Is anyone surprised? a dictatorship that's keen not to give it's own people any ideas and a country which seems to disagree with the west at times just to spite them.

I love these lines: "Immediately after the vote on Tuesday, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice said the “the courageous people of Syria can now clearly see who on this council supports their yearning for liberty and human rights—and who does not.”

“Those who oppose this resolution and give cover to a brutal regime will have to answer to the Syrian people—and, indeed, to people across the region who are pursuing the same universal aspirations,” she said."

I'm sure the Palestinians agree 100%

China and Russia have some of the worlds worst human rights records, do we really think that these 2 evil countries give a crap about anybody else?? No! They are communists, they only want power, $$$$, and they are AFRAID of what is happening in Syria etc..they do not want to see people fighting for freedom etc..in the streets of Moscow and Beijing.

China and Russia do have blood on their hands. Russia has killed 61,000,000 with 43,000,000 by Stalin alone. China has killed 110,000,000 from 1900 to 1987. What is the small numbers of deaths compared to the leaders in killing people?
