You mean the 'warmonger' who pulled out of Iraq, and has been trying to pull out of Afghanistan, the two wars he didn't start?

As I mentioned Strangerland, look at the big picture.

Countries bombed: Obama 7, Bush 4.

Bush: Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Somalia.

Obama: Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and Syria.

And let's not forget: Obama's Ukraine coup-d'etat, NATO encroachment, nor his GITMO success in keeping it open, nor his failure to to do anything about racism in the US while arming the police with military hardware with DOD discounts. And the Drones! Oh...the drones! I wonder what George Carlin would have to say today.

And that's only what we know about considering the huge Black Budget that's afforded any US President.

Peace Prize winner my ass! What a war pig racket!

Art therapy seems to be a good stress reliever for Bush.

Now you can't say this site lacks positive Bush comments.

bass4funk: "Case in point, when OBL was taken out, it happened on Obama's watch and you libs had no problem with that. Bales crimes also happened under Obama's watch, now it's Bush's fault somehow? "

You can't see the difference between a group of soldiers going in and killing the world's most wanted terrorist on orders from the POTUS and a man who picks up a gun and kills innocent women and children after being in a war that should never have been started to begin with? Even YOU admitted the other day the war in Iraq was a mistake -- now just try to HONESTLY tell yourself who started it. None of this time machine 'Obama's war' crap, who gave the orders to go in. And don't say it doesn't matter, because obviously for this guy it mattered quite a lot since he would not have been there otherwise.

Anyway, no sympathy for this guy. And reading his attempted sob story makes me want to revise my stance on the death penalty. If this guy is in so much pain and simply took it out on others -- taking their joy, their loved ones' joy, and their lives, let him take his own. This scumbag has no place in this world and is 10 times worse than the people he thought he was fighting.

Plenty of democrats were in agreement with the invasion. Why is it a partisan argument with the Bush haters? Obama hasn't improved the region and he had over six years now. His withdrawal was premature and catastrophic. His support of the regions Arab Spring killed more than Bush did throughout the region. But some will never see the light. Head remains in the sand. Just like an ostrich.

Not only that, but the Obama admin. constantly tries to deflect from their own screw ups and mismanagement of the country, not to mention their disdain for the military, our veterans and the disabled and mentally challenged. Bales actions were his own, regardless what or who ordered the deployment, the responsibility lays with the individual that perpetrated the crime. Case in point, when OBL was taken out, it happened on Obama's watch and you libs had no problem with that. Bales crimes also happened under Obama's watch, now it's Bush's fault somehow? For libs when something goes well, it's Obama's greatness, whenever it's bad, then it's Bush's screw up. If Bales would have done something great, Obama and his minions would run a touchdown.

A modern day Lt Calley? You can't blame the US government for this - he's one man, if it was the system every US soldier would be killing innocents left right and centre. He's responsible for his own actions.

@zurc.....do you even recall the lies and resistance comming from Iraq at that time? Awfully suspicious! And this was on all media outlets. and who in their right mind supports war mongering? Silly view you have. Supporting human rights and national security is a fine line to distinguish right and wrong. Fact was Sadam did have chem weapons and did use them. To the level the administration believed at the time? In retrospect no.

She was fooled by the bush lies and fox news spin just like all the right wing posters on JT were fooled as well.

I think the people that are fooled are the people that choose to deny the fact, this guy in doing what he did, had absolutely nothing to do with Fox or Bush or are you saying, the man was a slave and didn't know right from wrong and was influenced or coheres to kill because he was told to do so?

Some liberals did not fall for the lies, like Barbara Lee in California, but she was viciously attacked by the right wing media machine for not being patriotic enough. When in reality she was the real patriot and you war mongers were cheering for another republican war failure and the following damage to the country all based on lies.

What does this diatribe have to do with the soldier killing the Afghanis?

Oh, Obama also saw through the lies, which is why he is President today and not Hillary.

At for 519 more days thankfully left.

Try as you may, the fact is that the Iraq invasion was a huge mistake created by the bush administration and sold like a box of phony soap to the gullible, i.e. republicans. Who are falling now for the next set of lies served up by the same sources about Iran and other locations. Nothing changes. The duped want to stay duped. Being wrong all the time does not seem to matter.

As much as it was Obama's for leaving and turning his back on our allies. It's the exact same thing on the opposite pole. Has Obama been doing all he can to help our troops that are mentally suffering? No, he is not, in fact, if you ask the military, the majority of them have never had so much disdain and distrust of an American president since Carter. So because of what this man did in 2012 under Obama's watch, it's somehow Bush's fault. Bales is not responsible for his own actions? So you guys would probably take credit if he did something outstanding on Obama's watch, but if it's under Bush's, it can't be good. Oh, when will you libs put your partisan Obama love fest aside and deal with the facts?

Add your gal Hillary to the war criminal list also. She was complicit.

@Strangerland, you seem to think that American history books aren't supposed to start in the year 2009.

Anyone who voted for this warmonger the second time has blood on their hands as well.

Only one group of people to blame for wrecking this man's life and those of the people he killed - bush and the other GOP war criminals who launched the war against a country that was never a threat to the US.

What about the Dems like Clinton, Biden and Reid that supported the war and what about the overwhelming sectarian violence that was the major cause of the deaths? Why no mention of that? How about blaming Obama for withdrawing to early and helping fuel the seed for the growth of ISIS and the turmoil in the ME?

There were no doubt plenty of indications that this man was not fit to serve but since bush had the US military scraped the bottom of the barrel to get more bodies in his multiple wars, this is what happens.

So can you give me specifics on what the procedures are when it comes to scrapping the bottom of a barrel? How can decipher a good and mentally sane person from one that is insane or how can you tell which soldier will crack and go nuts? Please clarification since you astute in these matters.

The right wing media is also to blame for fueling anger and religious hatred against muslims, most of which are just normal people like the rest of us trying to provide for their families and stay out of trouble.

Foster hate, you mean the Dems? That's their mantra, their entire narrative, using the race card at every turn. Don't you think if you want to blame the Sunni, Shia hatred, it would be more accurate to either blame 40 years of deep religious division in Iraq and the brutality of the Saddam regime where the majority of people were decent or should we go back and blame Britain and France for creating the dreaded Sykes and Picot agreement?

The results of the crimes of the bush/cheney and crew losers just continue to roll on and on.

Don't forget to add Obama and the corruption of the religious factions that are destabilizing the region.

They are all on board the Jeb Bush nomination team by the way, impossible to believe as that is. No matter how badly you screw up if you are a part of the bush inner circle you get a lifetime pass to screw up again.

Hmmm.so how is Jeb to blame for what his brother did, how is he evil when he did nothing wrong, the man was one of the most popular governors around and because his last name is "Bush" or that he's from the same DNA gene pool that just makes him unqualified to be president?

No one can screw up the country as bad as Obama, not even Hilary.

I despise both Dems and Reps, and anyone who still blames Bush and the Reps are being asinine. This horrible act occurred in 2012 folks!! Who was President then? This President said this-n-that to get elected but all he's done is further Bush's policy. Anyone who voted for this warmonger the second time has blood on their hands as well. More than half of the Senate and a third of the House Dems voted YES for the 2002 Iraq Resolution. If all of the Dems would have voted NO in the House and Senate, it wouldn't have passed. Grow up and look at the big picture please! The War Machine will keep turning until BOTH parties are buried.

What has changed over the years is sensitivity. Just about a week ago I met a man who killed several at close range in WW2 and his life was quite rewarding as a result. He turned to horrors into positives and has left a legacy of his life helping others. A soldier does his or her job when in war. It's not glorifying in any way. Loyal, obedient and honorable, yes. War is deat and killing we humans will never seem to find peace.

Quaeda left Afghanistan ages ago. You make soldiers fight endless wars for no reason in a god-forsaken place where the natives hate you, you end up with lots of people like Bales.

What do the policymakers expect?
