"In a Washington Post interview, Trump warned that a “very massive recession” is coming, and he said he could eliminate the $19 trillion national debt in two terms. Most economists say that’s impossible without wrecking the federal budget." - article

Donald J. Trump is again showing his complete lack of interest in anything Presidential.

'Disaster Looms, Trump is YOUR Savior!'

Being an idiot is enough of a black mark, Sarah Palin proved that.

Now an abrasive, ignorant idiot has just raised the bar for how low the GOP/Tea will go.

Right to the bottom. Pathetic.

I'm not claiming to have any more insight into what is going on than anyone else but at least you can't say he doesn't think outside the Professional Sellout Lawyer Politicians Box. . :)

Donald Trump's Unusual Plan to Lower the National Debt: Sell Off 19 Trillion In Government Assets

As president, Donald Trump would sell off $16 trillion worth of U.S. government assets in order to fulfill his pledge to eliminate the national debt in eight years, senior adviser with the campaign Barry Bennett said. "The United States government owns more real estate than anybody else, more land than anybody else, more energy than anybody else," Bennett told Chris Jansing Sunday on MSNBC. "We can get rid of government buildings we're not using, we can extract the energy from government lands, we can do all kinds of things to extract value from the assets that we hold."

"Even among the working-class whites, who have been the foundation of his success in the Republican primaries, Mr. Trump would enter the general election with substantial difficulties. He is viewed unfavorably by a majority of whites without college degrees, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll early last month."

The number show a very different from the one Trump inhabits. Trump rages, the fans punch someone, Trump says something stupid. End of.

“Was this my best week? I guess not,” Trump said on “Fox News Sunday.”

Guess FOXNews isn't too angry with Trump for his wierd obsessions.

Trump was trying to recover from a rough week in which he found himself struggling to explain away controversies over abortion, nuclear weapons and his campaign manager.

Trump, like Bush 43, was born with a silver foot in his mouth.

As he flip flops, slithers snakelike and tries to convince the MSM (his biggest boosters?) and his ovine authoritarian nationalist followers that he didn't say what he just said I'm reminded of Homer Simpson's quote "Weaselling out of things is important to learn! It's what separates us from the animals… except the weasel."

Pop!

“There is no precedent for this,” said Neil Newhouse, a veteran Republican pollster. “In the modern polling era, since around World War II, there hasn’t been a more unpopular potential presidential nominee than Donald Trump.” - New York Times - Saturday, April 2, 2016

"Frustration with the Republican field has stoked calls in some Republican corners for the party to use a contested convention to pick someone not even on the ballot." - article

Even the GOP/Tea will take anyone as long as it isn't Donald J. Trump.

At leaste Trump still has the interest of the court system. . .

Last week, the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court ruled that a lawsuit that had been brought against Trump University in 2013 could go forward."

"That suit accuses Trump of actual fraud, or, as the decision puts it, of the use of “deception, misrepresentation, concealment, suppression, false pretense, false promise or unconscionable contractual provisions” to “defraud.”

Rush Limbaugh’s Blessing Of Trump Is Killing Conservatism - Michael Gerson - The Washington Post - Monday, March 28, 2016

"Populist anti-intellectualism, on the rise at least since Sarah Palin, has culminated in Trump. It is the passing of conservatism, even if Limbaugh baptizes the dead (ref: Trump)"

Wider afield . . .

"Over in China, says Ed Wong, New York Times bureau chief, "Chinese elites might talk about it, but it is not something that is foremost in the minds of ordinary Chinese. Some Chinese state media publications have mentioned the election in editorials – usually to show how bad or dysfunctional democracy is, citing the rise of Trump as an example."

Trump's "campaign" is Trump.

Why is everyone expecting so much from the billionaire?

All those other countries are just jealous.

They wish they had Trumps too.

Everyone accuses Trump of being stupid and unthinking yet he has a lawsuit against as kcjapan points out that accuses him of being anything but!

Which is it?

For clairity: the lawsuit is going forward, the lawsuit accuses Trump of actual fraud.

Stop peddling this crap. If you dug into this case you'd find the charges are bogus and about some NY prosecutor trying to make a name for himself. But really, I know I'm wasting my time with you. MSM lies and disinformation are the tools of the scared elite.

Greta of NBC is operating Trump Talk. Trump will bring back jobs back from China. I think he meat auto industry that make cars for Chinese people. He mentioned more on Japan to spending money to protect Japan. Also he said bring back American companies from Japan. Audiences were confused. Also he sounded confused which country is S Korea or Japan.

Does this mean Trump is taking all the credit cards away from Obama and Congress?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

MSM lies and disinformation are the tools of the scared elite.

Trump, an established member of the US ruling class, a man accustomed to the privileges bought by his daddy to ensure he stays a core member of the elite, a man who's long used the MSM for his own personal interests, does seem to be running scared. His highly paid DC Beltway political manipulators have been doing whatever he pays them to do to try to ensure his convoluted messages continue to appeal to those yearning for authoritarian nationalism. The media are his lapdogs peddling these messages to the latest flock of true believers who think Trump can save them from the holes they've dug themselves in. Included in this group are the nihilists who think Trump's going to blow things up. The nihilists realize once it's all blown up it cannot be put back together again ala Humpty Dumpty. He's the prefect candidate for a range of disaffected folks, including these nihilists and anarchists, in addition to the white nationalists and other angry WASP's who've not taken advantage of their white privileges and blame others for their failings.

=Trump will win WI.

MoveOn.org (George Soros) et al need to pay these protestors more. The $15/hr is not enough to get these lazy bums out in the cold/wind. Need to probably double that to $30/hr. Open up those pockets and pay these protestors better !! Don't people feel bad for that 1 anti-Trump protestor. He stuck it out though -Bernie would have been proud.

MSM lies and disinformation are the tools of the scared elite.

Yeah, it's astounding the amount of lies and disinformation Fox "News" peddles. I'm glad to see some right-wingers starting to realize that too.

Trump will lose WI but he will win NY. Who will win CA?

Not Trump. (just got bck from there) . . . .strong anti-Trump sentiment. Cruz will prob cash out with the tons of delegates in CA. The real battle in CA will be Clinton/Sanders.

Graham tried to reassure an Arab world wary of Trump, who has called for banning Muslim immigration to the United States. "Arab world"? "Wary"? Trump is the least of their problems. There are alot more serious issues those people should be more concerned about. They shouldn't be trying to emigrate to the US anyways. We're "infidels" -Remember??

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

CA awards delegates based on congressional districts, so it is likely to be a wash for both Trump and Cruz. Heck, even Kasich might pick up a few delegates.

He does not know anything about the abortion legal issue Roe vs Wade. He does not know a role of NATO, Japan/US Peace Treaty, Geneva War Criminal Treaty and nuclear proliferation. That's why Putin loves Trump. If he becomes US President, the hell will break loose and Russia and China will take us over to the World War III..

Hey, I live in the Rockies with lots of greens and fresh clean air. The Rockies are beautiful national treasures. We will make sure we will pass this beauty to the next generations. These land developers are salivating now. They are behind Trump. They will chop up greens for lumbers. They will cut these land for golf courses and ski slopes. No thanks. We will do everything to stop this jerk. Remember, this is not Amarillo TX ugly town with no greens and petrolium smelly air.

"the prospect of a loss that could stem his momentum toward securing the Republican presidential nomination."

The only other candidate with any chance of getting enough delegates to win the nomination is...Cruz! Yikes!

"Hillary Clinton told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that she had yet to receive a request from the FBI for an interview regarding the private email system she used as secretary of state."

Maybe they'll just arrest her.

"Trump warned that a “very massive recession” is coming, and he said he could eliminate the $19 trillion national debt in two terms. Most economists say that’s impossible without wrecking the federal budget."

The federal budget is a total wreck now.

"Sen. Lindsey Graham tried to reassure an Arab world wary of Trump"

This must mean the Arab world takes Trump seriously, unlike Obama or Clinton.

“The Congress is going to be around no matter who is president,”

Yes, this is a major problem. Perhaps the voters could throw out all the Republicans and Democrats and vote in independents.

"Trump will lose WI but he will win NY. Who will win CA?"

In November, whoever is the Democratic nominee will win California. It must really suck to be a conservative in California or to be a liberal in Texas.

It's what separates us from the animals… except the weasel."

As if anything is wrong being born rich. All the Kennedy's were born with a silver spoon in their mouths, good for them. Being rich and making as much money as possible is not a crime. Trump is not a seasoned politician, Obama wasn't either. Trump needs to pull back a little and keep his mouth and temper better in check, I do agree, but he's bounced back so far, he's still popular with most middle class Whites, has a lot of liberals and getting more Blacks, quite a few of the unions. Trump didn't become a millionaire for being dumb, he didn't get his own show on TV for 12 years because he's inept.

As FOX is concerned, the problem is conservatives are now mad because they think and expect their chosen candidates to get more airtime, but none of these idiots understand how this all works. For one thing, Trump always makes himself available to all the cable news networks, even msnbc that is in the tank for anything liberal (lived it for 13 years) was not going to miss out on the Trump gravy train. Kasich tries to make himself available as well, but Cruz on the other hand gets testy a few days ago with Anderson Cooper why he isn't on more and Cooper had to slam him down saying that they offered and asked him to come on, but they were declined. So it's more about the candidates making themselves available than being in the tank for any particular one, which at least CNN or FOX haven't shown any bias, msnbc are teetering a lot, but I'm assuming I can kind of get where they will plant their ideological flag on.

He does not know anything about the abortion legal issue Roe vs Wade. He does not know a role of NATO, Japan/US Peace Treaty, Geneva War Criminal Treaty and nuclear proliferation. That's why Putin loves Trump.

Actually, I think Putin would be nervous to have Trump in the White House, because in all reality, you just don't want to cross a person like him, which is something I don't think is all that bad. Our enemies enjoyed the Obama years because they all thought he was a joke, won't follow up with any of his promises and would back down in a heartbeat. This is another thing that millions of Americans are tired of.

If he becomes US President, the hell will break loose and Russia and China will take us over to the World War III.

I doubt it, I think it's the opposite, since Obama has been in office, Russia and China have been on a loose canon spree with Putin encroaching and annexing Crimea and China build airstrips in the China sea Strait.

These sentiments are likely common across America.

One affect of the confidence man on his mark, the mark can't admit he or she has been taken or else appear the fool.

The residual interest in Trump is only in the legal proceedings steming from his eight month campaign to destroy his own bandname. Well done Mr. Trump! (genius businessman and torture advocate)

Trump and Cruz had a joint announcement. Both of them work together to have two front runners so they requested Kasich to drop out when Kasich. do not have enough delegates less than Rubio who dropped out.

Probably to most progressive liberals, I'm sure of it, but for the average American, it probably will fall on deaf ears knowing that this is nothing but lies and false speculation. Let's just hope that Trump will continue to take his wrecking ball down to Washington.

wierd obsessions

Wierd (sic) obsessions? Come on KC you really have to look in the mirror sometimes.

Your obsessive sloganeering, your obsessive denigration of of anyone who supports Trump and your just flat out fanatical obsession with Trump himself all come off as kind of weird. At least to this Sanders supporter.

What are Trump's wierd (sic) obsessions again?

The same thing can be said about the return on investments for his suckers. Who on this comment board would invest their money on anything to do with Trump? You can kiss your money good bye.

With Obama's approval rating over 50% it's a very good number for a president on his way out. Too bad there is no third term.

'You just don't want to cross a person like him?' Is this a president or some stumble bum bully from the old neighborhood? Cross a person like him? Because Trump is dangerously unstable and has the manners of a slobbering bigot?

The comment may mean a bigot and a fool shouldn't crossed?

Trump seems proof they were crossed and the GOP/Tea popped out a Trump.

Cry-baby the issue, as some always will, Trump is the author of his own failure.

Having an unstable ignorant freak like Trump in the White House isn't cause for relief, it's cause for a reality check.

In eight months of campaigning all's Trump is known for is being a complete failure.

When the New York court gets through with him he will be a felon.

Another Madoff schemer thinks Americans want his clumsy narcissism hovering over the red button?

Not bloody likely.

DEM side... more agreeing than shouting match. Trump withdrew his abortion comments, now moderators are trying to figure out definition of fetus and embryo as Hillary said unborn person does not have constitutional right and Sanders said hearted with Secretary of State.

Trump's MILWAUKEE — A frustrated Donald Trump worked to right his campaign on Sunday after a rough week

Someone else's MILWAUKEE — In the midst of chastising Donald Trump on Saturday for showing intolerance toward Muslims, Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders told an audience here that some of his relatives died in the Holocaust as the result of “a lunatic … stirring up racial hatred.”

“On a personal note, some of you know I’m Jewish,” Sanders said during a town hall meeting here. “My father came to this country at the age of 17 from Poland. He came over, other people in his family did not come over. Those people died. Children died. … So that is in my heart, to see what a lunatic can do by stirring up racial hatred.”

Actually, I think Putin would be nervous to have Trump in the White House, because in all reality, you just don't want to cross a person like him, which is something I don't think is all that bad.

Trump in the White House would unify the rest of the world against the U.S. Trump has not one single world leader siding with him, as Trump has proven that he'd rather not go through any diplomatic channels whatsoever and just impose his will on others to do his bidding. In the end, Trump may get what he wants: an expensive colossal wall, reduction of trade between foreign countries due to his unreasonably high tariffs, and America being alone in this world. All of that, at the expense of the American economy and Americans' quality of life.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

White House... either Hillary or Sanders. Not GOP again as it has two mud slinging experts as front runners and Kasich is more interesting in promoting himself than promoting USA.
