The West has rendered itself defenseless against Islamic supremacists - using their own freedoms against them. It will have to get much worse before they will see how dire the situation is becoming.

The West has rendered itself defenseless against Islamic supremacists - using their own freedoms against them.

The freedoms of the west are its strengths. Take them away, and you have just another ISIS.

The real way that the west has rendered itself defenseless against islamic supremacists is twofold:

1) The west is in the wrong for invading the Middle East, killing innocents, bombing weddings and hospitals etc. This provides the speaking points that the extremists use against the west.

2) The west has fallen to fear, and in doing so is stooping to the level of ISIS. The west is becoming what it hates, and doing so of its own free will.

what do you base this hyperbole on??

Fear.

Australia should deport to northern Syria/Iraq those who are charged and found guilty of terrorists plots in the name of ISIL. Let them live the life they purportedly support.

Some places in the world would provide a good cane to drive home a lesson of unacceptable behavior. It is important to try to understand misbehavior.

I thought the article said Australian authorities had just arrested people and charged them with conspiracy. That sounds like Australia is being defended. Good on them!

Those radicalized Amish...

...and once again, we will be told that islam has nothing to do with jihadism. Could have been anybody!

Exaggeration about terror is just like making advertisement for it . I mean 15 years old boy , can create condom bombs , this way may commentators are filled with conspiracy theories trying to attack what's cold islamic supremacists , terrorists and so on . As much as I hate terror , I hate those attack everything belongs to around twenty thousand million muslim across the globe . Collective punishment create hate , hate create rationalization for everything according to the tolerance or IQ of the individual .

Fear.

yes - confected fear

Canberra is concerned about the prospect of lone-wolf attacks by individuals inspired by organisations such as the Islamic State group

They have every right to be concerned. With terror occurring from Paris to southern CA during the past month, ISIS is able to strike anywhere they want.

This is why the Aussies have been turning away boat people, refusing to renew visas and deporting / arresting shady immigrants.

The US Homeland Security needs to take stronger measures too, Tashfeen Malik proved it "can" be done.

Well, strangerland, you are always advocating an appeasement approach to ISIS, etc. Do your homework and read their statements (and those of myriad other Islamic groups). They state that they will never stop until the world is one Islamic community.

Not at all.

They state that they will never stop until the world is one Islamic community.

Let's review your original comment:

Islam is the religion of peace, and so long as we all convert to Islam we have nothing to fear.

Now you are saying that ISIS has stated they will never stop until the world is one Islamic community. Do you really believe ISIS is a representative of all Muslims? Are all rapists a representative of you as a male?

But we"re talking abt ISIS and related Islamic groups. They have stated they will not stop until everyone in the the world is muslim. (its also in the Koran, btw). Btw, news just in from Australia - terrorist attack thwarted by police. We're hearing their names - Ibrahim, Suleman, etc - but no mention of them being muslims. Hey, did you write the news release?

No, you were talking about Islam as a whole.

They have stated they will not stop until everyone in the the world is muslim.

And I ask again, are rapists representative of you as a male? Because it's the same thing - you're condemning the group for the actions of a few.

(its also in the Koran, btw).

So you figure that if it's in the koran, it means all Muslims must be tainted? Maybe you need to watch this: http://www.vox.com/identities/2015/12/8/9871742/bible-quran-video

Seems like you should be equally scared of Christians if what's in the book means that all members of the religion are tainted by it.

For example?

For example?

I'm going to assume you read the link, and watched the video.

And I'm going to be appalled that you are OK with the things it says in the bible, knowing that Christians are using this as a base to their religion in the same way Muslims are using the Quran.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Oh wow, you provide that shallow and slick little video complete with "cool" background music and planted "interviewees" as some kind of evidence? Haha.

And you were talking about christians and how they are "tainted" by the bible. Im no expert but your link-ertainment was quoting from the old testament, I think. Nothing from the new testament which is what jesus is all about. Whats going on here, strangerland?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

They also allowed women to walk around naked and had men sit in their yard drinking bear to try to find the Muslims because a true Muslim would kill themselves when seeing one of two of those things

Piles of dead bodies on 9/11, in the London subways, in Paris, in San Bernadino, Fort Hood, on trains bombed in Madrid, along with multiple recruitment center killings, and numerous attempted attacks thwarted by law enforcement in Europe and the US, etc... You may not care about it but ask the people of Paris or San Bernadino and they will tell you that things have become dire.

@Strangerland:

So your point is:

1) Western military involvement against dictatorships in the Middle East justifies terrorism against innocent civilians? Really? And how do you explain why Obama is still invading countries in the ME and bombing hospitals? Do you believe the West would be better off not defending itself?

2) military and law enforcement action in response to terrorism, and simple statements by politicians to restrict immigration (that are not actually the law) make America equivalent to ISIS?

Talk about hyperbole!

I still can't believe people say that multiculturalism is a failure. It's not. The real issue is just that some "cultures" and I mean one particular religious ideology that is not an "ethnic culture" that does not and can not assimilate to their host country but expects that host country to assimilate to them instead. In other words, it's taking advantage of most countries multicultural stance and destroying it from the ground up when possible.
