Here you are disparaging the US.

It was not stable. Libya was in a civil war and Gaddafy's regime was committing mass rapes, nerve gas attacks and other abuses on the rebels. Gaddafy was a major terrorist problem and Reagan waged war on him in the 80s because of it. Now with the 2011 insurrection occurring Gaddafy would've activated his terror machine again and unleashed it on Europe, Med Sea and half of Africa like he did before. The danger was even more apparent than ever - Gaddafy's time was up and he would've taken many more lives for his last jollies. He was a menace, he had to go. The people rose up and overthrew him, with NATO help. They asked for it and got it. Libya was a rogue state under the rule of its Macbeth. He got his due.

Libya is now a battleground for various players in the Middle East, plus a humanitarian nightmare. Thank you so much, Hillary Clinton and Obama for creating this mess.

Been overdosing on CNN propaganda again, have we. These so-called "rebels" aka islamist terrorists were being dealt with quickly by Gaddafi, until Clinton and Obama abused Nato and US military to support them.

Yes Gaddafi kept a lid on the Muslim fanatics for sure, but the rebellion was by all Libyans. Gadaffi himself was a trouble-maker and terror-monger in his own right and he was a danger to Europe, Mediterrean Sea, and half of Africa. Remember the crap he did, the Pan Am bombing over Lockerbie, UK? Plane bombings? Airport acts? He just sat back and chuckled. In 2011 the time had come, Libya was going to overthrow him. He used chemical attacks and mass rapes on his people. If that's not a humanitarian crisis, what is?
Now Libya is a battleground and a crazy mess and the new Libyan government has to handle it. Obama did what was needed to be done to protect our NATO allies and our Armed Forces from this rascal. He always was a menace and now he is finished. Obama did what any POTUS should've done at the time. And Hillary Clinton had nothing to do with it all.
The Libya War of 2011 was an even more urgent dangerous situation than the Libya War of 1985 - 1986. It was a case where quick action was needed - damned if you do and damned if you don't. As for the humanitarian disaster, it already was. Much of Africa is being besieged in sickening ethnic and civil wars right now anyway. The civil wars of Liberia and Sierra Leone that began in late 1989 were a start but the Rwanda Genocide of 1994 really kick-started the chaotic chain-reaction.
