Trump tweeted earlier Friday, "Really bad news! The Baltimore house of Elijah Cummings was robbed. Too bad!"...

How low do you want to go time and time again he proves unfit to be POTUS..

I wouldn't be all that surprised if he knew who was behind it or knew people who knew. It's the kind of thing I can imagine his favourite foreign despots arranging.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

@burningbush Which party governs the city?

As has been explained many times on this site and obviously ignored by alt right posters, what's happening in Baltimore and inner cities around the US has to be understood in historical context. But that level of complexity doesn't fit the alt right (US and 'foreign') agenda. Their agenda is based on the KISS principle to appeal to their base (many included in the second S in the acronym). They need to keep things at us v. them level for their messages to be understood. Even better when they're given a slogan. What would the alt right do to deal with the inordinately complex problems found in all US cities.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

How low do you want to go time and time again he proves unfit to be POTUS.

So what is he supposed to say? It was a good thing? OMG! “How awful!” It wouldn’t matter what he would say, liberals would complain, if he says nothing, then it would be, see, he’s silent, he doesn’t care, he just says nothing either way, it doesn’t matter what he says, the President shouldn’t matter, he pretty much has given his opinion, felt it was a bad thing and if liberals don’t like his comments, too bad, but ultimately it does underscore his comments on how bad and how much crime persists in Baltimore and that it is in serious trouble.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Isn't it is obvious to all Democrats that the "break in" was by Trump political supporters?

Just a few blocks away is a high crime area, that couldn't be connected at all.

/s

I've seen nothing about this anywhere else. Time for some security cameras. They sell 8-paks around here.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Don’t forget - there is no bottom for Trump. He’ll always find a way to go lower.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

So what is he supposed to say? It was a good thing? OMG! “How awful!”

No, just something presidential. You know, like every other president had the skills to be able to do.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

No, just something presidential. You know, like every other president had the skills to be able to do.

Oh, you mean what liberals THINK he should say or do. Well, if they don’t like it, too bad. Let them complain.

As has been explained many times on this site and obviously ignored by alt right posters, what's happening in Baltimore and inner cities around the US has to be understood in historical context.

We know, I think for 50 years Democrats failed to understand or care for the people.

But that level of complexity doesn't fit the alt right (US and 'foreign') agenda. Their agenda is based on the KISS principle to appeal to their base (many included in the second S in the acronym). They need to keep things at us v. them level for their messages to be understood.

Like the Democrat divisive racial politics us vs them. We care (yes, we can see it, rats, maggots, roaches, out of control crime etc.) 50 years says otherwise. The Republicans don’t.

Even better when they're given a slogan. What would the alt right do to deal with the inordinately complex problems found in all US cities.

Definitely not what the alt left has been doing to their Black communities.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

@basff Definitely not what the alt left has been doing to their Black communities.

You've previously said 'We (unknown 'who' that could refer to LOL) have made amends'. Other alt right partisan extremists have said similar things. I'll take your response to mean you haven't a clue and so you'd do nothing. You got yours, scr%w those who didn't have the same opportunities: the Republican mantra. Amplified by Trumprightists.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

You've previously said 'We (unknown 'who' that could refer to LOL) have made amends'. Other alt right partisan extremists have said similar things.

So what have the radical Democrats and their alt left minions have done positively for the people of Baltimore?

I'll take your response to mean you haven't a clue and so you'd do nothing.

Not at all, there are many ideas on how to clean up the filth and crime of that city, when I was a kid NYC was THE most dangerous city in the country and I was always scared to visit my kin when we went and it was bad, dirty, disgusting and once Giuliani came in and aggressively cleaned up that city, crime and murder rate went way, way down, cleaner, one of the safest big cities, now with De Blasio it’s sliding sadly back, but the best way is to do what Guliani did, get the liberals out and start from ground zero and get very aggressive on crime and filth, that would be a start, but if the people want more of the same, that’s on them. The alt left care for only one thing, the Black vote, nothing more.

You got yours, scr%w those who didn't have the same opportunities: the Republican mantra. Amplified by Trumprightists

Uh-huh, you might have a case if Republicans have been screwing that city for 50 years years the way the alt left and their minions have, but that never happened, so we don’t know.

"I scared the intruder away by yelling before the person gained entry into the residential portion of the house," Cummings said. -- article

But, but, but. . . Cummings was still in Italy staying at a 5-star hotel sipping wine on the taxpayers dime at the time of the beak in. Sorry folks, his version of the "truth" doesn't pass the smell test.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Oh, you mean what liberals THINK he should say or do. Well, if they don’t like it, too bad. Let them complain.

No, what is objectively presidential.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

And Cummings lives in the best part of town. So imagine what happens in the worst parts.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

And Cummings lives in the best part of town. So imagine what happens in the worst parts.

And? Nobody had ever claimed Baltimore is Disneyland.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Definition of Objective: not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.

There is no way to determine objectively if someone is being “presidential”. Your claim he is not is definitely influence by feelings and opinions.

So by default any President is acting presidential by fact of actually being the President when they acted.

Knowledge is power.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

> So by default any President is acting presidential by fact of actually being the President when they acted.

Hahahahahaha.

So every single thing Obama did was presidential. I'm sure you agree 100%.

Knowledge is power.

Yes, it is. It explains all the weak arguments and nonsense Trumpologists push.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I had to hear about how Michael Cohen went to Prague to have a secret meeting with Russians for 2.5 years.

So let’s just use the same concept to say Cummings went on this trip anyway as it fits our narrative.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Yes it was- by definition.

So every single thing Obama did was presidential. I'm sure you agree 100%.

Chip StarToday  08:59 am JST

Something doesnt pass the smell test and thst something is what passes for facts in Texas. Yee-Haw don Hee-Haw where we just make up nonsense and hope others are like us and don't bother to do cursory research,

Only in an alternate universe would a 400-pound poster sitting on his bed eating potato chips in Scotland would believe anything a politician with a (D) says.

In other words you can't back up your allegation. Not unless you provide some alt-right source that everyone outside the Trump cult will snort in derision at.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

we have concluded that we are unable to charge the Cummings with going on this trip., but cant not exonerate him either.

As far as eating at the restaurant in Italy with the others we have declined to make a determination about this.

Mueller makes even less sense when applied to other people.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

The alt left care for only one thing, the Black vote, nothing more.

Well blacks are part of our group so yeah, we care about their concerns. Your group is nearly 90% white. Convince me that you care about them.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Baltimore is a crime infested city. Which party governs the city?

Don't try to blame this on the Democrats - this is all the fault of Trump and the Republicans!

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Serrano: Don't try to blame this on the Democrats - this is all the fault of Trump and the Republicans!

Well actually there have been decades and hundreds if not thousands of studies of urban decay. They're just not mentioned on your side.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Well actually there have been decades and hundreds if not thousands of studies of urban decay. They're just not mentioned on your side.

Most things requiring a modicum of intellectual sophistication are not mentioned on the right.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Widely accepted by Dems when you want to attack Trump maybe? Kinda like when the word “racism” changes meaning at will as Dems see fit.

That definition was from Merriam Webster dictionary....which is widely accepted by everyone, not just Dems.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Trump's incessant tweets from his couch clearly reveal a clinical case. Since becoming POTUS his tweeting has been acquiring the dimensions of Tourette's, so it should by now be obvious to all but the KISSers that power is thus absolutely contraindicated for his mental condition . He needs to be removed from office ASAP and confined in a psychiatric hospital where tweeting is strictly verboten and where he can perhaps hope to be rehabilitated by means of a remedial reading program.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

No, what is objectively presidential

The key word: objectively...lol

Yes, it is. It explains all the weak arguments and nonsense Trumpologists push

Trump is President, that’s a strong argument based on reality.

Well blacks are part of our group so yeah, we care about their concerns.

Yes, we can see that in Oakland, SF, LA, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, Compton we see the care of Democrats.

Your group is nearly 90% white. Convince me that you care about them.

Trump is trying but for some reason, helping whites in flyover states is racist for some strange reason.

Well actually there have been decades and hundreds if not thousands of studies of urban decay. They're just not mentioned on your side.

They are mentioned, but since the people in your urban areas constantly complain and still nothing done.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Oh when you posted a known racial slur on a public message board? Yeah you really schooled me. didn’t actually play yourself at all.

You were educated on this the other day when you were claiming you have to mention race to be racist. Remember?

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

@serrano Don't try to blame this on the Democrats - this is all the fault of Trump and the Republicans!

An excellent example of a partisan extremist's use of the KISS principle. No gradation, no gray, it's one pole or the other. The us v. them world that Trump and his followers use to further divide the long divided US.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Bass: Yes, we can see that in Oakland, SF, LA, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, Compton we see the care of Democrats.

Actually, no. Like I said there are plenty of studies about urban decay. Not just in the US but all over the world.

The question here is: Can I get an uneducated white American male to research and learn on his own?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The us v. them world that Trump and his followers use to further divide the long divided US.

But that’s exactly what the Democrats do and say, us vs them, nothing different.

And today Baltimore Police arrested two former Trump Organization employees under contract to Don Jr for "breaking and entering"....

Ok, this is exactly why people don’t pay attention to liberals, it’s because of Pinocchio.

In a statement Friday, the Maryland Democrat said someone "attempted to gain entry into my residence at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, July 27."

"I was notified of the intrusion by my security system, and I scared the intruder away by yelling before the person gained entry into the residential portion of the house," Cummings said. "I thank the Baltimore Police Department for their response and ask that all further inquiries be directed to them."

The break-in happened hours before Trump launched a Twitter tirade against Cummings, calling his majority-black district a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess."

The two suspects are not talking, and saying they were merely "plumbers" tasked with stealing information from Congressman Cummings house to use against him. They say nothing more - and to talk to the White House for additional info.

This coming from Donny Deutsch probably...

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Actually, no. Like I said there are plenty of studies about urban decay. Not just in the US but all over the world.

BS, Democrats have not done anything in Oakland, SF, LA, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, Compton to significantly change the lives of the people, nothing, that’s what the studies show.

The question here is: Can I get an uneducated white American male to research and learn on his own?

Funny, seems like the Democrats are praying on all the uneducated minorities by telling them, we will look out for you. Want proof? Take a drive through Compton or even Baltimore and you will see still burned down buildings from the 60’s riots and in Compton also from the Rodney King LA riots. The city has done nothing to fix the urban problems of Blacks, but as LBJ said, “I’ll have these N-word voting Democrat for the next 200 years. Now you tell me in all honesty that Democrats overall have made the lives of Blacks better.” His great society has destroyed the Black community and the Democrats pray on future ignorance to demonize Republicans as the racists that want to kill them because Democrats know if the GOP can get 6-8% of the Black vote, it’s over for them.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

What the "Trump effect" is doing is forcing these useless Dem leaders to hold themselves accountable, puttin a big spot light on their misdeeds, or lacking of doing. They are not liking what they see in themselves so they instead are turning on each other. Kind of funny to watch, but this has been a long time in the making, that is these people being held accountable. Before they were untouchable.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

And today Baltimore Police arrested two former Trump Organization employees under contract to Don Jr for "breaking and entering"....

Come on, man. Bad joke.

The two suspects are not talking, and saying they were merely "plumbers" tasked with stealing information from Congressman Cummings house to use against him. They say nothing more - and to talk to the White House for additional info.

The White House says they know nothing of this operation, and that the President insists "I'm not a Crook"...

Meanwhile it is suggested tapes exist showing the President had "full knowledge and understanding" of this crime.

And this just in, two Washington Post reporters are receiving information from a source within the administration - not Deep Throat, but "Orange Aide", who is providing them information on the cover-up that is going on with these White House authorized "Plumbers"....

The source is saying that the President was aware of the B&E on Rep Cummings home but instigated a massive cover-up...

The source remains under cover but his initials are assessed to be "Mike Pence"...

This just in; Don Jr was requested to submit to an interview with the FBI but has fled to Moscow...and Ivanka is out of country in China visiting her shoe factories. Jared Kushner is thought to be hiding in one of his rat-infested slums in Baltimore...

Bingo!

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

I scared the intruder away by yelling before the person gained entry into the residential portion of the house

What's the non-residential portion?

All the houses on the street where I grew up didn't have any non-residential portions, they were entirely residential, from the living room to the bathroom...

Bass4funk: BS, Democrats have not done anything in Oakland, SF, LA, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, Compton to significantly change the lives of the people, nothing, that’s what the studies show.

Translation: I feel more comfortable with my made-up rhetoric from right-wing pundits then the actual research.

Large cities have both the richest and poorest people. As you move out from there the extremes start to come together more, not as rich, not as poor. Blaming Baltimore for having poor people because of Democratic policies is like saying Baltimore's elite is a product of Democratic policies.

"Golly, Plano, Texas would have the same skyline as Baltimore if they'd just elect a Democrat."

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Insulting tweet from Trump regardless of what he thinks of the congressman Cummings

Oh. Please! If anyone should feel insulted, it should be the people of Baltimore for having liberal politicians that cared nothing about them.

Translation: I feel more comfortable with my made-up rhetoric from right-wing pundits then the actual research.

But we need to rely on liberal propagated research? Why? What for?

Large cities have both the richest and poorest people. As you move out from there the extremes start to come together more, not as rich, not as poor. Blaming Baltimore for having poor people because of Democratic policies is like saying Baltimore's elite is a product of Democratic policies.

That was just the absolute worst excuse if there ever was one! Pathetic.

"Golly, Plano, Texas would have the same skyline as Baltimore if they'd just elect a Democrat."

Compared to the larger cities or largest Blue cities in the US Blacks are disproportionately at a huge disadvantage from the start, but Democrats care. Lol

Votes they sure do...

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

But we need to rely on liberal propagated research?

Well, we need to rely on research. I don't know what "liberal propagated research" is, but my guess is that it's a phrase you throw out when the findings don't match what right-wing pundits say.

That was just the absolute worst excuse if there ever was one!

Excuse? I was saying that big cities have both the richest and poorest people. It doesn't matter which party runs them. Look at the richest and poorest in New York. Now look at the richest and poorest in some small town in Montana. You'll find the extremes in the bigger cities. Certainly you can agree with that.

US Blacks are disproportionately at a huge disadvantage from the start

Exactly. Like when Trump tells black people they can't live in his buildings it limits their options. It keeps them out of certain areas and it was/is done intentionally for decades. Then they are forced to congregate in the same areas, then the banks engage in redlining which is where they have a blanket refusal to give loans in those areas.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Rep Elijah Cummings has a wife and child so the negative tweet from Trump was totally uncalled for when empathy would have been more in place.

Gee, I wish y’all felt the same about the Presidents son Barron and his wife. Hypocrites!

Well, we need to rely on research. I don't know what "liberal propagated research" is, but my guess is that it's a phrase you throw out when the findings don't match what right-wing pundits say.

We say the same about the liberal...so called research.

Excuse? I was saying that big cities have both the richest and poorest people. It doesn't matter which party runs them. Look at the richest and poorest in New York. Now look at the richest and poorest in some small town in Montana. You'll find the extremes in the bigger cities. Certainly you can agree with that.

Yes, but what about the most impoverished community, the Black community, for 13% they have one of the highest unemployment, highest incarceration, lowest SAT scores, lowest in reading and math, highest dropout rate, highest abortion and marriage out of wedlock, highest divorce rate, highest in single family household, highest murder rate, so my sister sincere question is: for the last 50 years what on Earth have the Dems down to help fix this crisis?

Exactly. Like when Trump tells black people they can't live in his buildings it limits their options.

You want to go back to the crime infested Frank Lucas era when Dems destroyed that city as well? Where the streets were flooded by drugs and where 95% the dealers were black? Sorry, that’s just what they were and the epidemic that almost destroyed that city.

It keeps them out of certain areas and it was/is done intentionally for decades.

And with good reason given the harsh and crazy climate in those days.

Then they are forced to congregate in the same areas, then the banks engage in redlining which is where they have a blanket refusal to give loans in those areas.

Why should you be given a loan when you default and you can’t pay it back, that doesn’t make sense, has nothing to do with the color of the individuals skin.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

All the houses on the street where I grew up didn't have any non-residential portions, they were entirely residential, from the living room to the bathroom...

I guess you lived in the garage....

Sanctuary city?

Trump is just calling a spade a spade.

The Trumpers here just can't stop with the racist dog whistles can they? It's just so obvious....

3 ( +3 / -0 )

It keeps them out of certain areas and it was/is done intentionally for decades.

And with good reason given the harsh and crazy climate in those days.

Just when you think it can't get crazier, a Trumper justifies racial discrimination due to the weather...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Unlike Trump with six bankruptcies for $1.5 billion?

But when you have a history of making money, banks are always more willing to take a risk.

Just when you think it can't get crazier, a Trumper justifies racial discrimination due to the weather

Only liberals will try to make breathing a racist thing. Lol

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Except it was Trump's daddy who had to bail him out of debts with $1.5 billion.

That’s good, I would do the same for my kids, nothing wrong with that.

Then American banks wouldn't give me a loan so he turned to a German Bank instead

Good.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

That’s good, I would do the same for my kids

And just as that would prove your kids to be extremely poor businessmen, so does it show Trump to be so.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Are you a liberal now? Your quote is below;

I do believe everyone has the right to breath.

Once again - your words - so explain to us why it's OK to discriminate against Black Americans

I also said, can’t be helped given the climate and that these people happened to be black., would be the same if they were another race, but the streets, the drugs were predominantly in Black hands, they just happen to be Black and given the drug crisis and heroin flooding the streets, I don’t blame Trump for bring careful, he had every right to protect this properties.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Well, thanks for answering the question - what you have described is blatant racism - and if that's what you believe, that's what you believe....

But let's stop all the "we're not racist" fantasy - you approve of Trump denying housing to Black Americans based on nothing more than the color of their skin.

So just fess up to being racists...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Well, thanks for answering the question - what you have described is blatant racism

Most liberals using emotion to rationalize the situation would think so.

and if that's what you believe, that's what you believe....*

I remember those horrible days, I don’t need emotion to understand the reality of what life was dangerously like. NYC was more dangerous than Iraq in those days, it was absolutely scary.

But let's stop all the "we're not racist" fantasy - you approve of Trump denying housing to Black Americans based on nothing more than the color of their skin.

That’s your opinion, I vehemently disagree with you. I think he had every right to do what he did. I remember the arsons that were happening all over the city constantly to collect money from the insurance companies, frivolous lawsuits of rape crimes (see Al Sharpton)

racist crimes, corrupt police, the mob, street gangs, sorry, you can call it what you want, but I would have done the same, I don’t blame the President I blame the leaders at that time that allowed NYC to fall into decay.

So just fess up to being racists...

That word is as hollow and has as much meaning as a person chewing the same piece of gum for 2 weeks.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Well, thanks for answering the question - what you have described is blatant racism

Most liberals using emotion to rationalize the situation would think so.

Liberals didn't say they approve of denying housing to Blacks based on the "climate", you did...

*and if that's what you believe, that's what you believe....**

I remember those horrible days, I don’t need emotion to understand the reality of what life was dangerously like. NYC was more dangerous than Iraq in those days, it was absolutely scary.

So what? If you deny housing to someone based on their race, that's racist - period.

Why all the emotion? You just said it was OK for Trump to discriminate against Blacks - and your words above just confirm it.

So just fess up to being racists...

That word is as hollow and has as much meaning as a person chewing the same piece of gum for 2 weeks.

Your words are in black and white for all to see - you said you approve of Trump denying housing to Blacks based on their skin color.

Here's the definition of racial discrimination: Race discrimination is when you are treated unfairly because of your race, or because of the race of someone you are connected with, such as your partner. 'Race' includes colour, nationality, citizenship and ethnic or national origins.

This is exactly what you approve Trump of doing - and you confirm it in every statement you make - "I think he had every right to do what he did".

So put aside all your emotion and just admit it.
