Withness the police activity and follow-up after the Sydney freedom protest on Saturday. The NSW police want people to report on anyone who they knew was at the protest so as to catch and fine them for breaking the lockdown rules. Never mind that the people who make the rules don't have to make any sacrifices.

The cops and their unquestioning media are trying to manipulate public opinion by circulating a deceptive photo of a man allegedly punching a horse.

However, looking at the incident in context on video shows a different story altogether. The man was trying to avoid the horse's rear legs as it turned around, and then he put up his left arm either in defence or to regain balance. This was clearly NOT a punch.

No you didn't read correctly. Or at least you disingenuously interpreted the motives. Lockdown is about cases not deaths. Get cases to zero in the community and you have peace.

True. Which is why they didn't destroy their economy and have the most freedoms in the world (spare New Zealand).

You might want to ask all the people whose small businesses have been destroyed and can't get enough assistance to stay afloat before you claim things are going along swimmingly. The tax base took a huge hit from lockdowns, so governments had to get the money from somewhere to fund their record deficits - borrowings and printing money, where applicable. Borrowings have to be paid back, and money printing is likely to eventually trigger inflation unless the value of goods and services rise to keep pace. And who's going to pay for it? You.

And you can't realistically get cases to zero, with or without lockdowns. SARS-CoV-2 will drift into the background but is highly unlikely to die off completely. Trying to get to zero cases will cause more and bigger problems than it solves.

What we have here is organised deceit involving governments, mainstream media, and corporations that are making enormous loads of money from this scam. The links I posted above are just a few fragments of evidence showing this to be the case.

The purpose of these lockdowns is to help the economy. A few weeks of hardship in a couple of cities is better than years of battling the virus nationally.

No worries on that, the Australian economy is thriving.

The UK had a substantial number of deaths, severe lockdowns and is governed by clowns, but I'd rather be here as we vaccinate and live with residual covid, than be locked in an isolated bubble for keeps.

And why just Covid? If you locked up/deported all HIV sufferers, you could have an 'HIV zero' policy too. Then you could start on those with Hep. A.

The world got through everything from the Black Death to the 1918 flu by taking a hit and getting on with it. The hit from Covid has not been as bad as it might have been and we now have vaccines.

Umm. Maybe if they had a vaccine for HIV, the would have an HIV zero policy as well. And why would you lockup or deport the sufferers? Nobody is doing that. Covid sufferers quarantine for two weeks or so until they are no longer infectious. Just common sense.
