The sexual abuser Potus advises us to vote for the pedophile. I keep pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming...
Tommy Jones
Trump's much too busy . . . playing golf.
Like the GOP tax "reform" does to the middle class in 2026.
It'll be hilarious to read our resident conservatives rolling out the exact same drivel they always post. Predictable as an atomic clock, just not accurate like one.

Too bad for Moore
Laguna
Still conflicted. Part of me would love to see Moore in the Senate. He's what Alabama, and the GOP, deserve.
TumbleDry
Coming from DT spending tax payers money golfing in his venues...
bass4funk
There is zero proof that POTUS is a sexual abuser, zero, but I understand the severity of that State, a very conservative State and to support an alleged sexual abuser over a man that favors late term abortion, not a lot of good options, but if I were an Alabaman, I wouldn't vote for Jones, that's a given.
Me too.
Toasted Heretic
Apart from the tape where he admits to Billy Bush of sexually abusing women.
The tape which we've all heard. That's for starters.
And then there's all the allegations out there from various accusers, and some very grubby stuff about teenagers.
No wonder he's maintaining his bromance with Moore.
smithinjapan
bass4funk: "There is zero proof that POTUS is a sexual abuser, zero,"
Yup! Zero... he certainly doesn't "grab women by the p&%$y", and didn't rape his ex-wife, resulting in his son not talking to him for a year. Nope. Didn't walk in on girls in the change rooms during Miss Universe pageants. Nope. And he's not supporting a pedophile who does the same as him.

Readers, please keep the discussion focused on the Alabama state election.

He's gone on record saying that he favours keeping the law as it is at the moment, allowing late term abortion in the case of medical emergencies. Or are you still pedalling the lie propagated by the Moore campaign and Brietbart that Jones is okay with what they've decided to call "full term" abortions?
Strangerland
By that logic, there is zero proof that Louis CK and Al Franken did anything wrong either.
But those of us that know that the groper in chief actually admitted it. Just like Louis CK and Al Franken.
Toasted Heretic
Things get murkier as Trump donated to group accused of donating to group who planted fake news story
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-veritas-donation-washington-post-sting-james-o-keefe-abortion-story-a8080421.html
This is not going away, whatever the outcome in Alabama.
In fact, if Moore does get in - expect a downfall, very, very soon.
Blacklabel
Al Franken has a picture of his sexual assault. Both he and CK admitted what they did and apologized so no further proof needed.
the Trump is supporting Moore idea didn’t work because he didn’t say he was supporting. Now it’s Trump is NOT “not supporting” so he is bad too. Not gonna work. Has nothing to do with Trump, but the voters.
Blacklabel
So each Dem that isnt actively calling daily for Franken and Conyers to resign is actually supporting them and any behavior they may have shown?
That’s how this works now? Good to know that means all but 2 Dems in Congress support sexual assault related rights.
SuperLib
So we have a sexual predator President kind of supporting a sexual predator candidate but doesn't want to really go all in because he will look bad if the candidate loses but still wants to point to some things to take credit for if he wins.
On top of that you have the GOP, a group about to raise taxes on the middle class, who support the sexual predator President but will work to remove the sexual predator candidate if he wins.
Then you have the Trump/GOP base who are caught up in all of this giving knowingly false statements about the sexual predator candidate's rival to help the sexual predator candidate in hopes of being loyal to the party trying to remove him if he wins while the sexual predator Presidenr will hang them out to dry if they lose.
What does all of the mean? Get ready for some headlines about Hillary Clinton.
MrBum
This needs to get more attention. If it wasn't obvious before, this makes it painfully obvious that Project Veritas is a fraudulent hack organization. ACORN and Planned Parenthood deserve to get their name cleared. This is the real fake news people.
Let's be honest. Trump doesn't shy away from insulting those he doesn't support. The fact that he has harsher words for kneeling football players than a person who is almost certainly a child molester is all you need to know.
bass4funk
Ok, so why he doesn’t talk about that? Because he knows and every liberal knows that Jones has been for late term abortion, he was advised by his own people to NOT run on that platform because he knows he would sink faster than the Titanic and his stance on open borders is equally atrocious.
Well, it’s not a lie and if the people of Alabama want this guy that’s for open borders and wants to allow full term abortions or an alleged sexual abuser, then so be it, there choice, but neither of them are good. I feel sorry for the people of Alabama.
Has it been proven???
Yes, I would too, if it comes down to an alleged sexual predator or an abortion advocate being the conservative I am, I’ll go for the alleged sex abuser, makes my choice a lot more simple.
Well, it was never proven he did anything other than said rude things, if that’s the case, a lot of men are sexual predators, a lot of them and the Dems can’t say anything about tax reform when they don’t even know what it means to cut spending. Fiscal responsibility is not in the liberal lexicon, never existed and never will. Robbing Paul to give to Peter is the Democrats mantra. If you can’t create, take it from someone else.
Wow! You guys have a congressman who’s 88 years old and been in Congress for 54 years scaring women in his underwear a radical washed up former comedian now turned senator that for some reason can’t recall foundling women even when he is shown a photo of him doing it and 29 other Democrats that are accused of doing the same thing.
Moore just might be guilty of committing these alleged crimes, but the left can’t say anything with the seemingly increasing numbers of sex allegations flying at them like a Ross after Christmas rack sale. Pelosi said Conyers was a champion of the women and yet more and more accusers are coming out? This woman is in need of some serious help.
It doesn’t matter what the libs or the GOP think, the Dems have no room to talk and if Moore did commit these crimes then he is a scum, but we are all outsiders with different opinions, nothing more and the people that really have to stress out about this and ultimately make a serious decision on a serious issue for a man that represents their State and their values is something not to be taken lightly. I pray the people make the right choice and it’s up to them. I’m not a registered voter in the State of Alabama, but I Love the State, Love the people, their culture and way of life, but that’s all, so it doesn’t matter what I or any outsider thinks they will make the appropriate decision when the time comes.
Tommy Jones
Let's be honest and finish this though correctly: he supports late term abortions in medical emergencies. The dishonesty of this poster drops off the page.
Yes, it has. When someone admits doing something on tape, that is evidence that that person did that. Not to mention the multiple allegations against him.
You make it sound as if Jones is running around handing out coupons for abortions. Try being honest, it helps arguements.
And that says about all we need to know about this poster.
Yes, it was. Trump admitted to sexually touching women without the women's consent ON RECORD.
Stretching that truth again. I'm seeing a pattern develop. Franken admitted the photo was inappropriate, which is what you classify as groping despite the fact that it appears as if no contact was made.

How about a deliberate misrepresentation of his views, which you turned into a lie with your absurd claim that he would condone a fully grown baby getting... I think you used the term "cut to pieces" or something similar. Given that all he's actually said is that he supports keeping the law as it is and that he does not want to restrict a mother's right to choose, I'd like to know how anyone could get it into their heads his actual views were a lot more extreme. Actually, no - it's already pretty obvious that extreme right-wing elements in the media are looking for anything they can twist to make Jones look bad, they've hit on something just ambiguous enough to do the job and now gullible suckers are just lapping it up.
bass4funk
I believe that as much as Liberals believe in the Bible.
Yes, so that means, the feds never, ever used their power to force, intimidate or coerced people into making false statements. Look, I love to live in a perfect world, but I’m not going to say a confession means that someone is guilty because of it and I could be here all day with story after story of people saying things on tape and either retracting statements or having a bout with memory recall. Happens and happens a lot.
He avoids talking about it, because he knows that would be the end before it starts.
How do you know they didn’t lie or change their story? Happens. And again, funny how all these accusers pop up when there’s an election. Hmmmmm
I think the only pattern here is the hypocrisy that the left seems to dish out like piñata being smashed open, but when you shine the spotlight in the holes of their flawed, deeply flawed logic, they cry foul or run away like roaches ducking, dodging and evading.
wtfjapan
For once, how about the left claiming to be part of the party of tolerance put their beliefs into action what and tolerate Trump because hes POTUS, when he clearly has very little tolerance for many groups and individuals against him. LOL
Look, I love to live in a perfect world, but I’m not going to say a confession means that someone is guilty because of it and I could be here all day with story after story of people saying things on tape and either retracting statements or having a bout with memory recall. Happens and happens a lot. wow the FBI are into forced confessions now, unless its a liberal whos being interrogated then alls fine. the alternate facts/excuses are piling up with the right
Tommy Jones
This:
in no way addresses this:
but it does display a common argumentative strategy of conservatives.
No, it isn't what I was saying. What I was saying is conservatives constantly repeat falsehoods l. I was clear on that.
Oh, look, again this:
is completely unrelated to this:
What it is the poster grasping at straws for lack of a substantive retort.
There are vast numbers of liberals that believe in the Bible, but nice try to demonize liberals. Additionally, it doesn't matter what you believe, facts matter.
Look, a third instance of two unrelated comments. This:
has no bearring on this:
Trump was not being interrogated by law enforcement when he admitted to touching women without the consent of the women.
A fourth instance of a non-sequitur rebuttal:
This:
is not an appropriate response to this:
Hint to effectively argue: Procide responses that are relevant to what you are responding to.
I would say this post does a decent job of demonstrating certain conservative's deeply flawed logic and crying foul, running away like a cockroach, ducking, dodging, and evading.

It will be great after Moore wins then he can be treated exactly the same as Franken and Conyers. By that time probably be a few more names on that list.
Strangerland
The main difference being of course that he’s a kiddy fiddler.
If an accused kiddy fiddler will get voted in anywhere, it’s going to be Alabama. And then the rest of America will feel about Alabama as the rest of the world feels about America.
Tommy Jones
Setting aside the false equivalency, which Stranger pointed out above, Moore may not be allowed to take his seat because at least some republicans find kiddy fiddling repugnant. JT conservative posters excluded, of course.
Blacklabel
Why do you guys have to take everything so far from what it is?
If you say I am personally uncomfortable with a man in his 30s dating teenagers most people ageee with you. But with no proof you move to assaulter then rapist then pedo then that nonsense you typed-you just lose all credibility and support along the way.
you did the same thing with the Trump tape and it turned people off so more people voted for him after it than planned to before it.
Keep to the basic facts that are supported. Then you might be able to get somewhere with it when Republicans do things wrong and you want to capitalize on it.
Blacklabel
AFTER he wins there is no false equivalency they are all Congressmen.
my question is this:
white guy, ex comedian, 4 accusers, admitted the allegations on 1 and other 3 doesn’t remember. Full support and no one saying he has to quit his job.
black guy, civil rights icon, 3 accusers, completely and vehemently denies all. Has to step down from his post, Pelosi pulls support and is being forced out as more people pressure him to quit daily.
isnt this umm.....racist?
Strangerland
But two of them will be non-kiddy-fiddler congressmen, and one will. Which one of these doesn’t belong...
MrBum
Umm, "we" did what with the Trump tape? The absolutely real tape where Trump brags about being able to grab the P without consent because he's rich. We don't know if he actually did it, but he said he did and then there are all those similar accusations, which in hindsight are as bad as the one's bringing many in Hollywood down.
You're right that the majority of REPUBLICAN VOTERS were still with him though. But that says something about Republican voters, not "us."
It's actually gotten pretty bad for Franken. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I was willing to let the butt grabbing during photo shoots slide. But if the accusation of propositioning to meet in the bathroom is true... Still not child molesting though.
There's also the fact that he used taxpayer money to settle the lawsuits. That's probably more relevant than his race.
Blacklabel
I decided to vote for Trump only after liberals tried to tell me that his comments on the tape proved trump was a serial sexual predator while at the same time totally ignoring the other candidate’s husband who actually did those things.
If liberals hadn’t gone too far with it, if just said it’s inappropriate and demeaning to women and someone who thinks like that and says it out loud like shouldnt be president, I could have agreed and wouldn’t have voted at all. But took it too far just like most other things and turned people like me off.
Tommy Jones
Moore suddenly doesn't remember the women accusing him despite having admitted knowing them less than a month ago.
https://www.google.co.jp/amp/www.newsweek.com/roy-moore-accusers-trump-alabama-724562%3famp=1
nishikat
Trump didn't use common sense offending a bunch of American Indians and their families. He was called a stupid child by them (look it up for proof)
Tommy Jones
Oh, women under the age of 18 are not considered adults even if they can consent to marriage. If the do get married, it's a different story. Ergo, multiple women could testify that Moore molested them when they were under the age of majority.
Tommy Jones
It's frightening that some people will not accept assertions from a person that that person is a sexual predator because that person aligns with them politically. It's also telling of one's moral compass that they would vote for a self-confessed predator simply because the other party pointed out what the self-confession meant.
Blacklabel
https://www.ageofconsent.net/states/alabama
except that Alabama is 16, so only 15 and under.
Tommy Jones
So incorrect. See my 6:03 post for why.
Tommy Jones
Read about the age of majority in Alabama yourself:
http://statelaws.findlaw.com/alabama-law/alabama-legal-ages-laws.html
Blacklabel
Read my link, no one talking about being an”adult”, you guys talking salacious accusations about sexual contact. So one more time:
The Alabama Age of Consent is 16 years old. In the United States, the age of consent is the minimum age at which an individual is considered legally old enough to consent to participation in sexual activity.
nishikat
So he was 30s and going after legal 16-year-olds. OK, legal but weird.
Tommy Jones
Being of the age of consent does not make one an adult, being of the age of majority does. Thusly, molesting someone under the age of majority is kiddy-fiddling. Ergo, multiple women could testify that Moore molested them when they where under the age of majority. Consent only applies when it is given.
bass4funk
But legal.
Depends on where you are at and it depends on the teenager. In many cultures women marry at 16 some can handle it and some can't.
Ok, that might be your opinion and even mine, but if the age of consent is 16 then Moore was within the laws and therefore did nothing concerning the legal aspect of the situation.
We shall see whether these women were telling the truth or if Moore lied about the entire thing, but the man is entitled the presumption of innocence before he's brought before a lynch mob.
nishikat
yes, a 30-something-year-old chasing 16 year-old girls at the mall. But probably less than 16 as well since he could have misjudged. You just don't go up to a high school girl (as a man in your 30s) and say if you are 16 let's go back to my house and @@@@@@@@@. Which means it's a crime if any girl was under 16 and probably some were. In any case he is a weird man. Criminal? Depends on what can be proven. But Trump followers are blaming these girls and not Moore.
Tommy Jones
Just to help you, the age of consent is the age at which a person can legally consent to sexual intercourse. The age of major is the age at which a person enjoys the rights and privileges of an adult such as voting.
Feel free to argue, but you will be incorrect.
bass4funk
So dodging and evading questions is a sign of clarification? Ok...but.....
But still legal under the law as far as the legality of it is concerned.
Tommy Jones
No. Having repeatedly stated positions is being clear.
Only if consent was given. The original conversation was regarding whether it is defamation to call Moore a kiddy-fiddler. Go back and read the posts so you have context.
bass4funk
Yes, both are creepy, but If I had to choose, I'll go with a conservative creepy.
SuperLib
Trump's tweet last night:
Charles McCullough, the respected fmr Intel Comm Inspector General, said public was misled on Crooked Hillary Emails. “Emails endangered National Security.” Why aren’t our deep State authorities looking at this? Rigged & corrupt?
bass4funk
No, it's just the truth.
