I'm embarrassed to say I really don't know much of anything that's happening in this specific part of the world. I'm sure everyone has a side so if you're willing to share I'm willing to listen.

This part of the world, Super, is extremely complicated. Ya got your Saudis. Ya got your Iranians. Between those two, that's enough trouble right there. I'd like to see all U.S. involvement over there end ASAP, but there are... complications.

The authority to wage war is vested in the Congress. Will at least a few Republican congressmen stand up and claim the authority that the Constitution gave them?

Trump supporters justified his support for increasing military weapons sales to Saudi Arabia saying to not do so would hurt the US economy, which of course has long relied on selling weapons at home and around the globe to maintain its strength.
Trump knows the ONLY thing he's got going for him is the economy (which seems fine now given he inherited a solid economy from Obama and has intervened in markets to shore it up). Trump will do nothing to risk an economic downfall that could result if weapons sales are cut back. No wonder the veto.
GoTrumpers who've banged on about neo-cons pushing wars in the ME and risking WW3 with Russia. Russia's also involved in Yemen. I'm expecting to hear you're appalled by Trump's neo-con backed decision.

After the blatant murder of the journalist, Kashoggi, at the behest of Prince "Bone Saw", Trump now reveals his hand as a thoroughly unprincipled character of a Machiavellian bent who is likewise willing to wade up to his waist in the blood of the people of Yemen. Congress should make clear to the Constitution-challenged Trump that he's not the Commander-in-Chief unless Congress sez so.
