The Turks have much to atone for, and continue their barbaric practices to this day.

Armenians have a different opinion than the nationalistic Turks.

There are many Turks who agree it was genocide, btw. I've worked with Turkish people for years, traveled there, stayed with their families a few times and found those friends to be good, hard-working, family-oriented people. My friends were not on team Erdogan and some have been disappeared since 2013 - believed taken by the Erdogan govt. We assume they are dead.

One of my business partners has Armenian ancestry. His family is spread all over the world - Indonesia, Argentina, parts of Europe, US and Armenia. We visited Turkey together and he pointed out all the similarities in culture and foods.

The govt of Turkey is in denial. Partially, because they won that conflict. They are looking back far too much and holding grudges far too long, which seems odd since Constantinople was taken over all the time by different groups going back to Roman times. Holding a grudge more than a few generations after peace is made doesn't help either side. It is just a weight that should be shed.

Hmmm... let's see, there were 2.1 million Armenians in Ottoman Turkey in 1914... and by 1921, that was reduced down to 281K and today, there remain only 60K. Luckily, about 350K escaped to Armenia.

So... if wiping out the number of Armenians who had been living in Turkey for generations wasn't a 'genocide'... exactly what does Erdogan consider it?

They just disappeared... into thin air??

A hundred years and they are still trying unsuccessfully to cover up their genocide.
