So openly defying the UN.

While the world is distracted by Covid and America by massive protests against police murder and impunity, now is the perfect time for Netanyahu to annex West Bank.

As part of the Oslo accords, the Palestinians agreed to act as gendarmeries for their own occupation much like the Vichy regime in occupied France. In return, Israel was supposed to withdraw from the entire West Bank by 1998. It's now 22 years later, and instead of ending the occupation, the Israelis are planning to further entrench it by illegally annexing up to a third of the West Bank.

As the occupying power, Israel bears full responsibility under international law for the well being of the people they occupy. If the Israelis want to occupy the Palestinians in perpetuity, let them assume the cost in blood and treasure.

God damned these fools who claim to be "leaders". Regardless of what happens, the karma payback will be a total wake up call for all these idiots.

Israel's Gantz tells army to prepare for annexing West Bank

Untrue. He is not saying or planning to annex the entire West Bank. What we are talking about annexing some parts and leaving others in order to create sustainable borders.

Anybody with even a basic understanding of the situation knows that a) the 67 borders are not defensible or sustainable and b) Israel can not annex the West Bank.

So why the fake headlines?

Withdraw and leave it to who? To Hamas, to built a terrorist camp like Gazah, only multiple times the size? Look at a map and see how that is impossible. If the PA had been willing to recognize the existance of Israel and make a peace agreement, they could have had their state ages ago.

Personally, I think the West Bank should be handed back to Jordan... alas, Jordan does not want it.

Yeah. Can’t be giving these people their land back. They’re just too bitter about having their land taken and being forced to live in an occupied state for 70 years.

Better to give it to someone else. We know that the Palestinians won’t mind their land being given to someone else rather than back to them. Right?

Netanyahu and Gantz are same brush, two paints and both have no respect for international law.
