"I shook hands with everybody!" . . . Boris Johnson a couple weeks ago

America has its moron and the UK has theirs.

Downing Street has already said, however, that Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab would deputise if necessary.

There you go.

America has its moron and the UK has theirs.

Nice, positive comment there, stormcrow.

This article is making a mountain out of a molehill. Johnson has already nominated Raab. The country won't grind to a halt if Cabinet ministers get ill.

@Serrano

Yeah, it's kind of like Trump (until recently) telling everybody that this coronavirus was nothing but a Democratic hoax, but you'd never think so now. Now Trump is like, "I knew all along that this virus was biblical from the start even before the Chinese or the experts did. Why? Because I'm a very stable genius." What a wuss!

The 'Designated Survivor' to fill-in has been named, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Dominic Raab.

Raab occupies/d the cabinet role as First Secretary of State. All Prime Ministers have the power and authority to delegate responsibility to any of their ministers.

Some would contend/suggest that Boris Johnson, has, in one way or another been incapacitated from the shoulders up since birth, other would insist this is just tittle-tattle and rumour.

But the fact that two such crucial members of the British government have contracted the disease - and their top medical adviser is now self-isolating with symptoms - has raised questions about how the government would function without them at a time of global crisis.

I imagine it would do rather better than it will with Johnson actually trying to take charge.

Q. Has the Queen got it too ?
