just issued an ultimatum to start a bloody, potentially long war on China's border with US troops. Not a great option.
I still think that every time North Korea launches something, we should send more weapons into the area. If NK is a legitimate threat then the US and Korea have a justification to changing the balance with China. And if China refuses to provide a solution, something only the can do, then they can go pound sand.
As the equipment level rises and more sophisticated items are sent over, China will have less of a position.

China should remove ChubbyUn and annex NK if they are so scared of a democratic unified Korea. I know, that sounds scary but this is probably the only solution as NK is not going to come to their senses and end with fireworks if they reach of the point where the elite is going to loose everything.

Is Trump going to press Russia too? Russian oligarchs are involved in North Korea.

Both Trump and Xi need victories to show their home constituents. Trump may need it more considering his performance for the last three months.
