"The legislation’s authors spent months crafting the 1,000-plus-page document, which pours $46 billion into border security and other efforts, including electronic employment verification and a modernized entry-exit system."

Funny how spending $46 billion is suddenly OK when it's used to keep THEM out. Would that money have been approved if it were spent on say, US citizens who could use some help?

They say the House will not pass it.

Time for recall elections for the 68 senators who voted to approve this amnesty.

Why should the millions of illegal immigrants be granted legal status under this plan? They are criminals. They should all be rounded up and shipped back to their home countries (at their expense).

RomeoRII: Why should the millions of illegal immigrants be granted legal status under this plan?

Because it's the only workable plan.

They should all be rounded up and shipped back to their home countries (at their expense).

Not workable.

“The House is not going to take up and vote on whatever the Senate passes,” Republican House Speaker John Boehner told reporters, noting that House members would put together their own language for legislation that would work its way through committee and eventually to the floor.

I can't wait to see what it is. Guaranteed they will shoot themselves in the foot to hold on to their fundamentalism. It's like dealing with religious zealots who make decisions on faith instead of logic.

SuperLib is clearly a quitter, "only workable plan" lol.
