How much more evidence is needed that Trump is a warmonger? 

He just ordered a draw-down of troops in Afghanistan. Oops.

Trump again put his words first before thinking about them or he is just plain stupid or both. When people ask me "what country do you come from", I am embarrassed to say the USA. Why, because the USA was at one time a shining light in a dark world but it has lost that status and we look like reality TV idiots.

That so-called Mother Of All Bombs (MOAB) was supposed to have taken care of the Taliban, remember? And we don't hear about ISIL much at all, do we? Oh, Donnie says that ISIL is defeated but the US Army Times magazine states that contrary to what Trump says, the forces haven't moved one cm out of Syrian territory.

Afghanistan was the Soviet Union's 'Vietnam'. They accomplished nothing from it and they left 30 years ago. And after the Afghan rebels overthrew and killed their Communist puppet leader in 1992 then anarchy broke out, like in Somalia. There's too many social, historical, economical, etc. for outsiders to solve at that place - never mind the geographic location amidst the mountains, deserts and all.

It goes back even further in history. The Romans, Persians, Chinese empires have bordered, encroached and contested this region too.

Kim wanted attention and he got it. I interpret Trump’s comment the same way. He may have got the Taliban’s attention though I don’t think much will come of it. Afghanistan has always been a last-man-standing game.
