There you are!

The US has Weapons of Mass Destruction!

---the missiles would have to fly over Russia to reach most other potential targets in East Asia---

All these ICBM's are aimed at a small half of a country in East Asia, with a population of 22 millions. Its "sin" is adopting the socialist system, and the ICBM's are meant to be a "cure".

Obama has fired two hundred plus command level military officials in his Presidency, in contrast G.W. Bush in eight years only fired two. Obama is attempting get hold of the entire nuclear arsenal. He's never been allowed to carry the nuclear football.

Its "sin" is adopting the socialist system

No, its sins is attacking other countries, killing and kidnapping citizens of other countries, and starving its own citizens, just to name a few.

slumdog,

The U.S.A. does all of that:

Attacks other countries (Iraq/Afghanistan, etc.)

Kills and kidnaps citizens of other countries (Guantanamo)

Starves its citizens - there are plenty of people in the States attempting to live WAY below the poverty line

I wonder if everything is accident proof.

I am not about to defend the US. However, a comparison to North Korea makes the US look like a big slice of heaven to its citizens.

The reasons your comparison is ridiculous are these:

The people, rightly or wrongly, kept at Guantanamo were captured during a conflict. The South Koreans and Japanese people kidnapped from their own countries were not.

The missiles shot in Japan's direction were completely unprovoked as was the missile attack that left people dead on a South Korean island a while back.

The last part, the United States has about the same percentage of people under the poverty line as the UK and it is way down on the list of countries around the world. The starvation and poverty in North Korea is country-wide and completely government induced.

As I said, the comparison is ridiculous and naive.

slumdog, your allegation "The starvation and poverty in North Korea is country-wide and completely government induced" is false. Besides, starvation cannot be cured using ICBM's carrying hydrogen bombs falling from the sky. If this were the right cure, America could have cured the pervasive starvation in India already long ago. As regards the people kidnapped - yes, Korea has admitted kidnapping a small number of Japanese, but how many Korean Women and girls were kidnapped in order to serve as sex slaves? The missile shot in Japan's direction was not aimed at Japan, it flew high above. The shelling of the island occurred during military tension that began with a large American drill.

No, it is true. It has been witnessed and filmed by foreign aid crews among others. When you use the word 'false', you should be able to prove such. So, please attempt to prove that starvation and poverty or not wide-spread in NK.

Besides, starvation cannot be cured using ICBM's carrying hydrogen bombs falling from the sky.

Good point. Neither can it be cured by military build ups that NK does instead of providing for their citizens. Then, the millions that died in the famine between 1994 to 1998 would not have had to die. North Korea still relies heavily on foreign aid to this day and even with it malnutrition is wide-spread.

Korea has admitted kidnapping a small number of Japanese

What does 'a small number' have to do with anything? Up until the let a few come back for a visit to Japan, they claimed they had none. Who knows how many are still there.

but how many Korean Women and girls were kidnapped in order to serve as sex slaves?

By the present country and government of Japan? Zero.

The shelling of the island occurred during military tension that began with a large American drill.

The drills were planned and announce well in advanced and have and had taken place many times before. What NK did was irresponsible and cold=blooded murder.

Thank you for demonstrating why countries like the US need to keep their weapons fresh and ready to make sure countries like NK do not endanger their neighbors.

Sorry, an empire which has endangered all its neighbors as well as many other countries across the world does not need those thousands of ICBM's armed with hydrogen bombs to make sure that NK does not endanger is neighbors. It needs them to obliterate NK, and re-obliterate it, just because NK had embarked on a socialist path. Without America, all Asian countries would have leaved in peace, without anyone endangering the others.

Here we go USA lets here the basher

just because NK had embarked on a socialist path

It is more NK's murderous path that is a concern than its socialist one.

an empire which has endangered all its neighbors

Mexico and Canada are not in any danger.

It needs them to obliterate NK

If that were the goal, it would have been done years ago.

Without America, all Asian countries would have leaved in peace, without anyone endangering the others.

Someone needs to read a history book.

I would agree with one point, hopefully someday these kinds of weapons will disappear completely. You do not want to acknowledge it, I'm sure but the US has been decreasing the amount of these kinds of weapons it possesses over the years.

Would that NK would do the same. Jimmy Carter visited the country a few years back and discussed the wide-spread malnutrition in the country of NK. NK's leaders should start focusing on that for a change.

Is the USA the worst country in the world in terms of the "goodness" of our government? No, but we're light years ahead of North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, etc.
