Im with you Bertie!.............The US needs to pull back to it's continental borders, set up an Iron Dome like defense, fortify it's border with Mexico and Canada and let the world go to Hell. The US faces a lose-lose scenario on the world stage, when the US does not intervene, it is condemned for inaction, when it intervenes the peace nuts come out of the woodwork screaming about heavy handiness. I'm all for letting some of the Isis nuts show up on other countries door steps and start chopping heads and stoning women, this is apparently the only way a large number of the population will realize that these folks don't respond nicely to a hug and counseling.

In my opinion, the most effective way to fight these groups is to choke off their supply of weapons and their funds. Someone must be selling them their rifles and ammo. A concerted international joint police effort should be made to put those arms dealers out of business. Then, governments should go after their bank accounts. Use the best hackers in the world, if need be, to find these bank accounts and empty them. Without funds and ammo, all they can do is shout slogans on street corners or on YouTube videos.

I predicted this back in 2003. So did Colin Powell, when he told Bush: "You invade it, you own it." Then Bush fired him...for being right.

Recently People republic have got many stabbing murders in the railway station and many public place. I am not a fan of Chinese leaders and communist party. However they did not say anything unproductive like JT posters or Western leaders. They started rapid fire action for cracking down on murderers of civilians.

As the western expat, I feel safer during my trip there and admired the strong leadership, prompt action and decisiveness of Xi Jingping the drangon heart. That would never work in reality, you don't wait until the jihadists come and kill you or bomb you. You seem to forget 9/11. If anything, you need to crush and if NOT demoralize, you need to decimate the senior leadership of ISIS, keep doing that, isolate them into smaller pockets and from them to use any resources from financing their jihadist agenda is what Washington should really concentrate on. Being an isolationist will get you killed and that is what the Jihadists want.

It seems that works for those people but who would have succeeded sadam? One of his sons? The oldest was reported to be even more of a monster Sadam was.
