I hope they’re found safe.

I also hope this isn't another US spook agency's attempts to get Trump's Americans to believe Nigeria is another problem country, thereby justifying US military involvement.

Given Russia and China are both involved in Nigeria, given Nigeria has oil and gas, given Nigeria has other resources the major powers want greater control of, and given how ethnically fractured Nigeria is (boundaries drawn by colonial power, - similar to Iraq, Syria, etc.?), adding to long-standing risks faced by its national government, Nigeria has the conditions that make it ripe for the US, Russia and China to fight over, either directly or using proxy forces.

I have read a lot about Nigerians and their bad did, i blame the Nigerian government for all these, the country is full of corruption and all sort of bad things and they are known all over the world. I pray they catch those who are behind all these.

Nigeria is complicated. It has 120 different languages and complicated religions. North and south are different. But I think @PT is on to something.

This is what I’m talking about. Why would anyone go there?

China seems more willing to step into the oily muddy mess there.

But no complaints about burning their oil in your car, Chevron and Exxon-Mobil,

Oh, please, this has nothing to do with oil or trade, it has to do with the country as a whole and safety. We give them $93 million to fight poverty and over $603 million in foreign aid and it's still a mess.

or how they also play a part in the corruption or the environmental disasters created by these and other oil companies. SH countries which your dollar helps to create.

Uh-huh, the kidnappings, the violence, rape, increase poverty, the scams, the corruption going on, the murders, that’s not the fault of the US.

Again, why would anyone want to go there. Unbelievable.
