Schlong is not really vulgar. It comes from the yiddish word shlang, or snake. But to get schlonged mean to get f(&(ed, Which is mildly vulgar.

And the way tv personality and part time Republican Clown Car leader used it, in the context in which he used it, it clearly vulgar.

Such class this guy has. Yuuuuge amounts of class.

And that tells you all you need to know about the Republican party, and why it must be destroyed.

12 ( +19 / -7 )

Trump lacks the filter most of us have.

13 ( +19 / -6 )

Trump uses vulgar language, prejudice and bigotry to galvanize a band of racists in his bid for the Republican nomination. Wise choice. The Republicans finally have the candidate that best represents their family values.

13 ( +22 / -9 )

Can he possibly think these comments will attract women voters?

9 ( +14 / -5 )

He lacks common sense. He need's to be reminded that a president is supposed to be diplomatic and represents the people of the US especially in public.

It's not the message, its how you say it. I didn't think I'd say it, but if he's the only choice on the ballot between him and Clinton, I'll have to shudder, vote for Clin-ton. So many other good candidates out there on both sides that should be viable. Don't keep giving these two all the publicity.

Trump is placing a spotlight on the decadence of American media, society and politics. His campaign is all about what America has become, to some degree. He cannot become president. But he can reveal something about the direction of the U.S.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

he (Trump) can reveal something about the direction of the U.S. - comments

What Trump reveals is he can cobble the ignorant racist into a vocal and disturbing picture of prejudice that FoxNews and Rush Limbaugh have worked so hard to create over the past two decades.

These aren't America.

These are the dim witted, the hateful and the gun nuts who see in Trump's disgusting thuggery the reflection of their own minds and homes. Republican Family Values brought to life by a Doctor Trumpenstein from the brain dead tissue of ordinary bigots.

12 ( +18 / -6 )

Suddenly Trump is a linguistic genius utilizing obscure words to convey a meaning that's different from his usual ignorant insults? Please. Vitriol and erroneous rhetoric is his claim to fame, using words that are easily understood by the misinformed masses that support this buffoon.

kcjapanDEC. 23, 2015 - 08:09AM JST Trump uses vulgar language, prejudice and bigotry to galvanize a band of racists in his bid for the Republican nomination. Wise choice. The Republicans finally have the candidate that best represents their family values.

What a load of sh-crap! Republicans want a strong nation. Democrats want to reward "artists" and pay them to be "artists" and not be a productive asset to society.

In the world, either your an asset or a liability. If you are able bodied and mind you are an asset or a leeching liability. If you are lacking full body and or mind you are the nations welfare, if you chose to be an asset, your in a catagory of your own which others should look up to you accomplishments.

Bums are bums and democrats support the lifestyle.

-22 ( +6 / -28 )

Misogyny aside (and predictable - GOP candidates seem to be quite thorough in their mission to insult particular demographic groups), doesn't Trump sound like that Randall guy from the "homeybadger don't care" video? Listen and tell me he doesn't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7wHMg5Yjg

0 ( +2 / -2 )

using a restroom is "disgusting", can not believe such comment came out from a human. doesn't he use restroom in his whole life? so the whole world is full of disgusting people because pee and boo normally. how ignorant.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

Democrats want to reward "artists"

& the refugees, ten of thousands of them- just come on' over.

The illegal immigrants too, "You can stay," "oh btw, here is a drivers license," heh- they can even commit felonies within our borders without being deported.

Worse. They snub our ally, Isreal. And brown-nose up to mullahs of Iran in the form of some so-called "Deal."

If Trump is a buffoon (like everyone keeps posting), the administration- likewise- are equally "amusing" and inept.

-8 ( +8 / -16 )

This is a new low set by Trump, who never outgrew grade school. Once you pass the age of ten going to the bathroom is not funny any more. His sexist remarks are junior high locker room chat. Trump is an unfortunate example of the little boy who would not grow up. He did not have to being rich. He is no cute Peter Pan.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

"What a load of sh-crap! Republicans want a strong nation." - comments

And Trump's racism and bigotry is the embodiment of all the Republicans have to offer to that end.

Well chosen.

An accurate and representative choice every Republican can hold up as an example to their children and the world. Donald J. Trump, haberdasher, television personality, bigot.

Just what every Republican wants their child to be.

What a terrific role model!

"Remember little Bobby, your sister is a pig and Mommy got sh@^ed." Winning!

0 ( +7 / -7 )

“No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting.”

Oh yeah ? I find it MUCH more disgusting to have "diarrhoea" of the mouth... What a low-life bigot !

5 ( +10 / -5 )

Trump seems to suffer from coprolalia and copropraxia!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

It didn't sound that bad. Isn't the press going a little carried away with this story?

-7 ( +6 / -13 )

Trump is doing exactly what he wants to do. Abrasive, yes.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Freud would have a field day with this guy. Do the hang-ups ever end? He's got such a problem with women and sex, I'm starting to wonder if maybe the viagra isn't working.

You don't get this kind of obsessive vitriol from a regular guy.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

I support Trump on a number of his positions but even I think this was uncalled for.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

What choices do we have? Truly? Politicians ... all rhetoric ... nothing changes!

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Black Sabbath, thanks for explaination of this never heard before slang .

0 ( +0 / -0 )

"vulgar language... "schlonged"

Good grief! If Hillary thinks "schlonged" is vulgar she ain't heard nothin' yet, ha ha!

“What happened to her? I’m watching the debate, and she disappeared. Where did she go?!” Trump said at a rally in Michigan.

“I know where she went. It’s disgusting, I don’t want to talk about it,” he added. “No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting.”

Har! Nah, actually, that was a little over the top, even for The Trumpster.

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

Suddenly Trump is a linguistic genius utilizing obscure words to convey a meaning that's different from his usual ignorant insults?

Kind of like kcjapan. LOL

2 ( +8 / -6 )

Trump's vitriol and vulgarities are to be expected, and this is no surprise. To his detriment, though, while they work for him in securing the Republican nomination -- since that is a party that literally thrives on bigotry and hate -- they will most certainly not secure him the presidency. GOP supporting women may be dumb enough to lap up what he says while he spits on them, intelligent women, and men, will not.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

Such class this guy has. Yuuuuge amounts of class.

Class? Hilary's husband showed the world how classy (D) can be. Tsk, tsk, tsk . . . fooling around with Monica Lewinski in the oval office. (talk about "disgusting"-- sheesh)

Schlong is not really vulgar.

I agree. Trump wasn't being vulgar. Compared to what (D) like Hilary's hubby did on the job, I'd call D. Trump a saint.

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

Mrs. Bill Clinton said ISIS is using Mr. Trump in their propaganda; however, ISIS just released a video with her husband in it, using his infidelity as an example of why the West is so immoral and evil.

Google "No Respite" (the title of the ISIS propaganda) to see for yourself. . . .

-4 ( +7 / -11 )

While many here are riding the Trump/Hillary rubberneck merry-go-round, way more important things are happening. I thought you should know, this could spell the end for Hillary. Seymour M. Hersh's new book is just shocking.

About Hillary while she was Secretary of State:

In July 2013, the Joint Chiefs found a more direct way of demonstrating to Assad how serious they were about helping him. By then the CIA-sponsored secret flow of arms from Libya to the Syrian opposition, via Turkey, had been underway for more than a year (it started sometime after Gaddafi’s death on 20 October 2011).* The operation was largely run out of a covert CIA annex in Benghazi, with State Department acquiescence.

The "bombshell" for Obama and his presidency.

By then, the CIA had been conspiring for more than a year with allies in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Qatar to ship guns and goods – to be used for the overthrow of Assad – from Libya, via Turkey, into Syria.

and

The Joint Chiefs felt that a direct challenge to Obama’s policy would have ‘had a zero chance of success’. So in the autumn of 2013 they decided to take steps against the extremists without going through political channels, by providing US intelligence to the militaries of other nations, on the understanding that it would be passed on to the Syrian army and used against the common enemy, Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic State.

In fairness, it could be Obama directed his Chiefs of Staff to do this behind his back so as not to look guilty to his handlers.

It's all so simple. A nation gets what it deserves... A democracy gets what it votes for...

0 ( +4 / -4 )

To the Clinton-Obama apologists, remember this?

"President Barack Obama used the sexually vulgar expression “tea-baggers” to refer to tea party members in a letter he wrote to a Texas grade school teacher."

Dismissed as trivia, right? Good for the goose, good for the gander. It's a dirty business, politics, not for babies. Brutalizing and denigrating one's political opponents isn't new.

Here's the substance.

What counts for many Americans, including millions not usually engaged in the political process, those who do not routinely vote in elections as a force of habit - is that we finally have a voice!

Very refreshing that in American politics that we finally have someone who has the courage and wherewithal to call out Ms. Clinton for the devious liar that she is, Mr. Obama for being such an absolute failure as a president, - and the Republicans in congress for being so spineless!

0 ( +6 / -6 )

CLASS.

And you know what they say: you can't spell class without....

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

FizzBit Thanks Chief that was very interesting reading!

people like this clown back in the 1960,s all had white capes and burning crosses, were almost into 2016, does the American public want to go back in time? we have come a long way in that time.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

The rise in islamoterrorism is now Mr. Trump's fault? But, but, but ... didn't Mrs. Bill Clinton once say that the lack of jobs was the cause of global terrorism? Oh, wait, or wasn't it this administration's claim that the increase in terrorism worldwide is because of man made "climate change"?

-1 ( +6 / -7 )

What Trump reveals is he can cobble the ignorant racist into a vocal and disturbing picture of prejudice that FoxNews and Rush Limbaugh have worked so hard to create over the past two decades.

Really? How so? Prove it.

"President Barack Obama used the sexually vulgar expression “tea-baggers” to refer to tea party members in a letter he wrote to a Texas grade school teacher."

Great point!

Class? Hilary's husband showed the world how classy (D) can be. Tsk, tsk, tsk . . . fooling around with Monica Lewinski in the oval office. (talk about "disgusting"-- sheesh)

Trump wasn't being vulgar. Compared to what (D) like Hilary's hubby did on the job, I'd call D. Trump a saint.

You do know The Donald had a long time affair with his second wife while married to his first? I'm not sure why you are so extra offended by Clinton. And please stop implying that a woman is guilty of her husbands actions.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

Perhaps Trump is disappointed to learn that, unlike his wives, he cannot order his primary candidate from eastern Europe.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

@justbecuzisay

A very good point but the selective memories of the rightists here can be comical. One poster here dismissed Hillary as a loser after losing to Obama but went quiet after it was pointed out that Reagan failed to win the nomination twice.

And yes, Bass, whataboutthelibs/Hillary/Benghazi/Obamamaybeamuslim/atheists/unicorns/'bias'media/LOL/ROFL.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Always behind the curve playing catch-up to the news cycle, Mrs. Bill Clinton has decided to attack Mr. Trump full steam, because nothing else has worked for her (example, the embarrassingly awkward Scooby Van tour that resulted in a campaign reboot).

The problem is, the more she tries to be Mr. Trump, the more he continually outplays her. The newly released ISIS recruitment video highlighting her serial womanizing husband -- and not Mr. Trump -- proves once again that Mrs. Clinton will never fully realize (and none of her bootlicking advisers will ever dare tell her ) that she is running against her own record as a lifelong career liar. That's all Mr. Trump has to respond to; and even her most frothing supporters cannot dispute that fact. . . .

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Fox just announced their lineup for their January debate: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, and Jeb Bush. Two of these four (Trump and Carson) will never become president; the remainders face rapidly dwindling chances. What a fine pickle the GOP has gotten itself into. With a Trump a ticket to defeat, his supporters would feel most at home with Cruz, who - surprise! - has alienated most of the party by being a megalomaniac and is, how shall we say, monumentally stupid (gold standard, anyone?). 46-year old Rubio continues to behave as a 46-year old who has never held a job outside of government. Christie is a bridge to nowhere, and Jeb!? - his visage images the desperation neither he, his family, nor his party dare acknowledge.

Some have said that the GOP has strategically abandoned the presidency in favor of controlling Congress, and frankly, while such a strategy would be totally insane - we'll see how that works out once the Supreme Court shifts from a conservative to a liberal bias - such utter incompetence defies alternative explanation. The last time the executive branch was controlled by one party for three consecutive terms was Reagan/Bush, and the resulting judicial branch reverberations continue. Time to enjoy watching the tide reverse.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

I am SO TIRED of this man and his antics !

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

It is a thing of beauty to behold Laguna my friend. Trump has definitely peaked, I just hope he can hang in there as long as possible and do as much damage as he can.

I'm still going with Clinton vs Jeb! as impossible as that currently seems.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

. . . . Heh !! The WASHINGTON POST just dogged on Ted Cruz' daughters. Featuring them as "monkeys". And people still want to bash Trump? The lib editorial staff and WP have just stooped lower than crocodile piss.

If they want to attack Cruz, Republicans- then just come out & say so. DON'T Bash the guys two little daughters !! It's really-really sick.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

It is humorous to see the Left attack Trump (who deserves it by the way) when it ignores the same behavior from it's own. Obama calling Tea Party supporters "tea-baggers", Hillary going after her husbands many mistresses, the main stream press depicting a conservative Hispanic man's children as monkeys, Biden saying that the party that emancipated American slaves as wanting to put them "back in chains".

So just ignore the vile statements from the saints on Left and look only at the despicable Right? Hillary believes that all men accused of rape should be considered guilty and she wholeheartedly supports denying them due process of the law. Hey Hillary - your husband has been accused of rape and sexual assault by at least three women!

I will say this till I am blue in the face - I do not like Trump. But he just crudely stated that Hillary got screwed out of her coronation as the Democrat nominee in 2008. Hillary and her supporters clearly felt that way. In real life people use crude language - even Manhattan elitists disparage others in crude ways. Although they tend to do so only among themselves everyone knows it's true. It's no accident that Obama's crude comments about Tea Party conservatives has not been given the coverage as Trumps "schlonge" comment.

I don't think it is necessary for either Obama or Trump to go around making such disrespectful comments in public. Certainly the press shouldn't be comparing Hispanic children to monkeys. Just imagine the outrage you would see if someone in the press published a cartoon of the Obama girls as monkeys? There should be the same outrage regardless of party but unfortunately, that's just not the way the mainstream media works.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Hillary believes that all men accused of rape should be considered guilty and she wholeheartedly supports denying them due process of the law.

Liar.

NPR says Geraldine Ferraro was "schlonged" in 2011. It means defeated badly. Only the dirty minds of liberals that are always trying to be offended could twist the meaning of this term. Liberals are the real sexists for trying to twist it like this. Disgusting.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Just saw a news report (it will probably show up here in about six hours) that Trump has denied using any vulgarities when talking about Clinton... further proving that the guy thinks if he says something then it automatically becomes true.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Oh, please. Anyone who stays married to Bill Clinton after the humiliation he has put her through for the last forty years cannot possibly be offended by this. I wish her campaign would make up its mind. Is she a warrior grandmother or not?

0 ( +4 / -4 )

I will say this till I am blue in the face - I do not like Trump. But

There's always a "but" ready to defend the Republican bigot.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Oh, please. Anyone who stays married to Bill Clinton after the humiliation he has put her through for the last forty years cannot possibly be offended by this.

. . . you don't say. Humiliation, with a capital H. The guy was actually brought to charges for impeachment. This x-president soiled the carpet under the desk in the Oval Office. . . . . but that was a long time ago. Nevermind Trump's petty so-called "offenses."

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

A very good point but the selective memories of the rightists here can be comical. One poster here dismissed Hillary as a loser after losing to Obama but went quiet after it was pointed out that Reagan failed to win the nomination twice.

She's polling as of today at 59% as a liar and untrustworthy. Good luck with that. LOL

Trump has to respond to; and even her most frothing supporters cannot dispute that fact. .

BINGO!

There's always a "but" ready to defend the Republican bigot

How is he a bigot?

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

The development has alarmed many Republican Party leaders who fear the billionaire’s incendiary rhetoric would make him unelectable in a general election - article

Why would the Republican's care?

The Party of Family Values has their Bigot in Chief and all the little bigots shriek with glee at Christmastime for their Father Christmas, Donald J. Trump, bigot, haberdasher, television personality.

Trump is just following what Jesus would do; refer to someone's grandmother using a vulgar substitute for fornication.

Isn't that from Trump's Sermon on the Mount?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

. . . . Heh !! The WASHINGTON POST just dogged on Ted Cruz' daughters. Featuring them as "monkeys". And people still want to bash Trump? The lib editorial staff and WP have just stooped lower than crocodile piss.

The "lib" editorial staff have since removed that cartoon. Donald Trump never retracts any of the moronic things he says. Perhaps if Ted Cruz wants to prevent his family from getting that kind of treatment, though, he should keep them off the stage at big political events.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

The "lib" editorial staff have since removed that cartoon. - comments

That was as hurtful and mean spirited as it gets. Mocking children? Cruz is contemptible for his own record of failures.

What the Washington Post was thinking? Obviously they weren't. The Trump cancer is in the blood. Stop the hate.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

bass: How is he a bigot?

Based on his words he meets my definition of a bigot. Disagree if you'd like, I really don't care.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Only bigots defend bigots.

That's Trump's campaign in a nutshell.

A great big bloody nutshell. How did the Republican Party get in to this great big bloody nutshell?

FOXNews proved a marvelous shoe horn to disaster.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Based on his words he meets my definition of a bigot. Disagree if you'd like, I really don't care.

You don't have to care, but labeling a person and calling them a bigot without knowing with certainty whether they are or not would be to pre-judge, is that what you are doing? Then in guessing so, would be prejudiced.

That's bad.

That was as hurtful and mean spirited as it gets. Mocking children? Cruz is contemptible for his own record of failures.

What failures? Is he equally a liar as Hillary is?

What the Washington Post was thinking? Obviously they weren't. The Trump cancer is in the blood. Stop the hate.

Something liberals are all too familiar with.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Without knowing with certainty? Are you about to play some technical vocabulary game to protect the bigot?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

No, I just want to know how you are certain the man is a bigot. I don't like Obama, but that doesn't mean, it's because he's black, it's because, the man only cares about himself and not the country.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I'm certain because of the statements Trump has made. It's not rocket science.

And when are you going to go into more detail about how our President is a secret Muslim working against the U.S.?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@SuperLib

There's always a "but" ready to defend the Republican bigot.

I did not defend Trump. He is crude, I do not support his style of politics, and like Hillary and Obama he is polarizing. I simply observed that he correctly pointed out the fact that Hillary felt screwed over by a first term Senator swooping in and taking away her long sought shot at becoming president. Trump is no more a bigot than is Obama or Hillary who both believe that the color of ones skin is more important than the content of their character. Hillary is also anti-male to boot. It is the Left that defends bigotry by opposing color-blind government. It is Hillary that is a bigot by now ironically supporting the denial of due process to men whenever a women accuses them of sexual assault.

Based on his words he meets my definition of a bigot. Disagree if you'd like, I really don't care.

Based on Obama and Hillary's words they are bigots. And I could care less if you agree or not.

@IIIyas

Why did everyone ignore my post about NPR using the word schlonged? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yurpga7CXDE

Because the Left approves of racism and bigotry when it is in the service of their political objectives. That's why the Left will defend Obama's crude "tea-bagger" and "clinging to guns and religion" comments. His demonizing of conservatives as the "enemy". It is why it is okay for the Liberal media to demean a conservatives children by comparing them to monkeys. It is why Hillary can attack and demean the many women who have accused her husband of sexually assaulting them. It is why these same people will believe Hillary when she says all women who have claimed to have been raped should be believed when it is blatantly obvious that she is lying.

And a bigot.

I think he's crass, vulgar and loathsome, and that any American who supports him after his comments about banning Muslim visitors to the US and killing terrorists' families don't have any right to a US passport because they're grotesque violations of the principles the USA were supposedly founded on, but a bigot? I'm not actually so sure.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Great. What do you think about Trump?

I don't think much of him at all. The only person worse would be Hillary - a huuuuge bigot and sexist.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

What's a bigot?

Google it and the first thing that pops up is; "a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions"

So working from that position I feel that;

The Party of Family Values has their Bigot in Chief and all the little bigots shriek with glee at Christmastime for their Father Christmas, Donald J. Trump, bigot, haberdasher, television personality.

is about the most bigoted comment on this entire thread.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Google it and the first thing that pops up is; "a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions"

Well given that both Hillary and Obama consider conservatives to be the "enemy" (their words not mine) then both easily qualify as bigots according to this definition. Not to mention Obama's constantly assuming that white people are always in the wrong in any dispute and Hillary's 'nuts and sluts' defense of her husband whenever he is accused of abusing women then it becomes abundantly clear that the leaders of the American Left are the definition of bigots. Throw in their support for the instutionalized bigotry known as affirmative action and they are head and shoulders more bigoted than Trump. The only political party in America that has ever successfully implemented explicitly racist public policy is the Democrat party.

Hillary called Republicans the enemy in a recent Democrat debate and it is well known that Obama has referred to Republicans as the enemy. Two minutes and an Internet search will give you all the sources you need. Or perhaps you just cannot bring yourself to see the bad and just plain ugly side of Progressivism. I think Trump is a jerk but Hillary is just plain mean. Anita Broderick - one of Bill's sexual assault victims - can fill you in on that.

I didn't see her say that.

I never trust anything that is 'well known' in the bubble. Almost always lies. Let's see an actual source please.
