No THAAD, stop missile defense, allow a maniac to rain destruction upon your country, don't defend yourself because that would be too provocative...stupid, what do you expect

Get Rodman in there again to chill him out.

Only China has the power to stop this madness.

NK has lied over and over. They've failed to honor agreements since at least the early 1990s. https://www.armscontrol.org/factsheets/dprkchron

Japan needs to protect Japan without depending to USA or China's rhetoric. The Constitution provided Self Defense by Japan. Kim might be thinking WWI. Hay politely said ittatinal. Don't depend on other countryside 's mercy. Time to show Abe''s Bouchou Damashii.

The United States on Wednesday rejected China’s proposal for a halt to joint U.S.-South Korean military exercises if North Korea suspends its nuclear and missile activities. It called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un irrational and demanded “positive action” before the U.S. can take his regime seriously.

I agree with this 100%. For a long time I said the US should just keep moving more and more hardware into the area to force China to act, and it looks like it's working. The problem can't be solved until China starts to force North Korea's hand, something they have been unwilling to do.

“This is not a rational person, who has not had rational acts, who is not thinking clearly,” Haley said of North Korea’s leader. “This is someone who is trying to get attention. This is someone who is trying to get a reaction.”

The downside is that Trump can be described the same way, and I'm sure a lot of people are thinking the same thing, including our allies. We've lost our ability to make statements like that with him in the White House. This is an example where his behavior hurts us on the world stage and makes situations like this more difficult. It doesn't have to be this way.

China is turning the economic screws on Lotte in China because those missile defense batteries are on a South Korean golf course owned by Lotte. China being petty and petulant as usual.

What US. really wants is to take the entire North Korea and put tgeir armored divisons alongside the Yalu river or to cross it like the Japanese did in 9/18/1931

China's government created a dangerous man (Kim Jong Un) who is running a dangerous country. China funded North Korea while North Korea built nuclear weapons.

China has been totally irresponsible.

“We have not seen any goodwill at all coming from North Korea,” Haley said. “I appreciate all my counterparts wanting to talk about talks and negotiations, (but) we are not dealing with a rational person.”

With any other country, the United States would be seeking negotiations, she said.

Heh, whatever happened to:

"I would speak to [Kim Jong Un], I would have no problem speaking to him."

-- Donald Trump, May 17, 2016

Isn't that what a lot of his supporters wanted him to do

But China approved Trump labels, creation of hotels and other large business in China. So, Trump may get help by China on NK issues.

By doing nothing and protecting NK on the UNSC China has let this problem get way out of hand. They have a lot of work to do if they want to reverse decades of coddling. Wang's comment is "too little too late".
