"The choice is whether to do business with Iran or the United States," Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., told the AP.

Same old same old binary thinking from a Republican, echoing Republican Bush 43's "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qdvm6h8WKg

The opposing poles with no middle, black or white no gray world of political extremists and demagogues throughout history, echoed by their easily swayed followers.

Not sure that Trump's jurisdiction applies to Europe.

Let me resume, the US signs a deal with other participants in 2015, the US then get out of the deal, then tell the other parties there will be repercussions if everybody else keep its part of the deal going ? Did I miss something ?

So here we go again, the crazy NEOCON's raise their ugly head, Trump, the CIA, Pompeo, Bolton, and now Elliot Abrams and we know who he is (In 1991, facing a multi-count felony indictment, Abrams agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts for withholding information to Congress about the Iran-Contra affair. He was sentenced to two years probation and 100 hours of community service, and later pardoned by President George H.W. Bush.) this is how the pardon privilege works. So you want to threaten the EU, I find that hilarious, America getting quite busy, tariff war with China, already has political involvement in , Iran, Venezuela, and now the EU, already fighting in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan and many more African countries, trying to put Americanism wherever it can. And I thought colinization had ended. The US is losing its mo jo and its terrified , no longer the overall superpower, the President no longer the most powerful man on the planet. 2 trillion dollars in debt, a divided nation, so many domestic problems, plus immigration, and the clown in the WH asylum wants to build a wall. Well I raise 2 fingers to Trump and his right wingers, and the present US foreign policy, because all I see is a download spiral in the security of the world, I worry for my children and grandchildren, the world is in a worse state politically today, than since the end of WW11, and the rise of the far right is troubling.

Oh pi$$ off Trump... acting like some global bully

Unfazed, the European Union is marching forward with the plan, which, if implemented, could further strain trans-Atlantic relations

If they implement this plan, they're going to be fazed.

Or what, Cadet Bonespurs? You gonna shut things down until you get what you want?

How'd that work last time for ya?

Or what, Cadet Bonespurs?

You and they will see.

The world has watched Trump get slapped around by the Democrats and Ann Coulter.

Bonespurs is a lightweight. Tell him where to shove it.

The US doesn't treat Europe as a friend, then why should Europe help the US

Europe First

Bonespurs is a lightweight.

Trump is a boss and you know it.

The old fear that the oil/dollar system will be undermined by some other currency? I see the order of currencies on the board in the photo go: USD, Euro, Pound, Canada dollar, then an upside downunder country, and then Sweden...

Bonespurs is a lightweight.

Trump is a boss and you know it.

You mean Wimpy? "Jeb"? "The Loser?" The guy that got outplayed by Pelosi?

Europeans have accurately found out Trump is nothing but a clown - full of hot air.

He's an empty suit with a too long tie.

They laugh at the guy...probably too polite to call him an idiot or a moron - which is what he is...

Bonespurs is a lightweight.

Trump is a boss and you know it.

To be honest, while I always thought Trump was clearly intellectually and morally deficient for this job, I thought he’d be stubborn and a tough negotiator.

Pelosi and Coulter, as well as Stormy, have spanked his arse orange. Rump is in the corner with a ‘D’ on his hat.

Bonespurs is a perfect nickname for him at this moment in time.

So here we go again, the crazy NEOCON's raise their ugly head

You haven't been paying attention. The Neocons never went anywhere, they thrived through Bush and Obama's terms, and had a slight setback when Trump came to office. Now it seems they can bend his will as well.

This has been US policy for decades now, irrespective of who is president. I wish people wouldn't get so blinded by elections that they miss what the country is really doing, which is trying to bend the world to its will Don't get passive about it just because you happen to like whoever currently resides in the White House. They come and go, while American hegemony never misses a step. This will end badly, and most Americans will be completely surprised by it. Because they don't pay attention.

Anyway, aside from war, the US dollar as a global currency and its banking system will be sidelined, crashing the US economy as we know it. It is the inevitable response to what they are doing. Nation A and Nation B were fine doing transactions via the US when it was a free market. Not that they are being restrained, seized and spied on, Nations A and B will find ways to cut the US out of the loop.

A continuation of US bullying and Europe cringing. When will the so-called Western Powers get a backbone and tell the US to shove it? When will the Western Powers learn that appeasing a bully just leads to more bullying? Without Western allies the US is a drop in a bucket, so why do they keep capitulating to US aggression?

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Europeans know they have nothing to worry about -- Trump's days are nearly over.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

For the person above who gave me a minus, by “upside-down” I was referring to the way they are displaying the flag in the photograph. Just saying...
