At this point it's clear Trump is trying to do as much damage to the country and the democratic principles the republic was built on as he possibly can. He's burning bridges, salting the earth, poisoning wells and breaking as many things as he can on his march back to Mar a Lago. I understand why Beijing, Moscow, Ankara etc continue to support him.

But Trump, who has not formally conceded to Biden — and may never — continued to sow doubt about the vote, despite his own administration’s assessment that it was conducted without widespread fraud, misconduct or interference.

what a sad and pathetic person Trump is...

Trump's behavior is that of sociopath. This disorder is characterized by a disregard for the feelings of others, a lack of remorse or shame, manipulative behavior, unchecked egocentricity, and the ability to lie in order to achieve one's goals.”

yes I agree and would like to add, all narcissists are sociopaths not all sociopaths are narcissist.

Trump says..... I stopped listening because he doesn’t matter anymore.

Trump:  Yesterday's man, still trying to catch water in a net.

Trump obviously lives in his own fantasy world. The rest of the world knows Biden is the winner. However, Trump refuses to accept the fact that he will go down as the only president to lose the popular vote twice.

Also, if he wants to pursue an actual fraud case, he should go after that dark money case in Florida, involving a mysterious company called, Proclivity, Inc. It seems this company contributed money to PACs that would take away votes from Democratic candidates by tricking voters to vote for anonymous third party candidates. It actually worked in one district where the Republican candidate won by a mere 32 votes over the Democratic challenger. The other mysterious candidate, who has since been found as being misnamed, got over 6,000 votes. Wow!

It is unsurprising that election chicanery would be a favoured tactic of the Republican party since they have always been more inclined towards criminality.

It would be amusing if Trump's cries of election fraud became true for exactly the opposite purpose for which he intended.

The snapshot of Trump in a trance-like state shows the piggy-eyed face of a person who has already been let go and paid his first "wages of sin" by 80 million American taxpayers.

Honest question: has there ever been a more pathetic example of a poor loser, ever?

13 ( +13 / -0 )

Trump contemplating the fact that he is in his words "a Loser"...

History will show him as an aberration - a time when a large minority of American voters thought having someone entertain them was better than governing them...

And a warning that demagoguery and fascism aren't just threats from beyond our borders - they can grow from within - and corrupt an entire political party...

I almost wonder if Pence was at the Tuesday 'news conference' just in case Donald went absolutely bonkers, and he could step in and cut Trump off.

He certainly wasn't there to do any other kind of work. The whole thing took 90 seconds.

Trump still has 57 days as president.

Stop the count. Kick him out now.

When you fire someone, kick him out of the office, company housing and all its perks, it doesn't matter whether the employee accepts it or. He might whine, stomp , complain, but he is fired!!!

America fired trump and gave him notice, he better vacate by Jan 20!!!

My expectation is Mr. Trump will either try to crash the inauguration claiming he is the duly elected President, or have a parallel inauguration. Now which of these the Chief Justice attends, as the Chief Justice is required to administer the Oath of Office is to be determined however I could think of a couple of Associate Justices who would attend an inauguration of Donald Trump regardless of how the Electoral College votes should Mr. Trump choose to go down that path.

Impeach him before he can do anymore damage.

LOCK HIM UP! LOCK HIM UP!

It would be pretty funny if Trump pardoned all of his buddies then ended up being the only one to be in jail.

He already has fired some bootlickers in his circle. He's vengeful, hateful and immature. He wants to be treated like a god and over 80 million Americans said NO to him and his personality cult. He needs to face the music and realize America doesn't want or need him. He's possibly the most hated person on planet Earth and he did it to himself. Now he needs to put it in his pipe and smoke it.
