“the special breaks and loopholes that are available in the tax code and sometimes just takes them to a whole new level."

In the belief system Trump and many of his followers claim to follow they’re instructed to "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s”. I interpret that to mean those who believe that book should pay their share of taxes owed.

Trump’s spent his life having his highly paid armies of lawyers, accountants and fixers (has Barr replaced Cohen as Trump’s fixer?) NOT rendering to Caesar much, if anything. Add avoiding military service.

Maybe someone with greater knowledge of that belief system can tell us if he’s a good ‘believer’.

Would someone who claims to be ‘patriotic’ pay his fixers huge sums of money so he would NOT have to pay taxes to support the government he’s supposed to support and be loyal to?

Predatory capitalists, the uberrich, the 'elite', the 'establishment', people like Trump have negligible if any allegiance to any belief system or nation. They only care about their bank accounts.

Trump is the best politician in modern American history for the uber rich, the worst for the general population.

Covid45 deaths increase while Trump plays golf at one of his luxury properties. On the taxpayers dollars.

So, where is the demand for worldwide politicians to change this unfair system?

There isn’t any, is there?

If people do not like it then stop buying products from companies that aggressively seek to avoid taxes.

I do, and the likes of Amazon, Microsoft and Netflix just do not get my money...

While I'm glad these revelations came out, I don't really think they make much of a difference at this point. Trump has his loyalists and haters. No one is on the fence about this guy anymore. Like him or hate him, he's probably the most polarizing POTUS ever, and people more or less have made up their minds about him.

STILL, good that this has come out.

Well, he had outstanding, brilliant lawyers like Micheal Cohen doing his taxes, right Trump supporters?

Throw in a little devaluing of assets here and there, and you too can pay zero...

All it takes is an open willingness to break the law....

That's an oath every Trump employee has to take before being hired...

Just ask Cohen - during visitation hours....

In other words, Trump is bad for taking advantage of the bankruptcy laws that most rich people benefit from, but Trump doing it, makes it that much worse, other rich people and powerful people, who cares, let’s just gloss over it and focus on Trump and this issue once again like we did in 2016 and failed so miserably, keep it up, we might have luck this time with these unproven allegations.

Taking advantage of depreciation of assets is not breaking the law. All businesses, including private business owners take advantage of depreciating assets and writes them off on their taxes. There's nothing illegal about it.

But leftists, socialists and communists believes anything of value or derives income should be taxed (read: confiscated) to the maximum.

Trump isn't exactly Charles Ponzi (close but not quite...maybe), but he is an artificial billionaire who's pulled the wool over millions of people.
