Russia will never be able to take Odessa, especially since they flooded Kherson as a direct result of one of Kyiv's great victories.

Russia had launched “around 30 missiles of various types, more than 800 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 300 strike drones against Ukraine” this week.

Zelensky could stop this tomorrow by pulling his illegal invasion force out of Kursk so civilians can return to their homes and by agreeing to the international peace plan which calls for Kiev to stay neutral and respect the sovereignty of the Russian speaking Ukrainian regions.

Odesa is effectively held captive at the moment. The population there are pro-Russian and the Kyiv regime knows it. They speak Russian, respect the culture and history of a city founded by Catherine the Great.

Also important to observe the "regional governor" mentioned in the article was voted for by precisely zero percent of the local population. Appointed by decree and not from there. Of course, they will not allow a free vote down there. Everyone knows what transpired at the Trade Unions House.

So basically surrender. And you are surprised they don't go for that?

Doesn't change the fact that it will remain the legal property of Kyiv.

international peace plan

There was a second country that signed on to Putin's fascist demands?

The Ukrainians are really adept at the use of drones. Wouldn't it make more sense to give them nothing but loads and loads of drones? And really high-tech ones too that could strike any target in Russia.

question.simple one and ON TOPIC omne.

what did UA defence did with all of their Patriots and other NATO provided gamechangers aka wunderwaffen?

all in off line mode or too much of horylka for heroi last night?

again question is simple and ON TOPIC,related directly to article.

let me say they may afraid to use Patriots now since they have shot down own F16 some days go,before shot one to Poland some months ago...clearly need more training???

where are news abt 3 UA jets shot down yesterday by russian forces?

ok1513 is that how UA prevails???

btw i see no news abt heavy flooding in East and Central Europe caused huge devastation so money for Kiev junta will get dry as these govs will be forced use money from own taxpayers to cover these damages first.

we suppose to read here everyday how UA forces are successful,no possting these news news here may make some UA prevailers upset here...

who minds if these winning news are truth or not while common sense gone nowhere...?something like UA forces shot down 120 russian missiles from 100 fired...make them proud that they are supporting a "good thing" from tehri taxes...

It's a very interesting topic. I read from Russian voenkors that Ukrainians from recently use less foreign military equipment. They prefer to keep it away from the front line. They hide the foreign military technique in shelters. There are several reasons: poor adaptation to local conditions, often poor quality and engineering errors, and ...saving resources, because for each such tech unit it is necessary to report and justify. Very often, foreign equipment turns out to be worse than Soviet-made equipment, and this serves as its anti-advertising.

Just remember that because this started on August 6th with the Azovian militants ghastly invasion and attack on Russian civilians, Russia is just defending itself, not 'attacking'.

PS, with the Azovian raiders rampaging around a small area in Kursk are facing multiple dilemmas (lack of a secure supply chain, the approach of winter, and having exhausted all the easy looting opportunities) which combined means either a hasty fleeing back to Zelensky's tender welcome for those who achieved none of the things he wanted, a hasty surrender (with Zelensky's tender feelings being directed at their families) or the same slow fate that their predecessors suffered.

And if you believe that, I've got an intact Kursk bridge to sell you. Your side couldn't even provide unexpired rations or maintain air superiority over Ukraine.

People outside of Russia know that there has been a heinous but unsuccessful assault on Ukraine for the past 2+ years.
