It'll be okay, Trump doesn't read

Trump is doing serious damage, not only to the US and its institutions, but also to allies all around the world.

No doubt he'll come out and rubbish these comments and aim a personal dig at the Ambassador. It'll be 'fake news', or he'll be accused of being a democrat, blah blah blah.

It's amazing that so many people say these things, yet he asserts it's all untrue.

The man is a narcissist, a solipsist, and a pathological liar.

He is dangerous beyond words and the sooner he is out of office the better.

And another professional comes out to confirm what Tillertson, Cohn, McMaster, Kelly, and Mattis have already told us - Trump is a __moron, an idiot, and has the understanding of a fifth or sixth grader. And that the White House is nothing more than "crazytown"....

And with Donnie's continual mental deterioration; "The Continental Army took back the British Airfields in 1776", it will only get worse...

You could poll all the Ambassadors from every country represented in Washington, and all would say the same as this gentleman - except one....

The Russian Ambassador would say he is an excellent intelligence asset and proud supporter of the motherland...

Unfortunately I seriously doubt any sort of revelation will damage Trump in the eyes of his fervent supporters or even Republicans in general, who have made a Faustian bargain with the devil as long as their taxes aren't raised.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

The brave pilots of America's continental air force didn't lose their lives fighting the British at Newark International Airport, just so you could make fun of its president some 240 years later!

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Let me guess, liberals are clever? Yeah, the last 2 debates showed that. Heaven help us all.

I guarantee you all of them know the Continental Army in 1776 didn't have an Air Force...

*Trump praised the Americans’ military efforts in the war against Great Britain. “Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rockets’ red glare, it had nothing but victory,” he said.*

Kim Darroch for prime minister!

9 ( +14 / -5 )

I see nothing in his supposed revelations that supports his narrative.

He has a much closer view of this administration than you could hope to have.

You indeed see nothing like the vast majority of us here.

Trump is ****inept, uniquely dysfunctional and his presidency could crash and burn and *end in disgrace**.*

Yep! Britain's ambassador to the U.S. is spot on. Give that man a cigar!

After the karmic rain on Trump's 4th of July Washington parade ( I just knew the illiterate ninny was gonna blow it), the POTUS was reduced to a gibbering fool. Hans Christian Andersen would have really savored this "Emperor's New Clothes" celebration! Surely it's time to apply the 25th tout de suite before the mental health of his band of loyal "Stormtrumpers" also goes further south .

7 ( +9 / -2 )

So you're saying he memorized that entire 4th of July speech? hehe

How about the part where he explained how Fox and Friends bravely reported on the battles 240 years ago?

7 ( +7 / -0 )

If Trump had been a contestant on "America's Got Talent," Simon Cowell would have thumped him off the stage within 5 seconds.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Reading these comments again, I thought the Ambassador was actually being quite polite, "Inept, incompetent, and insecure" - those are compliments compared to the real Sultan of Stupidity. I guess it's the typical British reserve.

Anyone else would have called him a pervert, moron, white supremacist, scam artist, and in the early stages of dementia - again, except for the Russian Ambassador who would just call him "comrade"...

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Trump’s atrocious ignorance was on full display in his 4th of July travesty of a speech.

He’s in over his head here.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

So why does the spineless UK government continue to support him?

What would you have them do? Break off relations? Recall their diplomats? Impose sanctions? Why would the UK throw away a century of productive & good relations just because some inept toucan is in charge for a few years? The UK is well aware of the idiot / human/ idiot / human cycle of recent US Presidents. They'll just sit tight until another normal one comes along.

Yes. It’s also worth adding that supporting Trump destroys reputations. The stench of this one will stick.

Finally someone saying out loud what everyone has been thinking for the past couple of years!

Now if we could just hear it from within the republican party!

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Well, who couldn't have guessed some pompous blowhards would come out with that cliched "if it hadn't been for the US you'd be speaking German in London" line.

be careful UK, you need us more than we need you

If we can do without the EU we can do without you lot as well.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

@Jimizo, you think so? I'd have thought that the UK's approach to Trump would be mirrored by most governments around the world. He's like the big mouth bully in the pub, you just laugh at his boasts & jokes until he buggers off.

For better or worse, the US economy & military influence is vital to most western nations, more so for the UK. We should have made him Earl of Sunderland or something when he visited, we might have gotten a cracking trade deal out of him before he goes to prison.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

We can know with this article that how UK intelligence feels with the present American resume. On the other hand, it's a proof of the power and influence of theUS.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

So why does the spineless UK government continue to support him? He tells the UK to seize a ship and they say, "Yes Sir", he tells the UK to place sanctions and they abbey.

Time the UK regained their independence from the US, time they regained its sovereignty, time they stopped kowtowing.

-4 ( +6 / -10 )

How about the part where he explained how Fox and Friends bravely reported on the battles 240 years ago?

How about the part where he didn't go negative or political the entire speech?

which the swamp either does not understand or does not to understand because they want another globalist crook in office instead of Trump.

As long as he pulls the globalist line and is a liberal quasi-socialist, they’ll love him...or her. But with the freak show they have running on the Dems side, I doubt that will ever come to fruition.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

be careful UK, you need us more than we need you

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

So another swamp creature spouts his Trump hatred.... what else is new. I see nothing in his supposed revelations that supports his narrative. What I see is effective political theater, which Trump is good at and which the swamp either does not understand or does not to understand because they want another globalist crook in office instead of Trump.

Who really cares what this guy thinks or says, as George Carlin once said, “words in and of themselves have No tangible meaning.” In a month from now people won’t even remember where this guy came from.

America has needed Britain for 245 years

Yes and now they need us, especially 75 years ago.

be careful UK, you need us more than we need you

Pretty much.

Yep! Britain's ambassador to the U.S. is spot on. Give that man a cigar!

I keep forgetting, guys like him prefer our US leaders to up to their standards and if not, then they’re troglodytes or inferior degenerates.......I’m sure Trump is laughing at him by now. ROFL!

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

So why does the spineless UK government continue to support him?

They know where there bread is buttered.

He tells the UK to seize a ship and they say, "Yes Sir", he tells the UK to place sanctions and they abbey.

Time the UK regained their independence from the US, time they regained its sovereignty, time they stopped kowtowing.

Yeah, good luck with that.
