If you really are a refugee, go to the nearest country.

Liars and opportunistic refugees should be deported and not properly in first class..

Court refuses to halt UK deportation plan to Rwanda for migrants:

This is only the beginning.

Never mind if there is any serious interference with basic human dignity.

After all, a long long time ago, Britain had done similar things to their convicts by sending them to Australia..

Not sure if I believe the videos on UK TV of the beachfront luxury hotels with gyms and restaurants, and spacious sea view rooms and freedom to come and go, but I’ve checked out Rwanda before this, it is actually a great peaceful place to live. Better than sharing a two bedroom council flat with 12 other refugees, living on baked bean and pasta, and getting mugged by the local gangs.

I think you’re getting a bit hysterical there.

The UK has its problems, but it’s still a place refugees look to for a better life.

This wild plan is reminiscent to Adolf's idea of deporting the Jews to Madagascar

A great idea to convince a few of the economic refugees to maybe look elsewhere for easier pickings.

Anyone in real danger would welcome some quality time in Rwanda. But most of the people turning up on boats are just looking for a better life. I don't blame them, only the UK majority doesn't want them. So sorry... move on!

We've been far too soft for decades. Most of these people are economic migrants and we simply cannot take them in. Our country is too small, and the NHS and transportation infrastructure are collapsing under the strain.

Quote: the NHS and transportation infrastructure are collapsing under the strain.

The NHS and transportation infrastructure are collapsing because they were being run by migrant workers that Brexit has kicked out.

£120m and counting. It would be cheaper to give them a flat in the UK. They could fill the job vacancies of all the migrant workers Brexit kicked out.

Johnson is buying his way to an isolated nationalist enclave with other people's money, livelihoods and opportunities.

If you think Rwanda is a nice place, read Private Eye's piece on it and its leadership, rather than the PR guff on Wikipedia.
